A Secret Hideout

It's been a few days since I have arrived. Ted is very friendly and took care of me pretty well. But it was Little Moon that had a solitary attitude. She has only talked about fifty words the past few days. I have only met her during meal times or at times when I wonder in the garden or at night under the porch.

"Hello, Mr.D" as he video called me one day.

"How is it going, are you bored?" He inquired me.

"Ted has taken me to a few places and introduced me to a few of his friends. But he said going to bars is prohibited..." I heard Mr.D laugh.

"Little Moon is so strict on that aspect. She won't even let his friends gather if alcohol is involved. How are you getting along with her, George?"

"Hmm well ... not much to say... most of the time she's in deep thought or in office."

"Oh, I see... where is she now?"

"In her office. Would you like to talk to her" Mr.D nodded yes.

I knocked on her door and entered after she looked at me.

"Mr.D wanted to talk to you."

"Oh ok...." with a distant look on her face. I put the call on speaker.

"How are you doing Little Moon?"

"Fine, not bad. What about you? Is it spring?"

"I am doing well as usual my Little One. I need to talk to both of you," said Mr.D.

We all discussed the first part of the scenes and how they should be for about an hour or so. I realized Mr.D and Little Moon both are very specific with how things should be and how the drama should flow. They plan things intensively. He gave me and Little Moon the task of creating a special document on how emotions should replicate on scenes.

"Hmm... You want us to do the hardest thing, Booo.." Little Moon made a face at Mr.D.

"And you have given us only two weeks," I said as well.

"George, you do have a co-actor in front of you.."

I looked at her. She was trying to hide her face.

"Little Moon, don't back out, I know you can act, dance and sing. If you don't... I'll show Ted and George that clip" threatened Mr.D laughing.

"OH! NO!!! I am finished.. I will get the breakdown done with George. Promise." she gave in.

Later that day evening Mr.D send me a set of small video clips of Little Moon performing. Seems she had been a theater performer before. Her singing voice was sweet. Mr.D advised me to keep these clips a secret as she considers these as painful memories. He wants her to use her full talent little by little and gain the trust she has lost herself with my help.

----------------------------------

"Ted, did you see your sis?." I asked him as I didn't her for the past two to three hours.

"Hmm... no I didn't as I came back a few minutes ago. Do you need her for something?"

"I was looking for her to discuss some work-related matters."

"May I know if Brother D gave some tiresome work?" He asked with a twitch in his eye.

Yes, I nodded.

"There's one place she can be in. Her secret hideout. I'll take you there."

After about half an hours drive, we came to a stop. THere was a little sandy walk path.

"Brother George, walk from her along the path, you will see her then."

"Aren't you coming?" I asked as I was wondering why he didn't want to go with me.

"This is my sister's secret hideout build by Brother D. You will see it when you go. Other than her the security is allowed to go and Brother D has instructed to give permission so you can visit here too."

"What about you"

"I can come if there's an emergency." He nods off and walks away. I follow the path and soon I feel calming sea breeze hitting on me.

Suddenly a beach appears in front of me. A calm sea and a night full of stars with a petite figure sitting on the beach with her knees tucked under her chin. With a picnic basket and Olivegreen nearby her. A breath-taking view. The more I looked at her, something striking seems to appear in front of me. Most of the photos Mr.D has of Little Moon are taken here in this same location. Which means this place is very special to them.

"May I sit down?" I startled her.

"Yes." She looked at me as to inquire how I knew this place.

"Ted bought me here, when I was looking for you."

"Hmm... do you like something to eat?" she pointed out to the picnic basket full of homemade biscuits, sandwiches and some other spicy pastries with some lemonade.

Silently we eat and drink while she shared the food with the security guys around us. Then only I realized her handing a bigger basket to the security, to send it to the nearby home on the beach.

"Auntie...." I hear a child's voice and looked at the small home. Little Moon was waving her hand at the kids smiling at them. None of them came to her but I can see they are enjoying the food she bought.

"Do you always come here?" I asked her, thinking of ways to make her talk.

"Not always, but I love to spend time here alone so I can let my mind wonder." I looked at her.

"I am sorry if I am disturbing you."

"No it's ok...I was feeling a bit lonely so I don't mind having some company." She smiled.

"Can I ask you something?"

"Hmmm..."

"Why did you really want me to be the lead actor?" she looked at me and then looked at her feet.

"Because your eyes look like my D's and you are a talented actor. But for some reason, I feel like I kind of know you."

"How? I have never met you or talked to you before."

"It's a gut a feeling, George. I believe in my gut feeling."

I smiled secretly and realized still it's not time to reveal who I am in her world. I stood up and walked a bit further and looked at her tiny figure gazing at the horizon. I snapped a photo from my phone, a view I will not forget easily from my mind.
