NEO’s Debut

Time Skip to 9th December, 2016~~

All 18 members with their manager hyung and the other various company staff had now returned back to Korea after their successful Trainees Showcase in Bangkok. The CEO was very satisfied with them, thus as soon as they landed in Korea, they were immediately called over to the company building. They were very tired and exhausted to the core, thanks to their busy schedule these past days in Bangkok and now this was just too much for them to handle, so much that they all fell asleep during their car ride back to their company's building.

They were guided to their practice room by their manager hyung, who instructed them to stay while he went to visit the CEO about this matter which looked rather important. They lay like lifeless beings whose soul's had left the bodies on the floor of their practice room, trying to get as much rest as they could before meeting their CEO to make them look presentable whereas at the same time they were also filled with a feeling of nervousness, now who wouldn't when they're about to meet their boss.

After a few moments of them still lying around, the door to the practice room opened showing their manager hyung with the CEO of their company aka their boss. They all hurried to gather together as they were all scattered around, greeting the CEO with a 90° bow as he stood in front of them with a serious look but still accepted their bow with a small simple nod but thanked them for all the hard work in Thailand.

He got straight to the point, as he considered their condition of having jet lag and did not want to take much time so that they all could rest themselves for what was to come for them. He started "OK! So after your successful showcase at Bangkok and the great response from the fans had the board of directors decide to have you DEBUT!!!!".

This announcement made by the CEO caused the mood in the room to take a 360° turn, from having a dead atmosphere and them wearing expressions which said 'I don't care, I'm too tired for this shit.' To a very cheerful and excited mood with all of them shouting and yelling in joy of their dreams finally coming true.

They were all wearing the best smiles that they had ever smiled in their life while they kept thanking the CEO for giving them such meaningful news which had now thrown all of their tiredness and exhaustion out of the window. But the CEO continued without a sign of happiness on his face seeing the boys at their best moods ever.

He said "I have explained all the teams and ideas that we have for your debut, so I'll take my leave now so that you'll understand all the information about their concept as a team and also celebrate." After saying this the CEO left the room and their manager hyung explained to them what he had been explained to a few minutes earlier by their CEO.

He said that the youngest members will form a group named NEO FREE which will contain 7 members starting from Mark, Hajoon, Ren, Jino, Jae, Chen and Jihun. NEO FREE will be a group who will represent the young and free spirited youth, this group will also have a graduating concept as in when a member reaches 20yrs of age according to his Korean age (which means Koreans turn 1 yr older every January), he will graduate from NEO FREE.

While the other members will form the groups named NEO 35 and NEO U. Where NEO 35 is a group name based on the longitude of Seoul, the capital of Korea and their motto is to begin from Korea while they spread their influence throughout the whole world. The members for NEO 35 are to be Young, Tae, Mark, Jaeho, Yuka, Win and Hajoon but then Johnny and Dowon will be added after NEO 35's first album, they still need help with their vocals and dance.

As for NEO U the 'U' stands for United meaning all the 18 members of NEO are united and the members to this sub unit group will keep on changing with different concepts of the albums. With every word that left their manager's mouth, the excitement kept on increasing but they also knew, from that day onwards they will have to work a million times harder than they had ever before but were still ready to face it with open hearts, being just one step away from archiving their dreams and goals in life.

4 months later~~

4 months of hard work was spent working on their vocal, rap and dance practice. The boys had put their hearts and souls into preparing for it, but at the same time were trembling with fear, nervousness and excitement for their first debut stage which was held on April 9th, 2017. Luckily everything went smoothly as they had practiced again and again for, making a successful debut.

There were always member's cheering for their other teammates who were having their debut as NEO U with the members Young, Ten, Dowon, Jaeho, Mark, Jungwon, Lucus and Kim made their debut first. Then NEO 35 a fix sub unit under the group NEO made their debut on July 7th, 2017 and lastly NEO FREE on August 24th, 2017. Every unit of NEO made it successfully into the music industry, they were capturing the hearts of many fans with their upgraded manga characters like visuals, their dancing, singing and rapping skills being too good for a rookie Idol group.

NEO U debuted first with their title track being 'Like A Boss' whereas NEO 35 debuted second with their track being 'The Firetruck' world's most innocent and pure song We Young & Free and finally NEO FREE debuted with the world's most innocent and pure song 'We Young & Free'.

Now that they had finally debuted they had their own unit's fan meetings, live stages as well as different dorms. Everything was going well and they were very happy although they worked even harder now, they were still happy they were living their dreams that they worked so hard to achieve.

Not to forget with time, even Jihun and Chen grew more close to each other as their other 16 hyungs were all happy in their own relationships, looking and taking care of their partners. Whereas, for our ChenJi couple, although both of them had feelings for each other, they were not brave enough to confess as they didn't want to harm their friendship and Jihun totally misunderstood and took Chen’s drunken confession just as his drunk talks by thinking that the latter had no feelings for him but he was just being dense.

Time Skip to 10th September, 2017~~~

Jihun was getting more eager as every day passed, he wanted to confess his feelings to Chen and now that they were done with their album promotions, he decided to visit his wise, lovely and experienced Young-ie hyung for advice.

"Jae hyung! I'm going to the 35 hyungs dorm to meet Young-ie hyung, ok?! I may stay the night over! So if I haven't come back till late, assume that I'm staying over for the day, huh?!" Jihun informed Jae the only one present at the freelies dorm at that moment because the NoRen couple had gone for a date and Chen had gone home which he had in Korea for visiting his mom.

"Ani~ Why are you even going now? Just stay here with me Jihun-nah~ I'm bored and there's no one here to play with except you! I'll cook food for you, huh?! So stay and play with me Jihun-nah~~" Jae whined about being left along.

"Hyung! Anyways Ren hyung and Jino hyung will be back soon, so play with them instead and Young-ie hyung has already prepared food for me and I'm going because I've something important to ask off Young-ie hyung, ok?! So I'm going now! Bye bye Jae hyung~" Jihun countered back and rushed out before Jae could make up anymore excuses.

Jihun arrived at the NEO 35 members dorm, greeted a few of his hyungs whom he saw sitting in the living room watching TV and went straight for the kitchen knowing his Young-ie hyung would be there cooking something for him while waiting for his arrival. Actually it was Young's idea when Jihun had called him for advice, to invite Jihun to his dorm, feed the boy and speak some sense into him.

"Young-ie hyung~ I'm here! Woah~ Did you make all of this hyung?! But It's too much for me to eat alone!" Jihun was amazed at the cooking skills and amount of food prepared for him.

After eating they sat down for their talk and Young advised him with some wise words saying "Jihun-ah, it's better to say it now instead of holding back by thinking of the future. You never know it may be too late and when you'll see that person going with someone else it will make you regret your decision even more. SO FIGHTING! AND TAKE GOOD CARE OF CHEN FOR ME!!" To which Jihun accepted them as golden words and took them into consideration immediately.
