"Are you mad at me? That's right, I shouldn't have asked that. You must have been very angry and disappointed with me," said Karin.

"Karin, how could I be angry with you? You are the closest person and the person who means the most to me," said Edwin.

"But you must be disappointed in me."

"No," said Edwin, stroking Karin's head.

Karin woke up from her sleep and saluted.

"Yes Boss!" She exclaimed. Edwin smiled and ruffled Karin's hair. Unbeknownst to them, a girl watched it with an angry expression.

"I don't think so. He's so sad that the project failed. Edwin acted that way because he saw her so sad. You're just too jealous," said the girl next to him.

The face of the girl who was gossiping earlier turned into a frown. Unexpectedly, she was the one who intended to spread rumors, but instead she was dropped down.

"Anna, stop it!" snarled Edwin who was standing in the doorway.

"You've wrongly accused. If anyone likes her, then it's me. If anyone seduces, it's me too."

Edwin then walked in and grabbed Karin's hand.

"It's all because I like her. I like Karin."

"Thank you for helping me," said Karin who was now in Edwin's room.

"But you didn't lie like that."

"Who said I was lying? I really like you, Karin. Since the beginning you worked here, I have fallen in love with you," said Edwin, holding Karin's shoulders.

"Sorry, I didn't realize your feelings for me," Karin said quietly.

"It doesn't matter, now you know. So do you accept my feelings?"

Karin sat pensively on the sofa in her living room. She was still thinking about the expression of love that Edwin had said to her. She knew the man's feelings were genuine. However, she had yet to find an answer to the sincerity of that feeling.

"Ah!" Silvi shouted, who had been busy looking at her cell phone.

"I do not believe it."

"What is it?" Karin asked in a worried voice. Maybe there is bad news that befell her best friend's relatives.

Silvi rushed over and sat next to Karin.

"Look, look at this!" She said, showing her cell phone.

"My honey, Vian, all of his shows have been cancelled. His roles in dramas and reality shows will be replaced by the playboy idol, Matthew."

Karin did not hear Silvi's long speech. She just stared at the phone screen.

'Oh my, how could I forget? Even though Silvi discussed him every day. It turned out that the man I hit was Vian. No wonder his face is so familiar,' Karin muttered to herself.

"My beloved oppa, your fate is unfortunate," said Silvi while hugging her cellphone as if it was Vian.

"Calm down," Karin said softly, patting her best friend's shoulder.

"It's all because of a girl. I'm sure she's flirting with him. Who wouldn't be captivated by my handsome Vian?"

"Girl?"

"Yes," said Silvi, showing Karin the news again. Karin gasped. Although the photo wasn't very clear, it was her.

Silvi turned to Karin who was silent then looked back at the screen.

"But why is this girl like you? The clothes she wears too, don't you have this kind of clothes too?"

Karin laughed nervously as she waved her hand.

"No-no way, there's no such thing. After all, why am I seeing Vian? I'm just tired of hearing you keep talking about him every day."

Silvi nodded.

"That's right," she muttered under her breath. Beside her, Karin breathed a sigh of relief.

Vian sipping vodka in hand. His eyes were filled with anger. For a moment he burst out laughing. Soon he got up and got out of the luxurious bathtub and put on his bath pajamas. All because of that girl.

'Maybe he's having fun with some friends right now. Laughing at my stupidity or celebrating success for doing something with me,' Vian muttered to himself. He couldn't take his eyes off the mirror in front of him.

Vian who had finished changing clothes rushed out of the bathroom. The doorbell rang at the apartment. Vian immediately looked at the screen to see who was visiting.

'She's again. Can't she is just disappear?' Vian grumbled in his heart.

The girl outside was named Cindy Wu. He is a Chinese-Korean mulatto who is also an artist like Vian. Since the first time we met as a guest star on Vian's show, this beautiful girl has fallen in love. He openly pursues Vian, has even expressed his love. However, Vian did not respond. Even so, Cindy kept chasing. She felt sure that Vian would also like her.
