2 Weeks Later

…

Today marked the beginning of Izuku's first day at school. As he walked through the hallways, he searched for his class but accidentally bumped into someone. "I apologize," said the person who collided with Izuku. "No worries, it was my fault too," replied Izuku before the girl with black hair left. He continued his search for his class.

After a while, Izuku finally found his classroom. Before entering, he overheard two students arguing, and it was clear who the annoying one was. "Don't put your legs on the desk! It's disrespectful to the class," scolded one student. The other defiantly retorted, "No, I can do whatever I want."

Ignoring the commotion, Izuku entered the classroom and was met with complete silence. He paid no mind to it and found the nearest empty desk. "Hello! I'm Tenya Ida from SOUMEI Junior High! Welcome to Class 1-A! We'll be classmates from now on!" greeted Tenya, extending his hand for a handshake. Izuku shook his hand and introduced himself, "I'm Izuku Midoriya, from… I Don't fucking remember, well whatever , it doesn't matter, Nice to meet you, Tenya Ida."

"Hmm, you can't use that kind of language in class!" Tenya admonished.

Rolling his eyes, Izuku was about to reply when he heard someone call out his name. Turning around, he saw Uraraka in her school uniform. "Nice to see you again, Uraraka," he said. Ochaco waved her hand, insisting, "Oh, no, just call me Ochaco. I wanted to thank you again for saving my life!"

"You're welcome, I guess? You can call me Izuku, Izuku Midoriya," he replied. (I'm never getting used to calling myself Izuku, but I can't disappoint my mother and use another name; she didn't give it to me.)

Ignoring Ida's protests, Izuku shifted his attention to the back of the class, hoping to find Mina there. To his delight, Mina surprised him by covering his eyes with her hand. "Guess who?" she said with a smile. "Good to see that you made it, Mina," Izuku responded as she removed her hand. Mina energetically shared, "Yup, of course I did! I came second in my school. Kirishima over there came 3rd and topped my school!"

"That's great to hear. I'm just happy to share a class with two beauties, 'cause I don't think I can handle a class with that explosion idiot and the uptight guy," Izuku said, pointing at Katsuki and Ida, as he settled into his seat at the back of the class.

"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU CALL ME? DON'T THINK THIS IS OVER! I'LL BE NUMBER ONE," Katsuki shouted. Izuku retorted with a smile, "I hope you enjoy that second place, Explosion boy. You'll be holding onto it for a long, long while."

Before things escalated further between Katsuki and Izuku, a peculiar man entered the room. Everyone quickly took their seats. The man was wrapped in a sleeping bag and resembled a worm. As he emerged from the sleeping bag, he introduced himself, "It took you all eight seconds to quiet down. Life is short, so don't waste it, kids. My name is Shota Aizawa, and I'm your homeroom teacher. Nice to meet you all. Now, put on these clothes and head to the P.E. Ground immediately."

Handing out new clothes, Aizawa guided everyone to the changing room before they proceeded to the P.E. Ground.

"This is so cringy; these clothes are just ridiculous," Izuku muttered with a sigh.

"Well, that's the price you have to pay to become a hero, I guess. Hey, my name is Eijiro Kirishima. I saw you fight the other day; you were really strong, man!" said the red-haired spiky kid. Izuku couldn't help but notice how much Kirishima resembled a shonen protagonist. "Nice to meet you too, Eijiro Kirishima. I'm Izuku Midoriya, but just call me Izuku," he replied.

Behind Kirishima, another kid appeared, sporting spiky orange hair that mostly pointed down. "Yo, what's up, man? You were really cool the other day! I'm Denki Kaminari, nice to meet ya," he greeted.

"Nice to meet you too, Kaminari," Izuku responded.

Then came another kid, whom Izuku couldn't help but call a "midget." This boy had weird ball-like purple hair. "I'm Minoru Mineta, professional pervert. Watch out before I steal all your girls, Mr. Popular," he declared. Izuku tilted his head and glanced down, only to realize he was nearly naked. He then said, "Listen up, everyone. I appreciate you wanting to introduce yourselves, but come on, I'm not gay, so I'd rather not have you all introduce yourselves while I'm almost naked."

Kirishima was the first to respond, "Oh, I didn't even notice. My bad, man." Kaminari just looked down awkwardly, and Mineta, undeterred, chimed in, "Hey, relax! We're all friends here. Don't worry; I'll make sure to invite you when we peek on the girls' locker room. Actually, let's do that now!" Izuku glared at Mineta and responded in a deep, dark voice, "Do that, and I'll rip you apart..." Mineta's body shivered, and he saluted, saying, "YES, SIR!!"

After getting to know everyone, Izuku proceeded to the P.E. Grounds where he saw the girls gathered with Aizawa. As he observed Mina and Ochaco looking nervous, he couldn't help but wonder why.

"Alright, everyone, now that you're all here, we're going to conduct a Quirk Apprehension test," announced Aizawa.

The entire group responded in astonishment, "A QUIRK APPREHENSION TEST???!!!" Only Izuku looked at Aizawa with a sigh, muttering, "All the same…"

Ochaco was the first to inquire, "What about the UA Ceremony, Mr. Aizawa?" Aizawa glanced at her before replying, "UA is under a lot of pressure to excel lately, and we can't afford to have weak students. We are renowned for our freedom, both for the students and teaching methods. The test includes Softball Pitch, Standing Long Jumps, 50 Meter Dash, and Grip Strength. You must perform well in all of these, and the student who comes last will be expelled from the school!"

Everyone reacted in shock, "WHAT!!!!" Meanwhile, Izuku thought to himself, "Truly, all the same."

Hearing the high stakes, all the students prepared for the test with utmost seriousness, realizing that their place at UA was now in jeopardy. And when the results were finally in, this is how they fared: [Results not provided in the original text.]
