Family Matters
Sam's POV
My phone buzzed insistently, cutting through the noise in my mind. I was still reeling from the news about my grandfather's coma, his face and all the memories of him replaying in my mind. I glanced at the screen Uncle Peter.
I took a deep breath, bracing myself. Uncle Peter didn't usually call unless it was important.
"Sam," he said the moment I picked up, his voice tense. "We need to talk. Things are getting out of hand."
"What do you mean?" I asked, feeling a chill settle over me. There was already enough chaos without something else stirring.
"It's Kelvin," he said, barely pausing. "With the chairman out of commission, he's planning to assume control. He's already maneuvering himself into the top seat. If we don't act soon, he'll be in full control of the company."
