Ch. 186 Jr's Bar

The Kingdom of Vale, in the place of the Continent Sanus. I arrived in front of a bar.

Jr's bar, which serves Alcohol and information and a certain orange head that attends once in a while.

" Man, seeing this this place in real life is... awesome." I spoke to myself as I took in the real-life view of the bar.

The sun was setting down as I managed to arrive and locate this place after bribing a few cats.

I entered through the doors and immediately felt the stares in throughout the bar.

Though subtle, it didn't stop me from sensing them.

It seemed to be this places gaurds or Jr's henchmen who keep an eye out through the bar.

The bar was filled with customers as I calmly walked through the crowd of people using them, losing the eyes that were on me.

Like a ghost, I arrived in front of the bar with a man making drinks with great dexterity.

I sat down on a nearby seat in front of him, letting my presence be known.

" Hm?" The man raised an eyebrow as he placed the drink in front of a customer before arriving in front of me.

" What would you have...." he paused as I lifted my hood.

" Aren't you a little too young?" He asked as I ignored the question.

" Do you have any chocolate shakes?" I asked as I put a few cash in front of him.

" That much for a chocolate shake?" He muttered as I leaned forward.

" I'm looking for a certain orange haired bandit." I spoke as I leaned back on my chair.

The man stared at me as I stared back at him.

A few seconds of silence passed by as I put another stack of cash on the counter as he immediately took it.

" One milkshake coming up." He replied.

I smiled as I tapped my hands on the counter waiting.

' Ahh, I can not wait for the taste of milkshake. It's been too long.' I thought as I felt two presence from my left and right.

" Look, Mil, it's a little kitten." A woman in a white dress spoke as she started rubbing my head.

But since I'm in a good mood, I let it slide.

" Mhm." The woman called Mil nodded her head in agreement.

She looked hesitant to rub my head as I leaned my head towards her.

I felt my ears twitch as she started rubbing them gently.

" Awww, he's purring."

' Huh? Purring? Me?' I controlled my body as I stood up.

" Eh?" The two girls exclaimed as I stood up.

" Here you go." The man returned with my milkshake.

" Your order is almost finished." He spoke before leaving again to deal with other customers.

I nodded as I felt the two girls touch again.

" Soft." The girl Mil commented.

In the middle of my milkshake, a realization hit me.

' Aren't these two the malachite twins?' I asked myself.

I felt my head bobbing from their petting.

' Maybe that's enough.' As mush ad I enjoyed their hands on my head I knew it was wrong.

" Alright, that's enough." I spoke as I took out a letter.

" Huh?" The two girls were taken aback.

" This is from your mother." I spoke as I put the letter down on the table.

And this stirred them up as I took my milkshake and lifted upwards and jumped off my seat to dodge a kick.

I put the straw in my mouth and began drinking as I sedge the two girls' attacks.

A claw from the side and a kick to the head.

I dodged them both as I entered through the crowd of people losing them.

And I felt the people that observed this bar making their way towards us.

" There!" A henchmen shouted as the crowd started dispersing.

I sighed as I stood in the middle of the henchmen and the twins.

" Hold on. This is a misunderstanding...." I was interrupted as I dodged a bullet.

I looked behind me to see a bullet hole in the piller, then looked back at one of the henchmen that shot that gun.

He lowered his weapon as I stared at him.

Shik!!

I unsheathed my hidden blade unconsciously as he scared the henchmen as he stepped back.

" What's going on here?" The man from the counter asked as he made his way through the henchmen.

I frank my milkshake as she sheathed my hidden blade.

" Just a misunderstanding. I was delivering a letter." I shrugged.

" Hmph! Here's your order." The man spoke, and he handed me my information in a bulky envelope

" That's a lot of information." I spoke as I put the envelope into my robes.

" You gave enough money for that, Hidden one." He said my mercenary name, or was it bounty hunter? I didn't care.

I fi she'd my milkshake as I gave it back to the man.

" Laters~," I saluted as I exited the bar to look at the information I received.

On a nearby rooftop, I opened the envelope and read the information.

" I see... so he's with a girl with two different hair colors...and he's planning something big too." I smiled at this information.

( juniors Pov )

After the ruckus the kid made in my bar, I looked at Roman, who slouched on the couch without a care.

" There's good news and bad news." I spoke, making the orange haired bandit look at me.

" Huh? Why should I care?" He waved me off.

I chuckled at his reaction.

" Well, if you don't care, then that'll mean you won't be alive in the next few hours." I replied.

Roman froze as he looked at me.

" Spill it." He said.

I made a gesture with my hand as he groaned.

" Tch! Here!" He threw me a bag filled with gems as I weighed it in my hands.

" There's a bounty hunter looking for you, and he just exited the bar."

" And?" He motioned his hands.

" The bounty hunter is known as the Hidden one. And he paid for your information."

Thud!

I looked to the side to see the girl with Roman drop her tub of ice cream as she stared at us in shock.

I turned my head to Roman, who was also in shock as well.

" You mean... the bounty hunter that took down every criminal in....in..."

" In Mistral?" I finished for them as Roman sat up straight.

" Shit! This is bad!" He shouted.

I felt the sense of satisfaction of seeing this assholes expression.

( Yuto Pov )

" That fucker..." I cursed as I looked at the last page of the information.

Last seen: Jr's bar at 10:30 am.

It was 10:45, which meant the bastard had 15 minutes to run.

I teleported at the top of Jr's bar and easily entered the bar again through a window.

Bang!

" Where!?" I slammed Juniors head to the counter.

The man grunted as the counter cracked under my slam.

" Not speaking? This time, your life is the payment." I spoke as I unsheathed my hidden blade.

" Boss?" The henchmen gathered with their weapons as some of them shot at me.

[ Ding! Lucky chance! ]

Luck seemed to be on my side as every bullet missed or hit each other.

I looked down at Junior again as I inched the blade to his face.

" Tell them to fuck off...."

Before I could finish I caught the leg of the white dressed woman and threw across the floor and blocked the others claws.

I grabbed her grabbed her wrist and twisted it before throwing her to the ground.

" Where?" I asked calmly as I inched the blade to his throat.

" He just left!" He groaned as I let him go and was about to leave before cutting the bazooka in half.

" Don't even bother." I spoke as I left the bar again.

" He just left.... tsk." I looked at the moon outside as I heard a car driving away.

I tilted my head towards its direction.

I smiled as I climbed the rooftop and started chasing the car.

Thud!

I landed on the roof of the car as I felt the car starting to swerve.

I easily stuck to the car, and I stabbed my hidden blade through the roof before cutting it open.

I then lifted my hand and punched through the roof and caught Roman's collar as he was driving.

I lifted him up and smashed him to the roof.

" Roman! There you are!" I shouted as the car started to stabilize as I realized that his partner was handling the wheel.

I was shaking him around as I heard his shouts through the car, which made me smile.

I looked ahead to see an incoming truck, but I saw through the illusion as I kept my grip on Roman as the illusion shatter once the car ran through it.

' A semblance...' it was my first time seeing a person semblance in use as she started creating more illusions.

But soon after, I looked up to see an airship, which wasn't an illusion.

" She's here!" I heard Roman shout as he tried to escape my grip.

I frowned as I wondered who arrived.

The doors opened to reveal a spark.

" Fire." I muttered as I took the full brunt if the attack.

I finally remembered who this flame belonged to.

' Cinder, one of the maidens.' I thought as the flames died down as I was fine with smoke coming off of me.

" Now... I'm curious about you powers..." I smirked as I looked at the aircraft.
