After a long while, following their rather hesitant bathing ritual, the two women were finally brought to the room by Laura. Though August had not yet arrived, their task was clear: wait for him and be prepared for his attention.
Meanwhile, August, having spent some time bonding with the World Tree sapling, noticed that its growth had improved.
[Name: World Tree (Sapling)]
[Owner: August]
[Growth: Budding Stage (0.004%)]
[Innate Abilities: Space, Elemental Control, Devouring]
The expansion of his small world was becoming more and more noticeable. Each day, it seemed to evolve in significant ways. Today's massive hunt of magical beasts, which he had fed to the World Tree, provided it with essential nutrients that greatly boosted its development.
In just a few days, the growth had increased by 0.002%—a remarkable speed considering the immense power required for even the slightest progress.
Moreover, August had discovered something important: the World Tree sapling didn't thrive primarily on magic, but on nourishment.
In the world of High School DxD, even when Azazel had filled the sapling with two-thirds of his magical power, the growth had only increased by a mere 0.001%. This made it clear that magic alone wasn't enough to foster the tree's development.
Now, after hunting and offering numerous magical beasts, August had provided the sapling with vital nutrients, even though the magical energy of the beasts was not particularly high in quality.
He began to suspect that the flesh and blood of these magical beasts might actually be more effective as nourishment than their magical power alone.
"Hmm... magical beasts. It seems I need to take bolder steps," August muttered to himself.
Despite his growing power and the large Ghost Legion under his command, August was limited by the regions he could target for magical beast hunts. The pace at which he was progressing felt fast by most standards, but for August, it was still far too slow. A mere 0.001% increase in the World Tree's growth wasn't something he could be satisfied with.
This led him to devise a new plan—forming a Merchant Guild. By leveraging the adventurers in this world, he could gather magical beasts on a far larger scale.
August had already noticed that in this world, the corpses of magical beasts held little value. After adventurers harvested valuable parts such as pelts, scales, or teeth, the rest of the carcass was discarded.
With this in mind, August planned to open a guild specifically focused on collecting the remains of magical beasts.
As for the expenses? Money was never an issue. With the immense treasures within the Gate of Babylon, August had wealth beyond measure. Just by exchanging a few hundred gold coins, he had received over six million. If he were to tap into the gold, silver, and jewels within his treasure vault, money would never pose a problem.
Having settled on this plan, August decided to set it in motion soon. But that was for tomorrow—tonight, he had more pressing matters to attend to.
With that thought, he headed toward the room where Shianus and Rachnera awaited.
Returning to the manor, August found two figures waiting patiently in the room—Shianus, the centaur maiden, and Rachnera, the spider maiden. Both had been anticipating his arrival for some time.
"M-Master..." Shianus stammered nervously as she saw August enter. Her unease was evident.
"Master," Rachnera greeted him with much more composure. Unlike Shianus, Rachnera viewed being accepted by a man as a positive development. Though she lacked much real experience, her theoretical knowledge was vast, making her considerably more confident than the innocent Shianus.
Taking a glance at the hesitant Shianus, Rachnera made the first move. She stepped forward and knelt before August, her tall spider-like form folding gracefully as she tucked away her arachnid limbs. Even kneeling, her stature remained imposing, but her actions conveyed complete submission.
"You're going first, I see?" August observed with a satisfied smile.
"Master, let me serve you," Rachnera replied. Without hesitation, she began to undo the few pieces of fabric covering her body—clothes she had woven herself using her silk. While her lower half appeared intimidating due to her arachnid nature, her human upper body possessed a unique allure, creating a striking contrast that August found quite appealing.
Shianus, watching from the side, was stunned by her old rival's boldness. She felt a pang of envy, as she lacked the courage to take such an initiative.
Rachnera, with her head bowed in submission beneath August, was careful and deliberate in her actions. She was determined to please him, eager to win his favor and make no mistakes. August, appreciating her devotion, smiled as he witnessed her efforts to serve him.
What unfolded next was an intimate scene that Shianus couldn't tear her eyes away from, even though part of her wanted to. The sensual display before her stirred feelings within her that she tried to suppress, but the growing heat in the room made it impossible.
As time passed, Rachnera, now ready, let out a pained gasp as she offered her most precious gift to August, marking the first time she had been claimed by anyone.
August, experiencing the unique nature of a spider maiden for the first time, took her virginity, fully savoring the moment.
The atmosphere in the room began to shift, growing increasingly charged with desire. Soon, even Shianus found herself losing control, her initial hesitation fading into a haze of longing.
...
As the long night finally came to an end, a new day began. August woke early, smiling as he looked over the two magical maidens by his side—one a centaur, the other a spider maiden.
To be honest, the experience of being with these monster girls had been exhilarating, far more exciting than anything he had encountered before.
"Laura!" August called out.
With a soft creak, the door opened, and Laura entered the room. As his personal maid, she was always at the ready, even staying by the door while August slept, prepared to respond to his every need.
"Your Highness, how may I serve you?" she asked, bowing respectfully.
"When these two wake up, make sure to take care of them."
"Understood, Your Highness," Laura replied, her expression calm. Having personally served August in the past, she knew all too well just how powerful he was. Even though both Rachnera and Shianus were magical beings, it was their first time, and there was no way they could have fully handled the intensity of their night together.
After a quick wash and a light breakfast, August left his private world, setting off to pursue his new plans.
Today, he didn't intend to hunt magical beasts. Instead, he was ready to put into action the ideas that had come to him the night before.
Even though he was deep in the forest, getting out was no issue for him. With a leap, black wings of darkness unfolded from his back, propelling him into the sky. In moments, he spotted the nearest town and made a swift beeline toward it.
In less than ten minutes, August had left the dense forest behind and arrived at a bustling town. This town wasn't far from where Stank and the others were, but if one traveled on foot, it would take nearly two weeks to reach.
The town was far more prosperous than the one he had previously visited. The streets were filled with people, and the wide avenues buzzed with activity.
August didn't jump into action right away. Instead, he began scouting for his next target. If he planned to gather the corpses of magical beasts on a large scale, the first step was to secure a substantial amount of money. Without financial backing, even with an abundance of magical beasts, it would be impossible to see his plan through.
