Chapter 12: Seriously?

(Dante POV)

'Great Sage, is the calculation finished?' I asked the great sage as anticipation could clearly be seen in my eyes.

[Notice: 52 minutes and 50 seconds remaining.]

With a smile, I gaze at the time displayed on my phone, 5:07 A.M., 'The skill should be finished by 6 and school starts at 9. About 2 hours of roaming around the city trying to look for Sogiita.'

Yesterday I talked about not wasting time on school, but I changed my mind.

'I am pretty much sure I piqued Aleister's interest from all the shit I did. If I go to school now and use awakening my esper powers as an excuse when asked the reason was absent yesterday, there is a chance that he will pull strings to get me fully tested. If I succeed the sub-quests would be finished and all I need to do is look for Sogiita.' With a nod, I searched the web for information while waiting for Great Sage's notice.

'Naisu! Great Sage, ensure that Phase Shift remains active at all times. Only deactivate it if I explicitly request you to do so and you have verified that I am not under any form of mind control or manipulation.' With a smile, I thought about my main fighting style.

To ensure safety, I had Great Sage scan through my memories of anime characters with space-type powers.

Initially, I wanted to recreate Gojo's Infinity, but Great Sage determined it was impossible.

While I could recreate Infinity, I don't have an infinite amount of AIM energy to sustain the attacks it would block.

Although I could not reach my dream of becoming the Honored One, I settled with basing my barrier with Obito's Kamui.

Using Space Manipulation, Great Sage distorts the Space around my body making all harmful substances phase through me.

I actually don't know the specifics of my ability as that stuff is too complex for my high school-level brain.

All I know is that using Kamui as a base and how Accelerator's barrier works the Great Sage made Phase Shift.

A skill that would simply make me invulnerable unless the opponent wields Space Powers themselves.

With my defense covered, my primary offensive strategy revolves around unleashing a barrage of devastating attacks known as "Space Rend."

This technique involves tearing apart the fabric of space itself at targeted locations, resulting in this destructive and unblockable attack if you don't know space manipulation that is.

'With a barrier that phases me against all harmful substances, teleportation for movement, and an attack that rends space, I should be strong enough to roam around the Academic City.' With a smile, I walked towards the door and effortlessly passed through it.

As I walked towards the elevator, I heard the voice of a young girl complaining about how hungry she was.

Normally, such a complaint for a young girl would be normal but this is the boy's dormitory, there shouldn't be a young girl here.

'So Index is already with Touma, huh? I wonder what timeline it is right now. Hopefully, it is still in the early stages, I don't want to find myself on the war arcs already.' With such thoughts, I entered the elevator.

'Touma is not a bad person but he isn't suited for the Group Chat. The Chat is all about Gacha, good luck with his misfortune curse. And I don't want to run missions with him, it would probably be like being with Bennet in his adventure team.' With a shrug, I used the Academy Maps I installed on the phone.

Walking towards the direction of Tokiwadai Middle School, my gaze kept wandering around enjoying my first anime world.

'While I don't like Misaka and Shokuhou, I would at least want to see them once, after all this series is one of my favorites.' As I got closer to the Ojou-sama school, I saw a familiar chestnut-colored hair with a visor resting on its head from afar.

'A Misaka sister? Is the plot of the sisters already finished, or this is simply a coincidence?' With interest, I walked towards the direction the Misaka sister went through.

After a few minutes of observing the Misaka sister from a distance, she came to a halt upon encountering an androgynous man with white hair, clad in a black t-shirt.

'Accelerator is not wearing his choker. So it's still early in the story. I better dip the hell out of here before he notices me.' With that thought in mind, I changed directions as I started to return from where I came from.

'This would have been sweet if not for the AIM problems in other worlds. But nah, I need Sogiito not you.' With such thought a blast of wind Phased through my body.

"Hey, hey, hey, you think you can just stroll in and out whenever you please, huh?!" With a thug like voice, I heard Accelerator calling out to me.

'Fuck this guy locked into me. I'll pretend I did not hear that.' With such thoughts, I continued walking.

"Don't you dare ignore me, you punk! You think you can just walk away without consequences?! I'll teach you some manners!" Accelerator's voice dripped with malice as he unleashed his power, moving to intercept me with swift, aggressive motions.

'Ugh, really? As much as I'd love to test my abilities, I'm not about to tangle with that crazy. Time to make a swift exit.' With a click of my tongue, I directed Great Sage to teleport me repeatedly until I reached the safety of my room.

After the first teleportation, which was a kilometer away, I heard a massive explosion coming from the direction I teleported from.

'Fuck, that guy is crazy. Who uses that much of a power against a random bystander?' Such thoughts were on my mind as I got teleported 2 more times.

'Good thing, I already have Phase Shift or that wind blast might have taken me out. Fuck, it was my first time going out ffs. If this is fanfiction, I would've dropped a bad review. I mean who tf encounters a world boss on the first adventure? Fuck.' With another click of my tongue, I saw that it was already 8:30 A.M. making me sigh.

'Aight, time to just head to school. I swear if another crazy decides to block my path ffs.' With such thoughts, I phased through the door once again.
