Mr. Ostrich

In every boy’s heart lives a Ms. Crab, and in every girl’s memories, there lies a Mr. Ostrich. Ezekiel and Crissa grew up together, but an accident which left the former disabled at the age of six forever changed his life. Fortunately, Crissa—the seemingly-lazy gourmand—remained faithfully by her crippled friend’s side. That was, of course, until the tides turned, and Crissa tragically lost her Mr. Ostrich. Years passed, and a widespread picture book written by the pen name Mr. Ostrich flourished in popularity; mysterious and low-key, he used his unmatched, gentle and warm brush strokes to illustrate a story of youth. And thus, fully-grown Ms. Crab (now affluent and charming) had set out on a long journey to find her Mr. Ostrich.
