He don't mean to be rude but...
Even him that haven't brushed his teeth for days can't gather such green stench in his mouth because of all the talking he had done on the journey.
But them that everyone is sure of brushing their teeth daily is having green steam come out of their mouth? What are their toothpastes, greens?
Leo wiped his face, just so he knows he isn't dreaming. He stare again and he didn't see the green steam again.
Huh... Maybe he was temporarily blind then...
