The rumbling skies, accompanied by the heavy downpour, rang for miles. On a deserted road, an armored truck drove at a dangerous speed.
Deftly maneuvering past the destroyed vehicles, broken building structures, and even corpses, the truck continued its journey.
The beams of the headlight illuminated the dark place for several meters, giving the driver a good space to react in case something pops up.
"Damn! Damnit!" Christopher hissed, his fingers wrapping around the steering wheel tighter.
The sound of the leather and even the steel squeezing pierced Derek's ears. "Stop. You'll only destroy our last means of transport."
"I'll kill everything, every fucking nightmare!" Christopher roared, smashing his foot against the accelerator pedal, causing the truck to move even faster.
