10 CHAPTER-10

"HUH?? WHAT??!?" Bo Young exclaimed confused. "I can leave you at your house." He said. "Well, Umm, That is not necessary. I can walk by myself and it would be a bother for you. I will leave now." She said to him. "You sprain is actually serious. Just wait here. It is not. It is not a bother for me." He said to her in the same robotic expression. Bo Young thought: "Whatttt?? Is he thinking of leaving me at my house?? Omg am I dreaming? Gosh. Why is he being so kind??" "I will go in now. Wait till my shift finishes." He said to her and went inside. He didn't let her speak a word.

His shift finally ended. He came out after the next shift employee came. "Wait a minute. I will take my bike and comeback." He said to her and started to go. He then suddenly stopped. "Oh? I forgot! My friend asked it from me and didn't give it back. I will ask him." He said to her. She just kept nodding to everything. He called his friend and talked. He came back with a different look in his face than before. "Umm..It seems that he won't be able to return it now." He said. "Oh, It's okay. I will walk to home. You don't have to bother." She said. "I didn't finish speaking. I can leave you to your house." He said her. "Huh? How?" She asked confused. She thought: "Oh my, He is not giving up." "Umm, uhh, yeah!" He said and sat down partially like kneeling. "Why are you...kneeling down?" She asked being confused. "To give you a piggyback ride." He said firmly. "Pigg-Piggyback ride?? You don't have to..it's not that serious sunbae. I will just walk." She said being embarrassed. "Just do it, you are wasting time." He said. "Alright, alright. I will be heavy. Is it okay?" She warned. "I'm strong just get on my back." He said. "Okay." She said being fed up.

She finally got on his back. They didn't talk till they reached her house as it was awkward for them, except telling the directions. She had so many things running in her mind. She thought: "Woah, he is giving a lot of surprises. He looks cold but is kind hearted. If this keeps going I will get distracted. I shouldn't be like this anymore." "Oh, it's here." She said pointing to her house. He stopped and left her down gently. "Umm, Thank you. Oh, I almost forgot. Which direction should you go? Is it far from here?" She asked feeling sorry. "Nope, it's not far from here. It's the same street. I should just go straight." He said. "Oh. Oh? It's the same street? I haven't seen you when I leave and come back too." She said doubtfully. "You leave early. I've seen you many times. I come after you. Ok I will take my leave now." He said. "Oh really? Okay, thank you so much sunbae. Be careful on your way." She said and turned to go. "Oh, And you weren't heavy. You seemed light." He said and left. She stopped there and turned back. She smiled and went back home.

A week passed just like that. But one thing had Bo Young in doubt. She didn't see Yeon Joon, in the past week. It was morning again. "Aaaahh, I don't wanna go school. Uff, I'm sorry tired. Thank you mom, after those two days I didn't bump into them." She said and sat up hastily. She got ready and went down. " Let's wai- no let's not get distracted and leave." She started to leave. "You aren't early today." Somebody said. She stopped there and turned to look. "Oh, Hyun Wook sunbae. This is my regular time." She said. "Oh, really? Guess I'm early today. Did you sleep well yesterday?" He asked. "Yeah. Did you get home safe?" She asked back. "Yeah." He said. They were silent at first but then Hyun Wook started to chat first. "I haven't seen you here before you came to this school. Were you somewhere else?" He asked. "Umm, Yeah I wasn't living here. How did you notice that?" She asked. "Well, if you lived here I would've seen you in other school's uniform. Adding to that, the place you live in right now is a little expensive and the school too. You seem to live a luxurious life but work in a part time job, why?" He asked after a lot of explaining. "My circumstances are like that now. I don't think, being in a pitiful position is a good thing. So I show my best everywhere. What about you sunbae? Were you living here for a long time or no?" She asked.

"I was in Busan, but my education after middle school wasn't good there. So I transferred here in the middle. My dream was also related to this school. So, I preferred here." He said and they kept talking until they reached the school. They reached the hallway where they had to go in different directions. "Then, I will see you later sunbae. Bye." She said to him and turned back. "Oh, I forgot, how is your leg now ?" He asked. "Oh, you didn't notice? I was limping all the way coming here now. I guess it is still the same. I will take care of it sunbae, don't worry. I will go now. Bye." She said and left limping. He waved his hand and looked at her leave. "Hyun Wook, you have been coming early for past few days. Why are you standing here? Let's go." Dong Hoon said standing behind him. "Oh, Yeah. Let's go." Hyun Wook said and left soon.

Ha Sang was watching the whole scene. He thought: "Tsk, she just joined the school and is flirting with people huh? But.... She is still limping?" He said and then proceeded to class. He entered the class. "Bo Young! Here, here!" Ji Ae called her. Bo Young limped and went towards her seat. "Are you okay, now?" Ji Ae asked her. "Umm, Nope. It's still the same." Bo Young told. "What? Really?" Ji Ae asked. "OMG, It's because of these brats."Ji Ae said and glared at the HF girls. "Why are you looking at us? We don't know what you are talking about." Soo Ki said. "You guys can't even remember? Woah, you guys are really unbelievable. It was all because-" Ji Ae yelled and got cut off. "Okay, okay, leave it. It's okay now. I will take care of it. Now stop arguing." Bo Young said. "Don't keep telling that you are fine. It's been a week and you have been saying that you alright all the time I ask. But still it's not gone." Ji Ae yelled at her. Bo Young opened her mouth to talk back but then just sighed.

"Ms. Han has come, Ms.Han has come." Someone said. "Attention. Greet." Bo Young stood and said. "Hello, teacher." Every student said chorally. Bo Young thought while standing: "Ouch, my leg is paining a lot. Let's endure this." She finally did it and sat down again. She couldn't bear the pain. But she didn't show it outside too. She had the morning classes inside her classroom. She didn't have any vocal training or dance practice in the morning. It was break time. "Bo Young, let's go see Yu Ah." Ji Ae said. "Oh, sure. But one thing. As soon as we go see her. You should tell what happened between you and Yeong Hyun as the first thing, okay? You haven't told anything about it." Bo Young asked. "Yeah, definitely." Ji Ae said smiling brightly. Bo Young stood up and stood on both of her legs, but she lost balance and sat on the chair again. "Ouch." Bo Young whined. "Are you okay, this is too bad." Ji Ae asked. "Yeah, Yeah I just lost balance. Nothing else. Now let's go." She said and went with Ji Ae. As she was walking, the pain increased in her leg. Bo Young put her hand in Ji Ae's shoulder for support, as she could feel the pain increase, she squeezed Ji Ae's shoulder. "You are doing it again with full force. Let's go to the infirmary." Ji Ae said looking at her worriedly. "No, no let's see Yu Ah first. We haven't seen her for past few days." Bo Young said while smiling. "No, we will see her later. Now we must go to the infirmary." Ji Ae insisted. "But, Yu Ah will-"Bo Young wasn't let to finish her sentence until Ji Ae shushed her. They both reached the infirmary.

Meanwhile, Yu Ah went in search of them, when they were going to the infirmary. Yu Ah first went to their class. "Umm, hey, where is Ji Ae and Bo Young?" She asked to a student in Ji Ae's class. "I think they came to find you." The student replied. "Ooh, Ok. Thanks." Yu Ah said and left confused. She then went to her class and asked her classmate. "Did Ji Ae come here?" She asked to a classmate. "I saw her coming towards our class but they turned back and left." Another student from the class who noticed them leaving said. "Really? Strange." She said and started walking through the hallway. She thought: "They came to find me and left again? They might have some other work. But, Ji Ae won't leave me alone. Let me ask them through the group chat." She texted: "Where are you guys??"

She sent the text and kept staring at it for a while. "Why aren't they replying? Oh! They both read it." They finally replied but Ji Ae and Bo Young had different answers.

"Yu Ah, me and Bo Young are going to the infirmary. Come here."

"We are in the restroom. Will come to you soon."

"Yu Ah, Don't hear what Bo Young said now. She is lying. Come here soon."

She read all the conversation and stood there confused. "Infirmary? Why are they there?" She said and put her phone in the pocket of her jacket and left to the infirmary.

While Yu Ah texted them asking where they were, Ji Ae and Bo Young were inside the infirmary. *Ting* Both of their notifications rang. "It's Yu Ah." Ji Ae told. Both of them were texting intensely to reply. They both sent the text. Seeing Bo Young's reply Ji Ae got mad. "Bo Young!!!!! Don't Lie!!" Ji Ae said. Bo Young pouted. "Yu Ah will come here soon. Don't you dare move a finger till she comes." Ji Ae ordered her. "Alright, alright. Understood." Bo Young said whimpering. "Good girl. Now wait, I will go call Ms.Kang." Ji Ae said and left.

"Oh! Yu Ah is here." Bo Young said. "Yeah, Why are you guys here? Where is Ji Ae?" Yu Ah asked. "Oh, That is..." Bo Young hesitated. "Yu Ah! You are here?" Ji Ae said while coming from another side of the infirmary. "Yeah but why are you guys here?" Yu Ah asked. "Bo Young sprained her leg." Ji Ae said looking at Bo Young. "Sprained? But it is only sprain right, why bother treating it by coming to the infirmary?" Yu Ah asked. "That's right Yu Ah, Ji Ae doesn't stop bringing me to the infirmary." Bo Young said. "You, shut your mouth. What you guys are telling is true but it's been there for a week and she can't even bear the pain." Ji Ae said Bo Young to be quiet and said this to Yu Ah. "A week with so much pain?? You did a great job Ji Ae." Yu Ah said giving a thumbs up to Ji Ae. "W-what? C'mon, I thought you were on my side." Bo Young said. "The worst thing is it was caused by the HF brats and the other thing is she hid it from me till I found out she had a sprain." Ji Ae said. Yu Ah looked in disbelief at Bo Young. "You shouldn't do like that to Ji Ae. Ji Ae hates it if somebody does that. Especially between friends." Yu Ah said to Bo Young.

"Alright, Alright. What's all this fuss huh?" Ms.Kang entered the conversation. Everyone bowed and greeted her. Ms.Kang took a seat in front of Bo Young. "What is the problem now?" Ms.Kang asked. "I have been having this sprain for a week. It's nothing actually Ms.Kang." Bo Young looking at her afraid. "Nothing? A sprain can't last for a week with that much pain and you call that nothing? Okay, now what did you exactly do to get hurt like this?" Ms.Kang asked her while examining her injury. Bo Young looked at Ji Ae and Yu Ah. "Why are you looking at us? Tell yourself." Yu Ah said. "Alright. I fell down while bumping into someone." Bo Young said. "Tsk tsk, you should have been careful." Ms.Kang said. "No Ms.Kang it's not her fault. She didn't bump into them but they bumped into her, which made her tumble and fall." Ji Ae said. "Really? You have been having bad luck since you joined here." Ms.Kang said. Bo Young thought: "Not just since I joined here but since a long time. I guess I was born in a bad time. Sigh, what did I-" "OUCH!!!!!!! It hurts." Bo Young shrieked. "Does it hurt?" Ms.Kang asked putting pressure in the place Bo Young had her sprain.

"Ow, ow, ouch. It hurts." Bo Young told not being able bear the pain. Bo Young is actually someone who will not show the pain but this physical pain was something different to her. "Woah, this is bad." Ms.Kang said while shaking her head. "Why? Is it something severe?" Yu Ah asked. "Actually it is not a sprain. It's a mild fracture." Ms.Kang said. "What? Mild fracture?" Ji Ae and Yu Ah asked being really dismayed. "How are you not shocked? And it's you who has mild fracture." Ji Ae asked being stunned. "I don't know, and I have had more than this, so..." Bo Young said. "Huh?-" Yu Ah asked being confused. "Bo Young, tell me without lying did you take care of your leg when I left you that day?" Ji Ae asked. "Huh? Yea, yeah! Definitely I did take care of it!" Bo Young said enthusiastically but those were all lies. "Lies~~." Yu Ah said. "No, I rea- alright I will accept it. I didn't take care of it." Bo Young said being fed up. "Sigh, you really don't know to take care of you right?" Ji Ae asked. "What are you talking about? I have been taking care of myself all these years by myself!! I really thought this was just a sprain." Bo Young said angrily.

"Alright, Alright! Now stop arguing. Here, Bo Young, now listen to me well. I will put a cast around it to prevent from having it become even more severe." Ms.Kang told and went inside to bring the needed materials. "Sigh, look at the condition you are in now. The day when you joined you were someone who turned everyone's attention towards you because of how you look but now you are going to have everyone's attention because of the cast in your leg. Tsk tsk, such a pity to watch you like this." Ji Ae said. "It's nothing big though. And from the day I got to know you guys, you girls always talked about my appearance. Tell me honestly, are you girls hanging out with me for that?" Bo Young asked suspiciously. "What is this girl talking about? Bo Young, if we just wanted to hang out with you for your looks, we wouldn't have told you our secrets either." Yu Ah said. "Oh right, how did you guys get the courage so easily to tell your secrets to me? And I barely know you guys for a week." Bo Young added. "We don't know too. We got the feeling that you are someone who people are rely on with their life. And how did you get so comfortable with us? When I first saw you I thought you were so complicated. I thought you were as cold and gloomy as you look. But that's totally wrong." Ji Ae said. "Really? I felt the same too. I get comfortable with people easily if they act like themselves with me. But I never thought you had this kind of impression on me. Interesting." Bo Young said.

"I'm here." Ms.Kang said while having a couple of instruments in her hand for putting the cast. She came sat down in front of her and started doing the procedures. "Let this be there for a week. Always have someone to hold you. You won't be able to walk on you own. Do you walk home or someone is there to pick you up?" Ms.Kang said her some instructions and asked. "I walk home. I will take care of it Ms.Kang." Bo Young assured. "Alright, this is a small cast yet it prevents some disaster, so don't take it lightly and take care of yourself well. Do you have someone to take care of it at home?" Ms.Kang asked. "I can take care of myself and I did it for a long time now, I will be okay, Ms.Kang." Bo Young assured. "Okay, done. You guys can leave now. Take care." "Yes Ms.Kang. Thank you." Bo Young said. Ms.Kang thought: "I should talk to her homeroom teacher, Bo Young has something going on with her." The other two girls thanked and left the infirmary. While coming out of the infirmary they saw Ha Sang. "Woah, we are walking past the hazard sign. It hurts a lot right Bo Young." Ji Ae mocked as he walked by. "Yeah, some people should be careful with what is happening around them." Yu Ah joined Ji Ae too. "What are you guys talking about?" Bo Young asked. Ha Sang looked at them in confused manner and went inside the infirmary. All this time Bo Young was walking with the help of Ji Ae and Yu Ah. "It's nothing, we wanted to give someone a taste of how it feels like to hurt someone." Ji Ae said. "To who? Oh, I almost forgot. You never told me what happened between you and Yeong Hyun." Bo Young asked. "There she goes again, coming back to that topic again." Ji Ae told with a sad face. "Why? Did he ask something that hurt you? If that is the case let me go, I will go punch his face." Yu Ah said. "No, actually it was a great thing!!!" Ji Ae suddenly changed to a bright smile.

"Really? What happened?" Bo Young asked eagerly. "Actually....."
