Chapter 1

Mayogi Soba is a small-town hero in Emerald Neverland. She is known to be really sweet to everyone. Well, except to villains/bad guys. She was an inspiring individual to all people. When she was 10 years old, her mother, Naomi Soba, was viciously attacked by a tiger. "Mayogi! Don't fight the beast! Just run away! Go get help!" She didn't want her young daughter fighting a beast. But Mayogi didn't listen.

"I am not going to leave you like this! I want to be a hero! I want to be YOUR hero!" Mayogi saved her mother by stabbing the beast in the back and through its chest and its heart flew out of its chest. Naomi wasn't hurt too bad. She had a few scrapes and scratches. Mayogi got scarred before she killed the beast. She had 3 tiger claw scars on her face. "Mayogi! Are you okay sweetheart?" Naomi said while running to her young daughter. Mayogi struggled to get up. "I'm okay. Are you okay mom?" After checking themselves, they went home to rest.

Mayogi always despised her father, Mazoku Soba. He did most of the crime in the town. He has been in jail ever since Mayogi was 11 years old. Ever since Mazoku went to jail, a lot of crime has been happening. Mazoku was like the Mob Boss in Emerald Neverland. He had known every gangster in the whole town. Once all the gangsters found out that he went to jail, they started to wreak havoc and chaos. People were being attacked. Mayogi and Naomi were always there to stop it. Mayogi is self-taught, meaning she taught herself everything to herself. She never went to school because she would always be helping her mother, saving people, and hunting for food.

At the age of 14, Naomi and Mayogi were walking in the woods and a group of villains attacked them. Mayogi tried her best to keep her mother and herself safe. Unfortunately, Naomi was beaten to death. She was stabbed, burned, kicked, and punched until blood spurted out. Mayogi ran to her mother crying and held her in her arms. "Mom!" she screamed as loud as can be. "Please wake up! I'm begging you!" With Naomi not responding, Mayogi dug a hole in the ground and buried her mom. "Rest in Peace Naomi Soba. I love you." Mayogi carved on a big rock.

3 years after her mother's death, Mayogi met a boy named Nagisa Jirou. They dated for months until Nagisa's suicidal death. They were arguing non-stop. Mayogi didn't want to leave Nagisa because she wanted to help him. Nagisa killed himself when Mayogi went out to hunt for food. She came back home to see Nagisa on the floor, stretched out, cuts and bruises on his neck, and blood coming out of his mouth. Mayogi ran to her boyfriend crying, yelling out, "Nagisa! Please don't die on me! I can't lose you, too!" Mayogi picked up Nagisa and flew fast in the air. "Please stay awake for me Nagisa. We are almost at the hospital." Mayogi says panicking. Nagisa, who speaks incoherently, tries to tell Mayogi to let him die. Finally, they reached the hospital, but... it was too late. Nagisa died in her arms. Mayogi had an instant flashback of her mother dying in her arms.

After suffering the loss of her beloved boyfriend, Mayogi went out saving people from villains and burning and falling buildings.
