CHAPTER 5

[April 12th, 2010. Needles, California]

Andrew was inside a Motel room.

He was laying on the bed and watching the TV.

"It has been 4 days since the escape of Andrew Clark, who was jailed for the murder of his wife and daughter, Emma and Isabella. He is also a smuggler who has used the body of all innocents that he had killed as a carrier for drugs that have been brought to our country. Andrew is wanted for 27 counts of murder excluding his wife and daughter and is extremely dangerous. If you see him, do not engage and call the local police. I will say this again, he is extremely dangerous."

"On the other Hand, the Billionaire Tony Stark has not yet been found. There is no news from the Stark Industries and no clue on whether he is alive or not..."

Andrew muted the Television.

'I am wanted for a total of 29 murders, well played Damon. They must have given the police all the information regarding the mission and must have left out the detail of who started this mission. That fucking CIA Prick, Yellow' (A/N: He is not Orange from Punisher)

'Every single bastard that I called comrade in that mission is in on this otherwise they would have already let the world know that I am not what they say, or they must have been silenced like me and since the count has increased that means they must have included the ones who did not go with the way they wanted it to be. I remember that in the mission we killed 19 of them, which means 8 of them refused or stood up just like me and they were silenced or they were completely different murders pinned on me.'

He was browsing the laptop available in the room and searched for the names of the ones in the mission and found out 8 were killed and they were included in his counts of murder. They had staged the scene in a way that let them know I was the murderer and Damon attesting to it as well.

'There was a total of 16 of them in the mission that took place in Afghanistan, and Iraq, and now 8 are dead and I have escaped, in the rest 7 there is Damon, Brent, Jacob, Revon, Trich, Adrian, and Zavez, now I have to find where they all are and need to know whether they are in on this or have joined due to threats that may have posed by Damon, General and Yellow'

'I have to move from here they will soon find this location with the cameras and with searching their names it could have alerted them. I have to learn more about Coding, Networks, Security, and Hacking, or I have to find someone who would know this but that will not be an option due to the position I am in as no one would even bother with me due to the Brand that has been put on me, maybe that guy, Barton…'

Andrew felt as if a jolt passed through him but he suppressed the thought.

"How did I forget about Barton? He should be able to help me but this is not an option either. I will be forced to work again and if they know about what I can do right now, I don't even want to imagine about it," uttered Andrew.

Somewhere in New York on the day, Andrew escaped.

"I am telling you he is not someone who will do this kind of thing, he is being framed," uttered a man with a bit of red in his black hair and he has blue eyes was talking to a man who was wearing a black suit and had no hair in his head depicting he is bald and he was wearing an eye-patch on his left eye.

"What if you are wrong and he killed his family? What do we do then, Barton?"

"He did not, he would do anything for his family just like me, I have shown you what happened," said Barton seriously.

"I know him, trust me on this we have to save him. He will have gratitude for what you did and will join us if you ask him to," said Barton but he felt disappointed in himself when he uttered the last sentence.

The Eye-Patch man was still contemplating whether to do this or not.

A knock came on the door with a robotic voice following it, "Agent Hill is requesting to see you,"

"Let her in"

Soon a gorgeous figure entered in a black suit which complimented her black hair and brown eyes. Her face showed the intelligence that she has and also the seriousness of the issue that she was bringing with her.

She could feel the tension in the room and felt the anger in Barton that is constantly growing.

She then saw files and photos displayed on the table in front of Nick Fury and in one of the photos she could see the face of Andrew which she recognized.

"You know him?" she questioned.

Both of them did not say anything but Barton nodded.

"He has just escaped from Prison," said Hill.

Both of them in the room were shocked but Barton was the more shocked one.

There is a reason why Barton is emotional in this. When he was allowed to go on a vacation he had brought his family with him but unexpectedly there was a heist when Barton was outside and it was Andrew who had saved the hostages which included his family. He then interacted with Andrew and came to know about him. He was kind man, who loved his family and country. He had then extended his private number to Andrew in case if he ever requires any help. Since that day Barton has always kept tabs on Andrew and he decided that when he needs help, he would do it. But what he did not expect was to hear the news of Andrew murdering his wife and daughter which shook him. He knew Andrew would never do that and realized that a conspiracy should have taken place.

His wife also called and asked whether it was true or not.

It only took him a few hours to know what had happened and was shook to his core to learn what had happened.

He was disgusted to learn what the CIA had done and the Damon guy, who Andrew considered a brother is also a reason for all of this.

He had stormed out of his room and gone straight to Fury and showed him all the documents but for some reason, The Eye-Patch guy questioned, "What if you are wrong and he killed his family? What do we do then, Barton?"

He had shown that he was framed and yet he asked me this.

'Something is wrong but right now I need his help' Barton gritted his teeth and continued the talk.

Then when Hill came in and told that Andrew had escaped, he decided he will do anything to help him as he would be vulnerable at this moment.

"I am going, Fury"

"Barton, I order you to stop," Fury said.

Barton was in disbelief when he heard Fury tell him to stop.

He turned to see Fury's sigh.

"Why?" asked Barton with confusion.

"I need you to find Tony Stark along with Maria. Focus on this. Since Andrew had escaped, he will contact you if he needs help, and don't bother with the proof you have shown me"

Anger rose in Barton's heart and he said, "I made a promise and I intend to keep it."

"Keep it when he asks for it, he will contact you if he needs it if not that means he can take care of himself," said Fury to the disbelief of Hill and Barton.

"Why not let Barton help him? He is a great asset and with all the proof that Barton has shown to you he will willingly join SHIELD if you give him what he needs," said Hill hoping Fury will accept.

If he does not, she knows the relationship between him and Barton will be in the nick of destruction.

Barton had already made a decision like this when he had brought in a rogue agent from Russia. He was sent to kill her but he did not because he let his heart decide.

She did not feel that was wrong as she could see the usefulness that the female agent would bring and she is also dead set on making her name to be cleared.

But this time even Hill wanted to help Andrew not because she knew him or anything but due to all the proof that she had seen that he was used as a scapegoat for some greedy bastards and the thought of one day losing her own family if she had one in the future frightened her.

Fury on the other hand started to contemplate whether to help Andrew or not after Maria's word. Even he knew that Andrew will be a great asset to SHIELD if nurtured properly. But the issue is that Andrew is already a lost cause. Even if he does provide the manpower to Barton to help him, what troubles Fury is, what if Andrew decides to end his life after his revenge.

Will Fury provide the manpower for Barton to help Andrew?

Will they come to know of the powers and abilities that Andrew has been given?

Will Andrew's revenge be over before it even begins?

Does Andrew have the capabilities to destroy the footage of his power being captured on cameras from now on?
