Markus fits into the cliche of your “not so average teenager”. For one, his father served for ten years in the military. So he spent much of his childhood on the base his father was stationed at. Secondly, after his father passed away he was sent to live with his dad’s friend, Dan. But, Markus quickly finds out that his father had more secrets than he let on.
