Chapter 25

Upon entering New York, Traeger paused to permit Warrior to sail past. "Next time, try not to mess with ice." She said. "As if I had a choice in the matter." Warrior replied with an amused chuckle. Traeger bid the old ship farewell and set her sights upon Norfolk. While doing so she had the distinct feeling of being watched and halted several times trying to find the source of her insecurity. She was almost certain it was a submarine. But without a visual sighting of a periscope she could not be sure. It could've been a drone for all she knew. Wouldn't be the first time the Pentagon had tested its new toys on unsuspecting ships. It wasn't until she passed through the Chesapeake Bay that she got her answer.
