He got shot severally by security guards, died, and found himself in the body of a white-haired twenty-one-year-old barbarian prince, dressed in animal skin and carried on top of a four-legged wooden stool by servants. He was taken into the midst of a thousand savages, chanting "Marcello!"
Worse, they placed him in front of the Barbarian King who beheaded three people over his excitement for his seventh son who had super powers. He called him 'Descendant from Odin'
Argyle, now Prince Marcello who was fear-driven and didn't know what the hell was going on, was asked to exhibit his powers since he was the first of their kind to have magical powers.
"Fuck all ya!" He yelled, giving the Barbarian King his middle finger, and they laughed and cheered at this, thinking it was some sort of magical language.
Shifting his gaze to some savages eating fly-perched bloodied meat, his stomach churned.
"I wanna go home!" He wailed and immediately a fire arrow from afar got shot into his chest and there was an uproar from the crowd. Turned out they were being attacked by their enemies and they broke out into a war.
Prince Marcello took out the arrow from his burning and wounded chest, only to find himself healed within seconds. His eyes widened in absolute unbelief but he knew he had no time to waste, he needed to head back home, so he tried to escape because he wanted to be as far away from them as possible until he saw himself flying in the air with giant wings.
Frightened to the bone, he tried to stop it and accidentally crashed into a moving vehicle on the road, damaging it in the process.
"Thankfully, it ain't ancient time." He murmured under his breath as he maintained eye contact with the tour journalists who stared back at him with raised eyes and gaped mouths.
They took him to civilization and after visiting his grave and crying for some time over his death, he was left with two alternatives. Start afresh as Marcello or return to the previous life of his old body. But he could pick neither of the two because weird things always happened and he found himself in the midst of it all, recusing lives and helping people instead of stealing. Worse, the national security team was after him after figuring out he had super powers.
