Hidden
"What are you so nervous about?" Elder Quin whispered after noticing Lou ShenRu's face. He raised his brows in confusion after his grandson looked like a frightened cat.
"Grandfather! You will give me a heart attack!" Lou ShenRu was grabbing his chest, afraid that his heart might jump out.
"I didn't do anything. You're the one who's daydreaming. Come on, don't waste time. We just need to take something then we will leave this room." Elder Quin quickly explained.
Lou ShenRu shook is head in disappointment. He wrinkled his brows while he looked around. "She's not in here?" He thought he'd see YuYan hiding in the secret chamber.
"Of course not! This is a secret place that has been kept by our family for the longest time. So you must not tell anyone about it." The old man reminded with a threatening voice.
"Then why are we here? You promised me earlier that you will tell me where to find the girl." Lou ShenRu began to complain. Thinking that he is just wasting his time.
"Why are you so anxious? I will tell you where's her hiding place after this. Stay here and don't come closer to the bed." Elder Quin said while he turned around to face the bed.
Lou ShenRu turned to his grandfather with a curious look. "Why? What's in it?"
"You ask too much! Just keep quiet and stay here! Don't wait for the demon to wake up!" The old man said with impatience in his voice.
Lou ShenRu: "..."
'Does this old man think that he can scare me? I'm no longer a child that you can scare!' Lou ShenRu can only complain in his heart. He won't dare to say a word, fearful of the old man getting angry.
He clearly remembered his grandfather always used this reason to scare him when he and Mo YuMin were still a child to prevent them from touching the antiques or explore the whole place.
Although he has a lot of questions, Lou ShenRu knows that as long as his grandfather would never tell voluntarily, he won't get an answer. He believes that his grandfather will tell him everything when the time is right.
Therefore, Lou ShenRu stayed on the same spot and waited quietly while watching his grandfather who is slowly approaching the bed.
He watched as Elder Quin opened the curtain, just enough for him to extend his arm and took something inside. Then placed it inside an old box that suddenly materialized on his hands.
Lou ShenRu felt curious, he wondered what it was but he can't see the old man's expression. And he doesn't know where the box came from.
Afterwards, the old man stood up staring inside the curtain. He just stood on the same spot for five minutes but didn't say a word. He went back to Lou ShenRu. He extended his arms, giving him the box.
Lou ShenRu looked at the box and before he can speak Elder Quin said the words "Give this to the second young master. Never open it. He knows what to do."
Second young master? Is it related to the family? Does the first young master know about this?
He opened his mouth but he did not speak. Lou ShenRu is getting more curious while he looked back to the bed and wondered what lies behind the bed's curtain.
Turning his attention back to the box, Lou ShenRu wonders what's in the box. After hearing those words from the old man, he just thought: 'is it related to the little girl?'
Having those questions in his heart, he silently took the box. He can only nod and suppress his eagerness to ask questions until they left the room.
While walking down the stairs, he suddenly turned to look up at the stairs. He realized that they went up the second floor but they've entered a door with stairs going down that seemed like a basement
Lou ShenRu: "..." How is it possible?
Lou ShenRu looked around and into the walls trying to understand the institution of the place. He felt weird. He looked at the old man who just went ahead him.
He finally decided, he wanted to ask about it. He was about to open his mouth when his phone rings, interrupting his thoughts.
His brows wrinkling, Lou ShenRu can only delay asking these things because he needs to answer the phone.
Looking at the screen, his hands trembled while his heart began jumping like a rabbit as he was about to press the button to answer the call.
Seeing the first young master Mo YuMin's name on the phone screen made him feel frightened. It was very rare for him to call using his own phone number unless it's urgent.
Lou ShenRu: "!!!" Am I going to die?
Trepidation immediately covered his heart but he tried hard to calm himself, steadying his voice like it was just a normal call. It was a quick call and he can only say two words, "I understand."
