Two Ingredients

(I have to find some way to fix this even if my transmigration has already changed, the plot changing too much will throw the entire world's future off course. I don't want to be the only one who carries the burden of saving the world.) Stewart thought, panicking. Stewart went to a cafe across the street from the blackthorn security company, ordered a coffee and waited.

6:00 pm

Stewart saw Daly leave the building containing the blackthorn security company. (What should I do, Daly most likely already saw the note the Damage is done even if I get the note I won't be able to fix anything… Well I just have to make sure that Klein dies in that fight, no one notices that Klein didn't leave a characteristic, and make sure Klein keeps his motivation for revenge.) Stewart thought, sighing. (why did I sit here for so long anyways? I couldn't do anything anyway and I've sat here all afternoon and so some workers have been giving me weird looks.) Stewart finally left the cafe to the relief of some of the workers. Stewart headed to a nearby restaurant and had a simple dinner then returned to the hotel near the train station and went to bed.

May 29th Year 1349 5th Epoch , Tingen

Stewart woke up as normal, got dressed and went to the first floor of the inn for breakfast. After finishing breakfast Stewart found a coachman that was willing to bring him to Barron Lamud's territory for a price. It was already the afternoon when the carriage arrived in Barron Lamud's territory. Stewart got off the carriage stretched and paid the driver. Stewart looked around and saw the hill that Barron Lamud's mansion was on, Stewart smiled and thought. (Mr. Azik I'm sorry but your son's resting place is the only safe tomb I can think of. Please forgive me entering, I won't take your son's skull like Ince will but I'm still sorry.) After justifying his actions to himself he walked toward the town under the hill. (Wow, no one is guarding the old mansion. If this was in my old world an ancient site like this would be protected, but I guess times are different here.) Stewart thought as he walked into the town. Stewart bought some food and a few plates and a suitcase to put them in then went up the path to the mansion.

Stewart finally arrived at the gate to the mansion courtyard even thought the mansion was abandoned Stewart could guess how glorious this mansion was when it was still in use during Mr. Azik's first life just by the sheer scale of the ruin. Stewart entered the mansion and did the step that Klein would do in the future to open the hidden room. After successfully getting in the hidden room Stewart opened his glass wing to pin the scarab's down if there were any. Stewart also had to make sure that he didn't damage the shell since the recipe he received didn't specify if the shell needed to be undamaged. Stewart then used the black glass tulip to activate spirit vision, and indeed there were tomb dwelling ancient scarab's.

Stewart looked around the hidden room and picked one that was at a good angle to him. (1) Stewart thought as he pointed at the sliver between the scarab's shell and the room's wall. A glass feather quickly shot out and hit the underside of the scarab as the other scarab's in the room scattered and crawled into cracks in the wall. Stewart walked toward the scarab that had been hit to check. (Yup it's dead and yup it's whole there is only a tiny scratch on the side I'm sure that won't affect the potion.) Stewart thought as he summoned the gate of glass and put the dead scarab on a table in the courtyard.

(I really didn't prepare for this, I didn't even bring a container for the dust.) Stewart thought. (I might be able to buy one in the town under the hill. I'll come back tomorrow.) Before leaving Stewart took out the plates and food from his suitcase and placed them in front of Mr. Azik's son's coffin and said. "Sorry for entering uninvited, please don't give me weird nightmares." After saying this Stewart exited the hidden room and closed the hidden room and went back to the town under the hill to have dinner and found an inn to rest for the night.

May 30th Year 1349 5th Epoch , Barron Lamud's territory

Stewart woke up without any accidents and thought. (Huh the offering's actually worked Mr. Azik's son didn't give me any nightmares.) Stewart got up and went to the first floor of the inn for breakfast. After having a very normal meal he headed outside and bought a little brass tube to contain the dust. Stewart once again went up the hill and into the mansion's secret room. Just as Stewart put the dust in the brass tube he heard the sound of a magpie's call slowly getting louder. (Oh not this again.) Stewart thought as he quickly closed the hidden room and hid in the garden of glass.

(This is really getting old… what are those birds anyway… AND why do they keep following me and attacking me.) Stewart thought as he sat leaning against the door breathing heavily trying to calm his heart which was beating extremely quickly for nervousness. (I have to find a way to get stronger quicker than those birds do or else the power gap between us will become even bigger. Why didn't the book mention anyone like this? Even if this character isn't a major character in the plot, someone this strong should still be mentioned. Me transmigrating shouldn't make such a large butterfly effect and not to mention this change happened before I transmigrated. Also why hasn't the twilight hermit order done anything about this person or does he not affect the future they want that much.) Stewart shook his head shaking out all these messy thoughts.
