Another Transmigrator

Stewart finished his dinner, looked around and noticed that his house was gathering dust. (Do I need to hire a maid? No… being a beyonder is way too costly. I can't spend money on something so trivial, now that I think about it I should go back to Desi bay to see how Luna and Lisa are doing and how much money they have made. I'll do that tomorrow.) Stewart waited for Xio's arrival.

Xio arrived three minutes after 7 and knocked on the door, Stewart picked up the magical item he had already put in a box and walked to the door. "Here's your magical item, the spiritual material you brought me is most likely a main ingredient for the hunter pathways sequence 8 provoker's potion." Stewart said, opening the box. Xio looked at the light red glass gem inside the box, Stewart quickly closed the box. Xio looked up and asked Stewart. "What are its effects and how long can it be used?" Stewart gave a polite smile and explained. "This magical item can still be used for one and a half years but you should be careful not to damage it because its negative effect is that its duration will be lowered if damaged." Xio furrowed her brow a bit since she never heard of a magical item with a similar effect. "Its main effect is that anyone who looks at the gem will get an urge to attack the person holding the gem or the gem itself. It is very easily sealed though all you have to do is keep it in a light less darkness."

Xio looked at the box in intrigue and said, "Alright I'll try it later, and if it works I'll bring you the creeping vine as soon as possible, when you want to begin your career as a bounty hunter go to my east borough apartment in the morning since I go there almost everyday right now." Stewart nodded and replied. "I hope to see you again very soon Miss Dere, and I wish you a very pleasant evening." Xio looked at Stewart who was still holding a polite smile, grabbed the box containing the sealed artifact and left. Stewart closed the door after she left. (Well that's that.) Stewart thought as he went to the second floor to wash up.

June 1st Year 1349 5th Epoch , Backlund

Stewart woke up and had a quick breakfast. (I'll go back to Desi bay to see how things are going there right now.) Stewart thought as he entered the garden of glass. Stewart returned to the set location at Desi bay and exited the Garden of glass. Stewart heard that Luna and Lisa were having a conversation upstairs, Stewart curious what they were talking about snuck up the stairs and pressed his ear against the door. Even though he only heard part of the conversation, the contents of the conversation shocked him. "What do you think we should do?" one asked. "We can't really just stay here like this, if we don't get stronger or explore the world a bit more we will never be able to find a clue of how we came to this world in the first place." the other replied. "Well leaving is the problem. The person that saved us might represent the mentor character in stories we've read in our past lives in our old world but he is never here and we can't leave this shop if it isn't for food or walks." the first one said seemingly down. "We can't stay here forever! The next time I see that guy I'm going to punch him in the face and tell him to let us leave." the second one said angrily. "By the way do you believe that he is actually some powerful person who was reborn, because if he isn't lying all of us have the potential to be the main character."

(Are they transmigrators as well?) Stewart thought. This thought shocked Stewart so much that he took a step back, this caused the stairs to creak. Luna and Lisa, hearing this noise, panicked. "He might have heard our conversation, what do we do!?" Stewart, hearing this, opened the door, did a gentleman's bow and said. "Hello. Fellow transmigrator." This caused an awkward silence in the room. Stewart could almost see a crow flying over them leaving three black dots. Luna and Lisa reacted first, backing into a corner. Stewart stood up and said. "I didn't expect to meet other transmigrators here so how did you transmigrate? A soda from a vending machine? A phone virus? a silver medal with complicated markings? Or a weird ritual in a book?" Stewart looked at the body which is currently controlled by Lisa and continued. "I know you still don't trust me so let me introduce my old identity. My name is Zhao Kong. I was born in China and transmigrated at age 29. To be honest you were the second person I met after coming to this world and the first person was a customer. Which means I transmigrated at about the same time as you did, and my brain is a bit Scrambled by space time so I can't tell you anything else because not even I know. So why don't you tell me a bit about yourself? You two seemed to know each other before transmigrating."

Luna, Lisa and Stewart sat down on either side of the table on the second floor and Luna and Lisa Started telling their story Starting with Luna. "I was born in England and developed Dissociative identity disorder caused by bullying at age seven, it wasn't very serious and I only have one other Identity which is Lisa. She is much more aggressive than I am, the doctors told me she was a personality created to protect me and asked me if I wanted to get rid of her and I said that I didn't, but I can't remember much else. Other than I transmigrated when I was 26." At this point Luna took over. " When we first came to this world both the parents of the original owner were dead and we were supposed to be too but our body rapidly regenerated. Me and Luna used the original owners memories to piece together the basics of this world and that I had become something called a Beyonder. Then we met you. The night you brought us here we decided that we should act like we didn't know each other. So you wouldn't stop helping Luna become an arbiter.
