Tranmigrator (Part 2)

After enjoying his fun torturing the man, Hatsotan resumed his mission.

Climbing onto the roofs once more he made his way to Baron Willaim's mansion without any distractions.

Once Hatsotan and Ganon were outside the fence of the mansion grounds they looked in.

Baron William's mansion was spectacular, the lawn was filled with various fountains and exotic plants. The grass was well trimmed and watered frequently. To the far right there was a large man-made lake and to the left was a giant hedge maze. This definitely was where a noble lived.

There were several watchtowers scattered around the perimeter.

Hatsotan used his power of invisibility and climbed over the fence.

Once they reached the main building Ganon told Hatsotan to wait.

"Wait here, and don't arouse any suspicion" (Rat Ganon)

Hatsotan knew when to have fun and when to be serious. Obeying Ganon Hatsotan hid in a bush awaiting the return of Ganon.

Ganon crawled through a ventilation shaft and into the mansion. Using his superior sense of smell Ganon located the room where Baron William is sleeping.

In a haste, Ganon ran towards the baron's room. Once outside the room he used his mist form and slipped through the gap between the door and into Baron Willaim's sleeping quarters.

The baron is already under Ganon's and Kilton's control. Years ago when the baron was much younger, he and a group of hunters ventured into the nearby forest. Kilton saw them and tricked the baron into drinking a bottle of monster extract. Kilton left a bottle of monster extract near the side of the road. When the baron's escort was returning to Dueling Peaks City, the baron found the clean bottle on the ground and thought it to be an expensive liquor that a merchant dropped. Obviously the baron is an idiot and drank the extract for dinner that evening.

The extract was actually Ganon's malice in disguise, once the baron drank the extract Kilton and Ganon could control the baron within a certain range.

Ganon issued a command.

"William, I have 2 tasks for you. Bring the elementalists into the soundproof room we had you create a while back, make sure to tell them that this is a secret matter and have no guards present. Inside the soundproof room pretend that you want them to meet someone. While on your way to their quarters open a window on the second story so that Hatsotan may enter the building. We will meet at the soundproof room later" (Rat Ganon)

"Yes, my lord" (Baron William Castro)

William woke up and performed his tasks.

Ganon rushed back to Hatsotan's side.

"There is an open window on the second story, that will be your entrance into the mansion" (Rat Ganon)

"How do you know?" (Hatsotan)

"The baron is under my control, I made him leave a window open for us" (Rat Ganon)

Hatsotan found the open window and went inside. Hatsotan closed the window so that suspicion wouldn't arise. Using his power Hatsotan made his way towards the soundproof room under Ganon's guidance.

The night shift responsible for guarding the mansion never noticed that someone has infiltrated the place.

Hatsotan made his way through the maze-like mansion, up a flight of stairs, and down a hallway, he stood before a pair of plain-looking doors that didn't seem to fit in with the mansion's design. The baron opened the doors ushering him in.

"Come in" (Baron William Castro)

Inside were 2 men that were still in their nightgowns. One was huge, he looked to be over 7 feet tall, his face was rough, and he had a giant scar on his right eye. The other man was shorter than Hatsotan, he was much friendlier looking than compared to the giant.

"Baron William Castro, what is it? Why did you open the door?" (Giant)

The baron stood there in silence. Ganon hadn't issued orders beyond this point, so he just stood there gazing into nothingness.

To the 2 men, it looked like the baron opened the door for no reason since Hatsotan was still invisible.

"Is something the matter?" (Friendly Looking man)

"These are the elementalists, take them out" (Rat Ganon)

"Understood" (Hatsotan)

"Don't kill them, just incapacitate them so I can bite them and inject the malice. These are valuable specimen" (Rat Ganon)

Hatsotan did just that, still invisible he came behind the smaller of the 2 men. Giving a swift chop to the neck, the man collapsed.

"George!" (Giant)

The giant saw Geroge suddenly collapsed. He didn't understand what was going on but his guard was now up.

Ganon scurried over to the fallen man to inject the malice.

'One down, one more to go' (Hatsotan)

Hatsotan tried to do the same thing to the giant. The outcome wasn't the same, the moment Hatsotan touched the man's neck his arm froze.

'My arm!' (Hatsotan)

Hatsotan was surprised.

"Haha, don't underestimate the Frost Giant, Wilson" (Wilson)

Hatsotan was invisible but his frozen arm wasn't. Wilson saw an icy arm and decided to attack that. Just when he was about to attack Hatsotan, the Baron's body slammed into him. Ganon had ordered the baron to attack Wilson. The baron may not be as tall, but they weighed just about the same.

"Baron William Castro, what are you doing?" (Wilson)

The baron tackled Wilson onto the ground, since no commands were issued after the tackle the baron just laid there.

That distraction gave enough time for Hatsotan to break the ice.

Wilson pushed the baron aside and stood up.

"Stop hiding and fight me like a real man!" (Wilson)

Ganon tried to go in for a bite but Wilson saw the rat. With his giant fist, he tried to punch the rat, Ganon used his mist form allowing him to avoid a fatal blow. However, Ganon wouldn't be able to use that move for several seconds.

Wilson readied his fist for a second strike but an arrow flew and hit Wilson in the arm.

"Ahhh" (Wilson)

Wilson grunted in pain.

"Playing dirty" (Wilson)

'The villain always plays dirty' (Hatsotan)

Hatsotan was accustomed to blackmail, tricker, and all sorts of ways that would allow Hatsotan to have a one up on his opponent. Playing dirty was second nature to Hatsotan.

After Hatsotan shot the arrow Ganon retreated and waited until he could use his mist form again.

Wilson plucked the arrow out and a small stream of blood flowed out.

Hatsotan knocked a vase over, which alerted Wilson. Wilson charged in the general direction of where the vase broke hoping to tackle Hatsotan. After hitting nothing but air Wilson stood facing a wall.

Hatsotan's stamina gauge was almost depleted, with no choice he undid his power and became visible.

"So there you are. A monster, you must be controlling the baron somehow" (Wilson)

He was partially right.

With Hatsotan visible, all of Wilson's attention went to him.

With this distraction, Ganon climbed up the wall and leaped onto Wilson's neck biting him.

Ganon was immune to elemental effects so he didn't freeze.

"Ahhh, the rat!" (Wilson)

Wilson tried to slap the rat but Ganon's mist form was ready again. Fearing nothing Ganon allowed Wilson to slap him only for his palm to pass through his body.

The malice may have been injected but it would take an hour or so before it circulated throughout Wilson's body.

Hatsotan had a plan, using his bow he shot both of Wilson's legs so he couldn't move. Turning invisible Hatsotan picked the baron up and proceeded to leave the room. To Wilson, it looked as if the baron suddenly vanished. Hatsotan could turn others invisible as well.

Before Hatsotan left the room he shouted to Ganon.

"Hey rat, can you suck up all the air in this room?" (Hatsotan)

"Call me Ganondorf! Yes, why do you ask" (Rat Ganon)

"Just do it, I'll explain later" (Hatsotan)

Hatsotan left the room and closed the door. Wilson wasn't ready to give up yet. He tried to limp his way towards the exit, but he then felt a strong draft behind him. The rat opened its small mouth and began sucking in air, after just a few seconds the room became a giant vacuum. This room was meant to be soundproof so there was no ventilation, also the door sealed the room perfectly so air couldn't get in.

If a person were to stay in this room for extended periods of time they would die of carbon dioxide poisoning.

"I can't breat-" (Wilson)

Wilson limped closer to the exit but his strength was waning.

Hatsotan waited for a few minutes then he opened the door. Wilson was on the ground unconscious.

The 2 elementalists were down, Hatsotan and Ganon won their first battle.

Ganon swallowed the bodies whole.

"We're done here, lets leave" (Rat Ganon)

"No we're not, the other servants and guards would wonder how these 2 disappeared. Even if the baron told them that they were killed, they would wonder why someone would break into the baron's mansion just to kill them and leave. We should make it look like a robbery so they will assume that they died trying to ward off the robbers" (Hatsotan)

This wasn't Hatsotan's first murder, after years of killing innocents, he had mastered many ways to disguise a murder.

"Okay, what shall we steal? William, what do you have that is valuable?" (Rat Ganon)

With his new command, William reacted.

"I have a golden chair, a rare gemstone from Death Mountain, a jeweled Edge of Duality, a savage lynel bow, a rare horse from the Tanabata region, a wat-" (Baron William Castro)

Ganon cut him off.

"Did you say an Edge of Duality?" (Rat Ganon)

"Yes, it is a family heirloom, since the technique to craft it has been lost it is quite valuable" (Baron William Castro)

"I will take that" (Rat Ganon)

"Very well, follow me" (Baron William Castro)

Using Hatsotan's power they walked through the mansion unnoticed.

The baron led them to a large open room filled with valuable things on display. There were paintings and antiques and various other things that looked like it could belong in a museum. At the end of the room was a sword embed with various jewels in a glass display. The sword had multiple defensive measures that would make it difficult to steal it.

However, with the baron under Ganon's control, it was an easy task to steal it.

Ganon looked at it with sparkles in his eyes.

"I have only seen 5 of these swords in my life, even in the olden days these were a rare find" (Rat Ganon)

"I didn't take you for a sword collector" (Hatsotan)

"There are still many things that you do not know about me" (Rat Ganon)

After the baron took the sword out of the display, Ganon swallowed it.

While in the room, Hatsotan faced a silver mirror. He stared deeply into it.

He was mortified.

"I look hideous" (Hatsotan)

"Don't worry, I've seen worst. If you want I can disguise your appearance into something that you would prefer" (Rat Ganon)

"I'd like that" (Hatsotan)

"Imagine what you would like to look like" (Rat Ganon)

Hatsotan closed his eyes and imagined the appearance of a young version of himself.

Ganon bit Hatsotan, Hatsotan gritted his teeth in pain. After the ordeal, Hatsotan saw the new figure in the mirror.

It had brown hair and eyes. His face was no longer grey but a pale color. He was a handsome man by any means.

"This is only an illusion, if Link were to strike you with the master sword your appearance would revert back" (Rat Ganon)

"I understand. What's the Master Sword?" (Hatsotan)

"It is a powerful weapon, capably of sealing away darkness" (Rat Ganon)

Ganon issued Wiliam a command.

"Go to their rooms and bring their elemental weapons and armor. Leave their equipment in front of the door to this room. If a servant comes by they will wonder why there are weapons and armor. They will see that the door is unlocked and the servant will go in. They will see that the sword is gone too. Presumably, they will tell you that George and Wilson are missing as well as the sword. You will overreact and start a ruckus telling the whole city that your prized heirloom was stolen and your 2 elementalists were killed trying to defend the room" (Rat Ganon)

"Yes, my lord" (Baron William Castro)

With their business finished at the mansion, they left the room and out the mansion grounds.

Dawn was rising over the city, the operation took the whole night.

"Our next objective is the adventurer's guild, we will gather information about the other elementalists there" (Rat Ganon)

People were waking up and heading towards their jobs. Hatsotan had a fake smile trying to blend in.

They came into the adventurer's guild, this place never closed.

"Don't show yourself rat, people will scream if they saw you" (Hatsotan)

Ganon had given up on forcing Hatsotan to call him Ganondorf or Lord.

Ganon hid in Hatsotan's sleeve.

Walking towards an empty line the receptionists greeted Hatsotan

"Hello, are you a newcomer?" (Receptionists)

"Yes, I would like to speak with your boss" (Hatsotan)

"I'm sorry she's very busy if you fill out this form she can get back to you in a week or so" (Receptionists)

That was too long of a wait, they needed to speak with her now.

Going outside Hatsotan went into an alleyway and turned invisible. He snuck through the back entrance. The back was empty, they found a door leading to a separate room. Hatsotan picked the lock, a skill he learned from his past life.

The door opened, in the room was a lady with glasses and hair tied up in a bun. To her it looked like the door mysteriously just opened.

Hatsotan used this confusion and gave her a swift chop to the neck, Ganon bit her. Now they have to wait for the malice to circulate throughout the body.

After an hour of waiting the lady woke up. Ganon issued an order.

"Give us the information about every elementalists in this city" (Rat Ganon)

"Yes, give me a few hours and I shall prepare it for you my lord" (Boss)

"How many people can you control?" (Hatsotan)

"Only one at a time" (Rat Ganon)

They left the guild, Hatsotan's stomach grumbled.

"Oh yes, you need to eat. Go and find a place to eat" (Rat Ganon)

Hatsotan looked around till he found a place called the Rabbitmoose Cafe, he chose the location because it looked like something from the modern world. Also, it was relatively close to the guild.

Inside, the cafe had waxed floors and all the waiters were wearing matching uniforms. The place was also quiet, Hatsotan may be a serial killer but he enjoyed peace and quiet at times.

Hatsotan sat down, a waitress came to him.

The waitress didn't seem to want to take his order.

"Ugh, I can't believe I have to take your order" (Waitress)

"What nice service" (Hatsotan)

"Are you going to order or not? Hurry it up, others are waiting" (Waitress)

The cafe was indeed booming with business, perhaps her lousy attitude was due to overwork. Still, Hatsotan was becoming displeased with the waitress.

"I'll have this" (Hatsotan)

"Of course your ordering cheap food" (Waitress)

That was it. Hatsotan stood up and looked at the waitress for a second. Then he gave her a punch, Hatsotan didn't expect her body to fly a dozen feet away.

'This body is incredibly strong' (Hatsotan)

Hatsotan was surprised at this body's incredible strength. The waitress was out cold, she laid on the ground.

"Xalne, are you okay?!" (Waitress 2)

Another waitress came to her aid. She looked around and laid her eyes on Hatsotan.

"Sir, I'm going to ask you to leave" (Waitress 2)

Hatsotan didn't refuse. Hatsotan's hunger was satisfied, that punch filled his soul up.

There was still a lot of time to kill, Hatsotan wanted to learn more about this world. Going to various shops, entertainment areas, and outdoor lectures Hatsotan learned much about this strange world. Though his most reliable source was the rat.

Hatsotan asked as many questions as he wanted.

"At the mansion when I hit the big guy and my arm froze some of my health went down. Then after a few seconds, my health went back up. Does everyone regenerate?" (Hatsotan)

"No, only monsters and those affiliated to the dark have this ability" (Rat Ganon)

Hatsotan continued to ask these sorts of questions.

It was early afternoon so they decided to go back to the adventureres guild. The master had finished printing out the information.

There were 8 elementalists that are part of this guild and 2 more in the castle.

"When darkness arrives we begin" (Rat Ganon)

They waited till the moon was out, then Hatsotan made his move. The first target was a man named Elke, he lived down Grippen street.

Once Hatsotan arrived outside the house he double-checked that the address on the paper was right. After confirming that it was indeed the correct residence Hatsotan picked the door.

The knob turned but the door wouldn't swing open, the door probably had a sliding bolt on the other side.

"Go on the other side and unlocked the bolt" (Hatsotan)

Ganon ran down Hatsotan's arm and through the gap in between the bottom. It didn't seem that Ganon would fit but he turned into a black misty cloud and seeped in. After a brief moment, Ganon came back out. Opening the door they walked in.

The place was orderly, perhaps he was married. Hatsotan checked the paper and Elke indeed was married.

Up the stairs Hatsotan used his invisibility, Ganon used his sensitive hearing and led Hatsotan to the room that the elementalist was probably in.

Opening the door quietly they could see a well-toned man sleeping, next to him was presumably his wife.

After Hatsotan got closer, Ganon bit Elke. Ganon was going to swallow him when Hatsotan stopped him.

"No, he has already been infected. If we were to kidnap every elementalists in the city, it would look suspicious. Word may spread that elementalists are being kidnapped, that'll make it harder for us in the future" (Hatsotan)

'For a psychotic killer, he can reason well' (Rat Ganon)

Ganon in a way complimented Hatsotan.

"What shall we do? Just leave him?" (Rat Ganon)

"Yes, when we need to turn him into a monster you can just control him and make him leave the city. For now, our main objective is to infect the elementalists, we can worry about turning them into monsters later" (Hatsotan)

Ganon agreed to Hatsotan and they left the house. They spent the whole night breaking into homes and infecting the elementalists.

The next day they still needed to infect the elementalists in the castle, however it will be difficult with all the guards around.

Hatsotan liked to kill people, not fight them. He preferred trapping his prey.

"Infecting the ones in the castle will be the most difficult. Do you have any ideas?" (Hatsotan)

"What if we kidnapped a guard and I disguise you like them" (Rat Ganon)

"Yes, that could work" (Hatsotan)

They were on a rooftop overlooking the castle grounds. Hatsotan scouted the perimeter of the grounds, large walls separated the castle from the rest of the city. Guards were stationed near every gate. More were patrolling the garden on foot.

"We found the guards, but how do we single one out" (Hatsotan)

As if fate answered his question a patrol carriage was seen coming through the castle gates.

"I have an idea" (Hatsotan)

"What do you have in mind?" (Rat Ganon)

"It will require you to disguise me again" (Hatsotan)

A beautiful young lady was strolling around the city, that lady was actually Hatsotan in disguise. Hatsotan found a patrol carriage.

"Please you must help. My husband is being beaten to death" (Hatsotan)

Hatsotan pretends to cry, he was a natural at lying.

"Take us there" (Soldiers)

The soldiers let Hatsotan ride with them, once they got down a dark alleyway Hatsotan turned invisible and knocked them all out.

With Hatsotan at the reins, he took the patrol carriage back to the castle. Hatsotan was now disguised as a soldier.

At the gates, a guard spoke to him.

"Whoa, what happened to them" (Guard 1)

He saw the unconscious soldiers laying in the back.

"They were drinking a little too hard, don't tell anyone" (Hatsotan)

"No invite, I see how it is" (Guard 2)

"Okay, but if we get back drunk you mustn't tell the commander. Deal?" (Guard 3)

"Deal" (Hatsotan)

The guards let them in the castle grounds.

Once Hatsotan got near the main building he left the carriage behind some shrubs. Infiltrating the castle was simple, the hard part was locating the 2 elementalists.

Once inside Hatsotan activated his invisibility. He found an important-looking person and knocked him out. Ganon bit him and after an hour of waiting, Ganon forced him to tell them the location of the 2 elementalists.

They let him live as he could be of importance in the future.

Ganon and Hatsotan navigated through the castle. The first victim is a young man by the name of Christiano Marcos, he possessed the electric affinity.

Christiano's room was near the west wing of the castle.

His room was empty when they got there. They waited inside till he came when Christiano entered Hatsotan knocked him out allowing Ganon to bite him. Hatsotan laid Christiano on the bed, after that they proceeded to their next target.

Their next target is a Gerudo by the name of Quinner Lasole, she came here from Gerudo Town hoping to find a voe. Gerudo's could only possess the electric affinity. In the Gerudo language, a voe refers to a male. Instead of finding a voe the lord of this city took notice of her talent and offered her knighthood, she accepted right away.

Outside her room, Ganon could hear her snoring.

"She is sleeping" (Rat Ganon)

"Good" (Hatsotan)

Entering the room she was in her bed. Ganon bit her without any troubles.

Their job was finished.

It didn't take long but all the elementalists in Dueling Peaks City had been infected with Ganon's malice. When the time was right they could transform them into an army of powerful monsters.

The night was still young and the pair left the city walls.

Ganon summoned the stalhorse once outside the city walls.

"Ganon, where to now?" (Hatsotan)

Hatsotan had found a little respect for his new lord, though it would take more time for him to trust Ganon.

"Its Ganondorf, well I suppose this is an improvement. We shall head west towards Hateno, there should be many elementalists there" (Rat Ganon)

And so the story of a magical rat and a psychotic killer has begun.
