Leveling Up Against The Gods

I reply the events of the last couple of minutes in my head. I was on a long road trip to meet up with my family on the other side of the country and the next thing I knew was that I was falling, and I just kept falling until I came to an abrupt stop.

The weirdest thing is that I can still think so surely I'm not dead, right? Well, I can't move so maybe I'm paralyzed, and I can't see anything. Maybe I'm trapped in a sinkhole that closed back in on itself. Well, I guess the best thing I can do is stay conscious and wait.

Before I could think anymore I heard a voice from everywhere say:

"That was amusing to watch Mortal, but sadly you are wrong. You are dead." The disembodied voice said

'I couldn't even go 1 minute before going insane, so much for the patience I used to pride myself on' I thought

"Think what you want to think but I assure you mortal this is real. To prove it I will reveal myself to you" The disembodied voice in a way that makes me feel calm

In front of me, a silhouette in the shape of a human emerges but there are no features only stars and galaxies can be seen. This enraptured me and I could help but think: 'Wow! That's so cool.'

"I know right I finally got the hang of not killing mortals just because they see my true form" The know embodied voice says while striking some poses, the voice however still sounds the same.

'So you are obviously a god or something, so tell me why am I here' I thought, I tried to say but I can't move.

"Yeah… so about that we just upgraded the Earth's server and we had to turn it off and on again it was only down for like 0.1 femtoseconds but because your being moved into an unloaded part of the world during that time it got corrupted and you died" The ensemble of galaxies explained

'Man, you'd think it'd have happened to more people or am I just that unlucky' I wallowed in my own sadness

"You are just that unlucky but that's why I'm here. You were supposed to have a full life before unrightfully dying so I will give you another chance at life" The "god" said

'Sweet! Can I pick where and what powers?' I thought with excitement

"Nope all random except for place in the social hierarchy if it's applicable" I felt my hopes shatter with that comment, but I still held firm just in case I got something good.

"Well, let's get started." It says that then two wheels each with no visible writing appear though one seems to be divided more

"We'll start with the world since some powers might not be applicable depending on the world" It clarifies what the two wheels are for, Powers and Worlds.

The ensemble of galaxies then spins the World wheel with a lot of strength, it keeps spinning with no sign of slowing down, until what felt like forever started slowing down then finally it stopped and the silhouette announced the result since I couldn't see the small text.

"Leveling With The Gods, now that is an interesting one" The silhouette said. I then see the Powers wheel get bigger, but not by much. I also thought about the world I'll be sent to and I was feeling more anxious than ever to get something good.

"Well I see you want to move on now as well so let's GO" As it finishes it starts spinning the Power wheel

Even though during the first wheel I got bored eventually, during this one I couldn't help but watch with bated breath. My life was on the line, even though I'm pretty sure if I got anything bad I might get a reroll, cause I think he feels bad enough for me, right?

The wheel eventually stopped and I kept my gaze hard focused on the collection of galaxies.

"And without further ado your power is, Blessing of Battle And Magic" "God" says like a game show host announcing this week's winner.

'Thank god it isn't bad' I finally mentally calm down a lot.

"'Not bad' This Power is great for a Mortal" It accentuates

'Uhh… not to be ungrateful or anything but the world I'm getting sent to I'm not that familiar with, I am not even close to caught up on the Manhwa, can you help me with that' I ask and try to sound as nice as possible in my head so he is more likely to accept.

"You know what I did feel like I was missing something, I forgot to tell you that when the tutorial begins the system that you get will help you with any questions" I was surprised a god like him forgot.

I remember two pieces of stray information from real life and LWTG (Leveling With The Gods). The most populated city on Earth is Tokyo and the tutorial's difficulty is based on the population of an area to counterbalance it. Since I was on the topic of Tokyo and Japan I had anime on my mind when it came to who I wanted to look like but I decided against it and made my choice.

'Tokyo and Sung Jin-Woo please' I thought and then the next thing I knew I was hearing the bustling city of Tokyo

I opened my eyes and weirdly I saw a black screen in front of me that said "View Information On Powers". Without any thought, I clicked and read the description
