Chapter One: Indeed I am Stupid...

Kathryn pants heavily under the terrible rain that was beating her body and reminding Kath of her terrible choice and it also cleared her mind of how she got there. She remembered she has stayed in this position for over an hour even before the rain started. It was as if she needed this position to understand the vision she was seeing currently. Like a 3D picture, she seemed to see her life pass in front of her, letting her see her stupidity and how she got to this stage of her life.

she raised her voice to the cloud "I am sorry Lord, I am ready for me" as if responding to heaven's cry and mockery of what has become of her, the one who once had everything that others prayed for and how she chose to pursue what was not met to be for her. As she panted, she kept reiterating over and again, "It is not the end, I can still choose for the last time"

She cried bitterly and mock her stupidity as she begin to reminisce about her life since she moved to her so-called husband's house, infact she can't call him husband because he didn't marry her legally. To make it short, she was abandoned here as soon as she was confirmed pregnant and her mother that would have helped her to plead her case was married off by the family.

Yes, her father's family married her mother to her daddy's younger brother according to the tradition of the family. She remembered how Uncle Mingyu always looked at her mom whenever he came to visit. Now that she remembered, he seems to be one of the people that raised objection against her mother's mourning her dad for a year and urge the family head to honor the tradition of giving her mother in marriage to him.

Considering my uncle's tigress wife, I hope my mom is doing well there. Indeed, I have been selfish and unfilial all these years. She was disgracefully selfish, looking back, her past self really disgust her. But even though years have gone, she will take the first step and walk towards her daughter. This time around, she will choose herself and her daughter for the journey ahead.

Even though her husband was a scumbag for taking advantage of her weakness to impregnate her, it was entirely not his fault. At the end of the day, it was because she was stupid to trust the wrong person.

Everyone around warned her but she turned a deaf ear, after all not everyone in life could end up being with their crush and she was happy to say yes to him when he proposed not knowing that day was the beginning of her nightmare. She thought she win the jackpot but now that she looks back, it was really bad luck.

Or what else will she call it when all that happened to her after getting together with him was one bad luck to another? Well, the only good things are the son in her belly since she is 7 months gone, she knows the gender and her daughter. She once again looked towards her daughter and took a step towards her daughter.

Yes, she doesn't know yet how it will be but for the first step of walking towards her daughter and extending her hands, she will gladly take it because she knows this opportunity that heaven give to her, for her to wake from her daze and think about her life, only come but once and this step she must take it. it is now or Never....
