14th January, it's my birthday today. I have turned 17. And today is the day when I need to leave my royal school. Now I have to enter "The Royal Magician's Academy". Every student from royal family has to come here when they turn 17. The students have to read here for one year. As I'm 17 now, I have to enter that school.

"Princess, It's time to go." 

"Ok I'm coming." I got into the carriage. The school was not so far from our Kingdom. I reached there within an hour. My parents was with me. As soon as our carriage entered the school, a teacher of that school welcomed us. 

"Your Majesty, we are very glad that you have come here. Please follow me." The teacher took us to the headmaster.

"Your Majesty, My name is Fedrick West. Please sit down." We sat down. 

"It's my daughter, Princess Lauren. She just turned 17 today." My father, the King of Westelia said.

"I see. But as she is the batch of January, you could come here on 1st January." Sir Fedrick said.

"I think you are right but trust me, she is a fast learner. I hope you won't get any chance to complain." My father said. 

"If you are saying so, then it's fine. But please remember, the rules of our school is not so easy. Students need to work very hard here. If You break any of the rules, you'll have to pay a great punishment for that." Sir Fedrick said looking at me.

"I'll keep that in my mind, Sir Fedrick." I said.

"Great. Ms. Luhan, please take her to the classroom." Sir Fedrick said.

"As you say, Sir Fedrick. Princess, please follow me." I went with Ms. Luhan. We walked through the long corridor. My classroom was at the second floor. There were different kind of batches. As my birthday is on January, Ms. Luhan took me to the classroom of batch January. 

"Listen everyone, she is Princess Lauren from Westelia. I hope you'll help her and become good friends with her." Ms. Luhan said and left the classroom.

"Princess Lauren, if you want you can sit with me." A girl sitting on the first bench said to me. I went to the first bench and sat with her.

"I'm Princess Clara from Piston." She said.

"I'm Princess Lauren from Westelia." I said.

"So it's your birthday today? You could come here on 1st January. We all started this from 1st January. You have missed a lot of lessons." Princess Clara said.

"Yeah, I think you are right. Actually I didn't think of it." 

"Don't worry. I'll try my best to help you." She said.

"Thank you so much." I thanked her. Meanwhile, A teacher has entered the classroom. She had some power stones with her. Actually, every magicians should have this magic stones. Different types of power stones have different magic powers. When the students graduate from the school, they get their own power stones. 

The teacher took our class for half an hour. After his leaving, another teacher entered. After two classes we got a break. 

"I'm going to the cafeteria. Will you come with me?" Princess Clara asked me. 

"You go. I need to go to the library." I replied.

"Library? You can go there later. You should come eat something first." She said.

"No. Actually I have to collect some important books. You go, I'll come later."

"As you wish." She said and went for the cafeteria. I also left the classroom and tried to find the library. 

Suddenly I saw a boy going upstairs.

"Excuse me, can you please tell me where is the library?"

"Yes, I'm also going there. If you want, you can come with me." He said.

"Thank you." I said and started to follow him. 

"So, which batch are you from?" He asked me.

"January. You?" I asked.

"December. I have never noticed you before." He said looking at me. 

"I have joined today." I said.

"I see. By the way, I'm Prince Ren from Kriston." He said.

"Princess Lauren from Westelia." I said. We talked about our Kingdoms for a while. 

"Here we are." We reached the library. It was very big. there were thousands of almirahs. Millions of books were arranged in different shelves according to subjects. I was looking for some legendry magician's book. I found the shelve of my subject and started to find the book I want. Suddenly I have heard some strange noises from an almirah. It was coming from the east side of the library.

"What's with that noise? Let me check." I started going to the east side. 

"Don't go there." Suddenly Prince Ren's voice stopped me.

"I have heard some noises coming from there." I said.

"Just forget it. Don't you know? Sir Fedrick forbidden us from going to the east side of this library. That's his personal side. Even the teachers don't have the permission to go there. Only Sir Thomas has the permission." He said looking at the east side. 

"I didn't know about it." I said.

"Be careful. The rules of this school are too strict. If you break any of them, you won't be able to read in this school again. And you know it very well that every student of royal families has to complete their graduation from this school. It's the only school that gives the certificate to a royal member." Saying this he took a book from a shelve and gave it to me.

"Take it. All rules are written here." I took the book and looked at it for a while.

"Did anyone ever get kicked out of this school for breaking rules." I asked him.

"Yes, my own brother. My elder brother had broken a dangerous rule of this school. For that, he couldn't complete his graduation." He said.

"Your brother? What type of rule did he broke?" I asked shockingly.

"You must be hungry. How about we go to the cafeteria and talk about it?" He asked.

"I don't have any problem." I said.

"Then let's go." We left for the cafeteria. Before leaving, I looked at the east side of the library and felt something mysterious.
