Laid-back Highschooler In Bleach (With Soul Cube)

"What is the point of being strong if you cannot even be lazy?" Kai Kurogami never had any aspirations to be a hero. He was content living his life in peaceful obscurity, avoiding any and all trouble that might come his way. But after the Soul Cube merged with his body, he found himself with incredible power at his fingertips - power that he could use to protect those he cared about. Of course, that didn't mean he was suddenly going to become a hero overnight. Kai still had his priorities straight: avoid trouble, stay under the radar, and find the easiest way out of any situation. And with his new abilities, that was easier than ever. As he absorbed the souls of the fallen warriors from the Thousand Year Blood War, Kai found himself gaining incredible powers and abilities. But he was careful to keep his head down and avoid drawing too much attention to himself. He might have been a powerful warrior now, but that didn't mean he wanted to be bothered by all the other powerful warriors out there. Along the way, Kai found himself building a harem of powerful women who were drawn to his carefree attitude and devil-may-care approach to life. But even with all that power at his fingertips, Kai never lost sight of his true goal: finding the path of least resistance and staying as lazy as possible. So if you're looking for a hero with a sense of purpose, look elsewhere. But if you want a warrior who will do anything to avoid a fight, Kai Kurogami is your man. Just don't expect him to save the world anytime soon. **I am currently writing three novels simultaneously - One Piece with Bodily Refinement Bead, Bleach with Soul Cube, and Naruto with Divine Purple Card. Arrancars Again?

The reflection of their silhouettes danced on the glassy surface of the Mirror Dimension as they emerged to the real world, exhaustion drenching their clothes and visible on their faces. Even then, the girls held their heads high, the victory of their fruitful sparring against the Arrancars causing a smirk to linger on their lips.

Rukia, her petite form dusted with the remnants of combat, was the first to break the silence. "Well, that was exhilarating," she commented lightly, her icy eyes glinting with satisfaction.

Yoruichi chuckled lightly. "A warm-up, nothing more." Her playful gaze met each of their eyes, an unspoken challenge sparking in the dimly lit room.

Beside her, Orihime, quietly chided, "But Yoruichi-san, we need to be careful, they were getting hurt…"

Before anyone could respond, Tatsuki chimed in, her fiery spirit unquenched, "I'm sure the Arrancars are feeling thrilled right now, knowing they are part of our training. Or not..." Her smirk had a hint of cruel amusement, unapologetic in its nature.

Their attention shifted to Kai, who was lazily sprawling on the large couch, seemingly unaffected by their intense training session.

The fiery-haired Rangiku, her ample curves barely concealed, sprawled next to Kai, laying her head in his lap with a weary sigh, her eyes shimmering with a sly mischief. "They're okay, Tatsuki, don't worry. Kai healed them."

Chizuru, the carefree spirit in their group, was next to join them on the couch. Her normally lively eyes twinkled with fatigue, "So, what's next, Kai? More training?"

Next to her, Michiru softly added, her usual reserved demeanor slightly tainted with a rosy blush, "Or maybe...some rest? We've been training non-stop."

Kai chuckled at the girls' comments, taking a moment to absorb their fatigue mixed with the thrill of their accomplishment. He could tell the girls were worn out, their bodies pushed to the limit, and their spirits agitated from the intense sparring.

Just as Kai was about to address the girls, his gaze sharply turned to the massive glass panes overlooking the city. A peculiar yet familiar spiritual pressure wafted towards him, causing his eyes to narrow subtly. With a serene grace, he gently lifted Rangiku's head from his lap and placed a soft pillow in its stead.

Puzzled by his abrupt actions, all seven girls turned their attention towards him. His eyes still fixed on the cityscape beyond, Kai grinned and said, "You girls take some rest. I'm going to go and catch more animals for our zoo."

The cryptic statement hung in the room like a suspended pebble, confusing the women. His words had an undertone of jest, yet his expression was serious. Before they could question him further, Kai disappeared, leaving them perplexed in the middle of their victory celebration.

Only a few seconds after his departure, the room felt heavy with an unsettling spiritual pressure. It was a feeling they had become all too familiar with - the signature essence of Arrancars. As if an invisible veil had lifted, realization dawned upon them. More of their challenging opponents had just arrived.

Yoruichi immediately stood up, her feline eyes reflecting the distant city lights. "So, he's going for another hunt. I never thought Kai would be this diligent,"

Rukia, the logical thinker of the group, cut through the silence that had settled. "Kai wouldn't have left us here if he thought he needed our help. He's cunning, in his own lazy way." She managed a small chuckle, trying to alleviate Orihime's concern.

"Yeah. He'll bring those Arrancars back with barely a scratch on him," Tatsuki interjected with a roll of her eyes. Though she attempted to sound indifferent, the underlying pride was unmistakable.

Rangiku, still reclining on the couch with her head on the pillow, sighed deeply. "He sure knows how to make a scene," she mused, her amber eyes gleaming with intrigue and affection.

Kai materialized in the air, his gaze meeting the four Arrancars. As his eyes took them in, his grin widened, a gleam of anticipation flitting through his eyes. "Hey, big guy, returned for more? I was upset because last time you escaped, but this time, I will catch you."

The largest among them, Yammy, gritted his teeth, the muscular fibers of his face tensing with his wild smile. "I was looking for you, bastard! I will make you pay this time."

Kai chuckled dismissively at Yammy's aggressive posturing, brushing off his crude words as if they were nothing more than an irritating buzz. Instead, he turned his attention to the other Arrancars.

One of them was almost picturesque. Despite his youthful, effeminate features, a certain deadly grace exuded from him. His short, unevenly cut black hair curled around his forehead, framing his lavender eyes and the row of three pink stars just above his left eyebrow. His Espada tattoo, the number six, was boldly imprinted on his right hip, a silent declaration of his power.

Beside him, another Arrancar exuded a less refined aura. His violet eyes were set in a goofy grin, but his stature and form spoke volumes about his strength. This dichotomy intrigued Kai, adding another layer of entertainment to the upcoming encounter.

The last one stood tall, a tower of muscled darkness. His imposing figure was set against his dark skin, providing an eerie contrast to his large lips. The remnants of his Hollow mask, a row of bony spikes, ran along the crest of his bald head.

Kai recognized them from the memories he inherited. Luppi Antenor, Zommari Rureaux, and Wonderweiss Margela. And atop them all, Yammy Llargo. Now this was quite a team, he mused, his eyes flicking between the Arrancars. Before he could make a move, additional figures materialized behind him.

Turning, Kai saw Toshiro Hitsugaya, Ikkaku Madarame, Renji Abarai, Yumichika Ayasegawa, and Ichigo Kurosaki in their Shinigami attire, ready for a clash. He gave them a lazy tilt of his head before turning back towards the looming threats.
