Feeling Blue

"May I request, everyone's attention. "

Shen Tai called out to everyone as he stood between the girl, on his left and his cousin, Bai Shihan, on his right. He had a serious expression on his face. Since, his words seemed more like a command than a request, everyone complied immediately. Everyone left whatever they were doing and turned to face Shen Tai as he spoke. He continued as he held Bai Shihan's hand.

"She, whom you mistook as the female lead, is my little sister who was here on a vacation and just happened to pass by. Though, she is one of the prettiest girls, ever born and she is as pure and delicate as jade, but to your disappointment, she is not the female lead of the movie, 'Destined to love you'."

As he spoke his words, Bai Shihan looked at him, completely shocked. She was at loss of words. She felt like there was a sudden stroke of lightening in the clear sky.

'So, they mistook me as the female lead of their movie. Oh God, I completely forgot. The people at the gate told me about the shoot going on. I probably reached the shooting venue as I was admiring the bridge, that is why I couldn't understand what all was going on.'

Shen Tai then turned to face the girl on his left and then, spoke,

"She is Kuang Ai, the female lead-to-be of the movie 'Destined to love you'. She is a new actress and this is her first project. But that doesn't make her any less competent than other estalished actresses."

Kuang Ai nodded and smiled. "I will work hard to meet your expectations under your guidance. Please take care of me."

Kuang Ai was a playful and cute girl who was the younger sister of Shen Tai's good friend. She had always had a crush on Shen Tai and used to follow him everywhere. She had majored in acting and was looking for a good project. So, she had requested her brother and thus, he urged Shen Tai to give her a chance. So, she got a chance to act with the famous actor and be close to her life long crush.

Bai Shihan observed Kuang Ai's expression and realised that she liked her brother. Ever since, they came, Kuang Ai had followed Shen Tai with her eyes. She smiled to herself as she walked to her. She told,

"You are a good and innocent girl. You will get what you want as long as you work hard."

Kuang Ai nodded to her with a smile.

Bai Shihan added, "I am not just talking about work but also love. You have to take care of my brother."

Kuang Ai blushed and a rosy pink colour appeared on her cheeks. She looked even more pretty and cute this way. Bai Shihan laughed at her reaction and then, walked to where Nie Shufen and Bei Suzy were standing. She wanted to apologize to them in the best possible way.

"I am so sorry. I really didn't know about the shoot going on here. Because of me, your efforts went waste. Also, I am sorry for misunderstanding you earlier." Bai Shihan said in an apologetic tone.

Nie Shufen nodded his head, "It's completely alright. I am sorry too for not asking for an introduction earlier. By the way, I am Nie Shufen, the male lead of this movie as you know."

It immediately struck him that he still didn't know her name. So, he quickly introduced himself.

"It was really nice to meet you, Mr. Nie." She was about to leave when she saw an expectant look on Nie Shufen's face. She smiled a little as she understood that he was waiting for her to introduce herself.

"I am Bai Shihan. I had come here on a vacation trip. I was really nice meeting you Mr. Nie. You are a really good actor. I almost fell for your skills." she chuckled and said as she turned to walk away.

"Shihan...Bai Shihan." Nie Shufen murmured and his face turned red. He was blushing, was completely lost and failed to notice the presence of Bei Suzy who had been looking at them. She noticed him blushing and thought to herself,

'My goodness, Mr. Nie is blushing. Many young girls, actresses and female fans have complimented Mr. Nie for his acting skills. It is the first time, I have seen him blushing like this. He seems like a teenager in love.'

she smiled and her thoughts and noticed that Nie Shufen's face turned sad as Bai Shihan walked away. She chuckled at the look on his face.

"Uhmm...Mr. Nie are you disappointed with the fact that Ms. Bai Shihan is not the female lead or that she just left?" Bei Suzy questioned him with a teasing look.

"Stop it... Suzy, I am not in a mood to handle your teasing." Nie Shufen said with a slightly angry look on his face.

"Mr. Nie is probably 'feeling blue'." she murmured loud enough for Nie Shufen to hear.
