Chapter 01

Do you ever feel alone? Whereas you dont know what to do anymore? Because i feel the same.

But, Reality taught me that we don't always get to be happy all the time. There will be always a loss in our lives that we wouldn't ever expected to happen.

I am Lynxianna, a woman who don't know the meaning of this life. I work hard, get payed, sleep, eat, and do side line jobs.

I thought to myself that I wouldn't budge even if someone die in front of me. But things gradually change when i learned something from myself.

I was dying. Yet, why do i feel so empty? when you are dying, are you supposed to feel like this?

"Xianna, Please breathe for a year. I promise you, when you come back, I'll give you all the work you want." – My assistant said.

I gave her a bitter smile, "Are you seeing me as a nuisance too? are you full on cleaning my mess that you want to puke?" I ask.

She sigh, "No. I merely want to see you relax. You've been working yourself to death that you've gain this 'thing'. I want you to heal, to survive, and to be happy."

I was too stunned to speak. I don't know but why does her words were different from before? is she really that worried for me? that she is going to do everything and anything just to give me a healing phase?

"Hm...okay, I'll leave today." I casually answered.

I didn't give my words a lot of thoughts as i expected that days will just goes by, and i'll be here in no time to work again.

I saw her delighted smile, like a heavy burden was lift up on her shoulders.

"Please be well, Lyxianna." She bid farewell.

I didn't respond and just waved my hands at the back, not turning around.

Do i need to put an expectation on this vacation? It seems like this would become a new experience to me.

As i landed on the airport, I asked myself.

'What am i even doing?' , 'Why am i here?'

I took a cab and asked the driver, "Mr.Driver, Can you recommend me a place that's not popular but still a good environment?"

He laughs, "Then, Futz Village is it. It's a village that's rich in environment, but hasn't been on a public yet. They're actually not really that friendly on the tourists, but who knows."

Well, i am not really that worried nor i care if they would accept me or not. as long as this vacation worth a year will just pass by, everything's okay.

"Is that so? Please head there." I pleaded.

He smiles and took me there.

When i arrived, the breeze wind uses my long hair to cover me which i found so annoying.

But...looking on it, the scenery don't disappoint. It's good, you can feel the comfortable warm vibe here.

When i entered the village, A lot of villagers stared at me as if i was some criminal. But nonetheless, I didn't care.

I took my luggage and arrive at some inn. when i entered, there was almost no person there.

The inn was beautiful, but i don't get why there's not many residence here.

"Hi, I would like to register." I said towards the recipient.

She smiled, "For how long?"

Wow, she is the first person to ever smile at me like that. Every single person i met become so hostile to me, i didn't even do anything wrong to them.

"For a year." I answered.

I thought she would ask me the reason for staying that long, but she didn't. She just smiled again and gave me a key.

I went to my designated room, which was upstairs. I took it because the view at night is the sky, and i can see some houses around the village.

When i entered the room, it was surprisingly clean and the bed was hard. You cannot even sleep properly on it. But i don't want to complain, especially since i'm an outsider not-welcome tourist here.

'The day is just starting, yet i feel tired.'

I unpacked my luggage and started to arrange my things according to its shelf and cabinets. While unpacking, i couldn't avoid thinking all the things and reasons as to why i ended up being here.

'I just wish days will pass by quickly.'

After i put all the things, I quickly grab my camera and left the inn. I plan to explore and know this village more.

But...I don't know where to start.

Ah whatever. Let's just go wherever this feet leads me to.

Is what i said. So i ended up here at the side of this beautiful lake. a green healthy grass in the side, a peaceful lake on the other side.

I quickly took my camera and capture it in different angles. It was my first time of seeing this kind of place.

When i check the pictures, I was stunned.

'Why is there a man here?'

I turned my head, realizing it's too late.

He was in front of me, raising his brows while giving me some kind of warm smile.

"Am i handsome in there?' He asked.

"Pfftt."

"Hey what's funny?! I was asking truthfully!" He exclaims.

"Ah nothing. Anyway, I didn't know you were also captured, dont't worry i'll immediately delete it." I said, giving him assurance that his photo will be deleted.

"No, just keep it. I don't mind it at all." He responded and sit down on the grass.

"I don't really need it, but okay thanks." I responded and look at the lake again.

He sighs, "Are you a tourist?"

I looked at him, he was looking at me.

I sat down beside him and answered him truthfully, "Yup."

We both watch the sun reflect on the lake as it goes down.

"The villagers here isn't welcoming, You sure will be having a hard time on your stay here." He calmly said.

"I don't really care. I was also forced to have a vacation, so i'm just hoping days will go by." I said tiringly.

He stopped on throwing the stones and slowly look at me again, "Is...that so? that's good to hear."

I don't know but i don't feel awkward talking to him, He is giving me a vibe that can get along with my vibe. Assurance that i can talk freely.

"I'm Claudius, but call me Dion." He warmly said.

"I'm Lynxianna, call me whatever you want." I nonchalantly said.

As the sunset goes down, we stood up and bid farewell.

"It will take time. But during that time, it will bloom the way you want." He said.

[Means that it will take time for the people to open up to her. But in that time, it will surely bloom. like her relationship with the villagers will somehow bloom.]

I was confused, but i didn't give thoughts about it.

He whistles, and a white horse appeared.

It was beautiful.

"Where do you reside right now?" He asked.

"Futz Inn." I answered.

He stared at me for a while, but finally smiled and left me with the lake.
