Seclusion Of A Knight - Origins Of The Seven Volume 2

""Behold the origin story of the famed and wildest hero, Brad Silverhilt, one of the Seven Harbingers. Their arrival heralded a new age of great impact on the World of Aerkha." "Amidst the implementation of the reformed knighthood system, the noble knights found themselves confined within the boundaries of their cities, their desires to reclaim their former powers fueling their resistance against the new order. Unyielding in their determination, they clung to the hope of regaining control, strategically sending their noble offspring as candidates for knighthood within the revamped system. Meanwhile, King Illuen D'harven, the esteemed High Commander and mastermind behind the new knighthood system, remained resolute in his conviction that true heroes would only emerge through arduous and disciplined training. He firmly championed the idea that equal rights should be bestowed upon every candidate within the newly established knighthood system. Only the passage of time would determine whether his idealistic vision or the pragmatic approach would prevail. However, among the ranks of the knights, a singular candidate who joined their esteemed order during the fourth year of the Unified Illuthar Kingdom would soon come to realize that in order to reshape the very fabric of the world's narrative, he must undergo a profound metamorphosis within a remarkably brief span of fewer than ten years." Author's Note to Reader: "Dear Reader, the Origins of The Seven series comprises separate books featuring the backstory of seven heroes, and there is no specific reading order." This novel, written in the tradition of classic fantasy, aims to weave a tapestry akin to the illustrious campaign tales such as Dragonlance and Forgotten Realms, while retaining its own unique essence. It could be marked as my fourth attempt in the last fifteen years, but the second to be published here or anywhere. Previously, I was hesitant to share my work, but now I am eager to receive any criticism. Therefore, dear reader, I implore you to provide your comments freely. Your thoughts are invaluable to me. Thank you in advance, and I hope you relish this tale.

Underlying darkness

"Does this ever get easier?" I ask my best friend Ryan as he belts out a hearty laugh "Dude, women are never easy! You think just cause she was a slut that she would just forget about the night you guys had?" I cock my eyebrow and grin "I mean she could at least take a hint. Aren't there about a billion other guys out there? You know, someone who can give this girl what she wants? Surely I'm not the only man who can satisfy her". Ever since I spent the night with Sahara she has been calling me and when I don't answer she texts me. She even tried to show up at my condo a few times to convince me that we were "meant to be". I laughed in her face, the irony in the statement was just icing on the cake. I met this girl in a strip club. She was the main attraction stripper, said to never have been tied down by any man. This woman spent one night with me and now she won't leave me alone. "God man, how do you do it? Every woman you sleep with thinks you're their superman. What the hell do you do? You must have some spell you cast on these chicks, come on, gimme your secret!" Ryan practically begs pulling me out of my trance. "Honestly I have no idea what you're talking about. I merely have sex with who I want, when I want, and where I want. If they have some type of fixation with me, that's on them. I tell them beforehand that all I want is some hot sex. They just look too much into it because they've never had a man like me." Ryan rolled his eyes at my arrogant statement and retorts "I still think you're holding out on me, but hey go ahead and keep your secrets". Oh if he only knew, he would run for the hills. I have this problem with what I like to call it my "underlying darkness". With women it takes the form of a superior sexual agenda, I like it rough... AND pleasurable. But with other males... I turn into a monster, the true monster I am. Women think it's a game and sexy because they get one hell of a night. What they don't realize is that when that darkness takes control, there is nothing that can stop it until it takes what it wants. Women think it makes me a mystery or that I'm playing hard to get. They don't know what I've done or what I'm capable of. How I can hurt someone so easily and not remember doing such things. This darkness... it doesn't descriminate, it doesn't FEEL, it's like I'm just a shell for a deeper and more damning demon.

Castles and the Beasts that live in them.

Touching the tender skin of her thighs thus making her squirm, Arthur lifted his eyes up to her and suddenly asked, “Are you a virgin?” Winifred's thighs shook at the intimacy of his question, she was so shocked to be asked such a thing right in the middle of such intimacy going on between them. At the expanse of his broad chest that was filling up her entire vision, she said “What?” “Your virginity. Do you still have it?” Arthur asked again without a hitch in his breath. Winifred felt she should push him away. She felt like she had to put an end the confusing situation. She needed to set the boundaries between them and not give in to whatever game it was that he was playing. It wasn't supposed to be that hard, all she wanted was to be away from him, his kingdom, the so called beasts, this world. All she wanted was to be away from the 1700s she was in and back in the 2022 she was supposed to be in. She didn't want to feel this way; heavy, panting and all that, so lazy yet so awake and throbbing. But her mouth opened up and she found herself answering his question instead. “No," she said, without missing a beat even though it was a lie. She was lying because she didn't want to make him think he had something to take from her, if what they were thought in history classes was true then it meant that these people prioritized virginity in girls and women. So maybe, saying she was not one would make Arthur reduce whatever hold he had on her, maybe he would start to see her in a different light and just decide to let her go. But then, his thumb moved in circles, hot and rough against her soft skin, as he says, “You’re lying.” _______________ Meet Winifred. A spoilt brat whose life has always been full of ease until things suddenly changed in a span of hours, she found out that she wasn't her father's daughter, fainted and then woke up only to find out that she wasn’t in the time zone she knew anymore, worst was she went way back in time when things were done in the traditional way and the law was especially unfavorable to women. A time when superstitions as she called them was the height of the day and the people believed in some beasts. And even before she could settle or understand what was happening to her, things she never imagined started to happen to her. Meet Arthur. He's known as the icy prince. He hates humans, he hates slave auctions but then he found himself buying one to please his father. What he didn't know was that he had bought one that had come from the future, one that didn't understand what submission or obedience was. And in the course of their back and forth, things started to happen. Things that are forbidden and would never be accepted in their world.
