Narrator's POV

When humans have finally populated the world to the extreme and used almost everything they need to survive, many scientists have begun researching for a way to prevent starvation of humanity, extinction of animals, like you. Sorry, I meant humans; and before all of those things, of course, climate change.

In history, it has always been anticipated that after billions of years, the future must have flying houses, chips for brains, robots for spouses, oh no no no no. Well, there have been some tweaks here and there, but all it takes to hinder growth are idiots, and there are too many of them. Even the most brilliant scientists can be the most idiotic being in the world, sometimes. Don't take it the wrong way, actually don't think of it as anything. Because I adore them, scientists.
