"This is Wyvernport, it's quite dull for the only port in this area." In fact it's one of only three ports our family own. Even with all the people travelling around it's quite dull.

"That's due to the recent movement in Scot County, we aren't able to confirm it yet but there is word that the vampires are uniting." Right as I'm made ruler of this place as well.

"Why is it hard to find out what's happening in the vampire side." We should have enough resources and men to find out.

"It's due to the treaty signed between your ancestor and the current queen of Scot County. We aren't able to use our full hands to find out, the vampires have made it their mission to block access to Scot County." The treaty of Iron, it stated that all relationships with Scot County including trade, marriage, combined military training and even mining operations should cease.

I'm sure that they aren't fully following the treaty but have long since figured out the situation. If they have the information they would have it easier to control me.

"That will be all for now Baron Thomas, tell your family I will be visiting soon." He nods then bow and leave. 

My family might be able to exert control over the entire Westland but in these small areas we lose out. The Rhosyn has controlled Wyvernport for generations now. I'm just a newcomer so my power is low.

The same is at all the major forces, Ironfort is ruled by the Alwyn, Emerald City by the Flowers, Scot City by the Fossil and Wyvernport by Rhosyn.

The Fossil are loyal to the Eirwen house but even the most loyal can turn disloyal. Flowers are neutral the only thing that mattered to them is the massive nearby forest. Alwyn might be decent allies but they won't leave not until the Scot threat is dealt with. Finally the Rhosyn. . . It's best to exert force. 

"All the soldiers have been rested and are ready to move at your command." Knight Jorah says bowing to me.

"I will employ you to do something for me, take this and bring these people for me and the ones marked in bold make it silent." Unlike Baron Thomas, his ties are directly with my family so I can trust him.

With that out of the way, my biggest issue will be three things: money, transportation and manpower.

Even with all the money I'm given the amount it takes to run this territory runs up to around 10 million gold coins and the annual income is around 25 million.

It takes around a month to travel to all cities in all the territories and it's even impossible by feet making it easy for cities or villages to lose critical resources. 

Finally manpower, the soliders aren't enough to run this place. The local garrison can easily find around 15 thousand men and even more if conscripted. So I need to match that number and without their help.

There are bandit's all over the place and they cause disruption to all flow. I will have someone scoop out the terrain and map out important information. They will be my first target. 

Until everything is placed in motion I will need to sit down quietly. That's why I'm helping out the local doctor community. I'm under disguise though.

"Doctor Wilson we need help with a patient, he was shot by a strange object and needs immediate attention!" A nurse says to me dragging me to the patient but what is this strange object is she talking about. 

I go inside and see a man lying on the bed bleeding heavily. All doctors nearby look on with worry and confusion. The wound is similar to an arrow wound but there is no arrow. I've seen this situation before but I was ten and in the Holy City-States.

"Get all the equipment as fast as possible I will try and stop the bleeding. (Investigate)." My magic begins to probe the wound and I'm able to find a strange thing stuck inside the man.

The nurse comes with all the tools then begins to sanitize them. Once I receive them I immediately remove the thing from the person and use the spell Holy Arc on the person healing the wound.

"Once this man wakes call me, I need to ask him questions about what happened." The weapon that was used to shoot him, if I'm able to reproduce them maybe I can speed up my plans.

Or will it lead to the situation like in Holy City-States? Maybe but we don't have a Rom Empire breathing down on us though.
