If being isekai'd doesn't make you a MC, then regressing ought to.

[Oh, Chosens ones!] The otherwordly being announced. [Listen.] Summoned. Transmigrated. Isekai’d into a world of magic and swords. Fantasy and Wonders. Not unlike the countless novels I used to binge-read all day and night. A dearest fantasy and wish of mine has been granted. In this new world fraught with wars and attrition, I sincerely believe that I was the one destined to usher in an era of peace and prosperity. However, reality was different from fiction. And reality taught me multiple things. It taught me that the reality of my situation was different from my fantasies. Being isekai'ed in a world fraught with wars and conflicts, without a special ability, without a cheat power. In a world where strength determines everything, from your worth to your social standing. In such a world, being an ordinary high school graduate whose only act of violence perpetrated happen while in middle school, was a death sentence. It taught me that I was not special. In fact, I was even a defunct product. “I mean, it’s not expected for someone of the Warrior class or even the Archer class to be able to use magic. If we could, we wouldn’t be in this class after all. But how the fuck are you unable to use your class abilities, kid? Just dump points in a skill and use one.” “What? A warrior that doesn’t have a single skill? No. Someone from the warrior class that can’t use a skill. What the fuck! You’re literally trash. Then what good are you for?” “Typical, I should have guessed it. Africans sure are trash. Your area followed by South America are always the one with the greatest casualties percentage. How the fuck did you even pass the Rite of Passage? Useless fuck.” It taught me that I was and will amount to nothing. “Even as a meatshield, you wouldn’t last long enough to be of use…” “Why haven’t you said anything until now? Why??? Useless fuck, if we live after this, I swear that I’m going to beat the shit out of you, you fucking bastard!” It taught me that that training, careful work, perseverance and diligence will only be viewed as one person’s talent and genius instead of hard-work. “Have you heard of this guy?” “Ian Bosworth, you mean?” “Yeah, he became a Ranker in… just 4 years… that’s crazy fast. With this kind of talent, there’s a real chance that he made it to High Ranker too.” “I know a pal of mine that says he team up with him, he swear the guy was apparently trash.” “Really? A guy that reaches level 5 under a Gen? Bullshit. It’s just guild propaganda to make you believe that if a supposed good-for-nothing can do it, you can too. Just bullshit.” It taught me that even after reaching the peak of what was possible to reach short of being a god... that because of the path I treading upon, I was destined to be the Protagonist stepping stone. I took exception to that. If by virtue of being Isekai'ed doesn't confer me the status of the Protagonist and all that entails, then rewinding time, and starting everything from scratch, thus becoming a Regressor, ought to.

The Golden Girl: just bet

"I didn't ask to be in the middle of your ego-battle", I grumble. Luka pins me to my locker, hands resting on either side of my head. "Well , you got it in anyways, Darling," he whispers. His face inches away from mine and damn me for licking my lips. I am NOT falling for these guys. And then, at corner of my eyes I spot Jayden and his gang approaching. well, that's just great. ------ The West and East gang of Tygerwell have been at each other's throats since the dawn of time. And the two leaders of these Gangs want to end the fight, once and for all. But fight with fists is easy. Fighting with wit and charm, is a whole other ball game. Luke Watson. West-side gang leader. Length jackets and killer glare. Don't talk back. Jayden Steward. East-side gang leader. Fancy coat and toxic stare. Don't resists. And in comes Sofia. Hair of gold and ocean in her eyes. Has too much sass for her own good and always, ALWAYS, manages to get into middle of trouble. But these boys have no idea who they've really dealing with. And when Sofia discovers she knows a little too much when it comes to guns and fighting, she has to question everything she thought she knew about herself. Three can play this game -------- "Let's settle this. You got rejected, I got rejected. It's only fair that the fate of the Gangs be on who gets the girl first." "That sounds rather good, Watson. I'll take that bet on the golden girl."

Fairy-Struck

Amy Sumida is the Internationally Acclaimed author of the Award-Winning Godhunter Series, the fantasy paranormal Twilight Court Series, the Beyond the Godhunter Series, the music-oriented paranormal Spellsinger Series, the superhero Spectra Series, and several short stories. Her books have been translated into several languages, have won numerous awards, and are bestsellers. She believes in empowering women through her writing as well as providing everyone with a great escape from reality. Her stories are full of strong women and hot gods, shapeshifters, vampires, dragons, fairies, gargoyles... pretty much any type of supernatural, breathtakingly gorgeous man you can think of. Because why have normal when you could have paranormal? Born and raised in Hawaii, Amy made a perilous journey across the ocean with six cats to settle in the beautiful state of Oregon which reminds her a lot of Hawaii but without the cockroaches or evil sand. When she isn't trying to type fast enough to get down everything the voices in her head are saying while her kitties try to sabotage her with cuteness, she enjoys painting on canvases, walls, and anything else that will sit still long enough for the paint to dry. She prefers antiques to modern furniture, tea to coffee, night to day, and Tom Hardy to Tom Hiddleston. No; Tom Hiddleston to Tom Hardy. No, wait... Tom Hardy and Tom Hiddleston to Tom Cruise. Yes, that's it. I keep the world safe from his people, but now he's the one protecting me. The Sluagh has come for me and nothing stops them. The monsters of Fairy chitter and cackle and screech all around us while Tiernan holds me tightly, hiding us within his magic. Under the cover of some roots, his body laid over mine, we wait. His lips brush my cheek. Our rapid breaths merge. My palms press against his chest, molding to his muscles and pulsing with his heartbeat. The terrifying sounds around us echo into silence but as I stare into his silver eyes I know the danger hasn't passed. This man—this fairy hunter—could tear apart my world.
