292. Moonsnake Part I ~Oh, Dear...~

First Reality: Earth-D4C-Grimm

Nicholas Burkhardt and Heinrich Burkhardt were born on June 18, 2002. They were both born to Reed and Kelly Burkhardt. However, a Royal by the name of Willem Larson Goderich Pucci, a member of the House of Kronenberg, kidnapped the boy.

The kidnapping was covered up, and it was said that Reed and Kelly only had one child.

The royals then killed Reed in a car crash 12 years later, in 2013. Kelly was presumed dead, yet escaped.

After a few more years, Nicholas Burkhardt grew to become an exceptional cop, detective, and later Grimm. With the help of Monroe, he investigated the crimes of Wesen throughout his first few years as a Grimm. He gained friends: Monroe, a Blutbad, Rosalee, a Fuchsbau, Hank, a Human, Wu, a Human as well, Bud, an Eisbiber, Sean, a half-Zauberbiest, Trubel, a Grimm, and Juliette, his girlfriend.

Though, at one point, he lost his powers and needed to sleep with his girlfriend after breathing a gift. She then became a Hexenbiest and betrayed Nick.

Around this time, Prince Kenneth Alun Goderich Bowes-Lyon killed his mother, sent by Juliette, the traitor. Nick challenged him, but Keneth killed him. Kenneth killed each and every one of Nick's family, and soon became a renowned hero by the Royals. He even took down the Black Claw.

One day, however, in 2037, Kenneth finds out something strange. Horrified and angered by this truth, he kills his lover, Juliette, and destroys all of the House of Kronenberg.

Reality Two: Earth D4C-Wesen

Nick then went on to take down the Black Claw and defeat the Zerstorer. He even married his old rival, Adalind, and had a child with her. He later went on to become a fighter against the secret Organizations of the Dark Quartz Organization...

It's night outside... Clear skies... Stars are bright...

Nick places his Flag at the front.

Suddenly, Gabrielle eats it with her Five-Star General.

Nick does a "What the hell is this?" gesture with his hand and leans backward.

"That was your Flag, wasn't it?"

The pair are playing Game of Generals, a Filipino board game.

"How are you supposed to win if you can't see your opponent's pieces?" asked Nick.

Note: All the pieces are metal and are chair-shaped, and their ranks are written at the back of the "chair".

"There's a version where all my pieces face you instead."

"Great! Let's do that!"

"But yours would have to face me," smiled Gabrielle.

"How are you supposed to win if you can't see your own pieces?"

"That's the challenge, Nick," shrugged Gabrielle. "It's about understanding and manipulating your own environment against your opponent's environment. When each opponents' environment overlaps, one must use their wits to succeed."

Narcos rocks Mikaela left to right. He gives Gabrielle a thumbs-up and she gives him a thumbs-up as well.

"We're here!"

The bus finally reaches the top of the mountain. They reach a walled-off section of the mountain, and everywhere around it is walled off except for a person-sized door in front of them now.

They all walk out of the bus and face the door.

"Well? Shall we?" asked Nick.

"Go inside that thing?" asked Monroe. "Won't we... die? Shouldn't we have a plan?"

"The deal was that we go in there and Mercuria fights Kesha," said Gabrielle.

Everyone turns to Mercuria.

"She killed my sister!" she yelled.

"Understandable," said Narcos.

"Can we eat the bad guys we kill?" asked Foo Fighters, smiling adorably.

"Yeah, sure," said Gabrielle. "Hay Naku..."

"Probably, not anyone of us will die at the end of this," said Victoria.

"Well? We should probably open the door and get in," said Nick.

Gabrielle grabs and turns the knob, slowly.

The seven, Gabrielle, Narcos, Mercuria, Foo Fighters, Nick, Monroe, and Victoria, enter the wall...

Before them, they see a brunet man wearing a brown jacket, black boots, and black pants. He has a holster on his back for what looks like a scythe. Yes... it's a fucking scythe. Holy shit that's fucking awesome, dude! Ahem... Kezungteit.

"It's 'Gezundheit'," said Prometheus.

Shut the fuck up.

"Yeah, it is," said Miguel. "Has he been doing this the whole time? Botching our lines and shit?"

Fuck yourself, JoJo.

"That's a 'yes,'" said JoJo. "Alright."

BACK TO THE SCENE!!!

"People often say Grimms were so fucking badass in the olden days. I always heard that. I actually believed that.Then I killed a version of your mother and you here...What a letdown!Then I learned of my heritage shortly after killing you and your mother..."

He slowly turns around.

Nick's eyes widen.

"Or should I say, our mother?" asked the man. He resembles Stephen but has brown hair instead of black.

Nick clenches his jaw and clenches his fists.

Gabrielle backs away and begins hyperventilating, beginning to have flashbacks of seeing Stefan beating his father on the news.

"No!" she yelled.

"What's wrong?" asked Narcos.

"He killed my father!" tears flowed down her eyes as she trembled.

"Stefan? Isn't he dead?" asked Mercuria.

"He should be," said Gabrielle.

"He must be a variant of Stefan," said Narcos.

"In our world, he goes by a different name," said Nick, as he takes out his axes, Weather Report, and approaches the man.

"Oh, come on, now!" laughed the man. "Don't be so stupid. Wouldn't you like to show some affection of your long-lost fraternal twin brother?"

"You're a liar, Kenneth," said Nick.

Nick continues approaching Kenneth.

Gabrielle sees the ground and for some reason, all the grass in a 30-meter diameter around Kenneth is facing away from him.

"Nick, wait," said Gabrielle.

Nick spins and tosses his ax toward Kenneth.

Suddenly, the ax somehow "falls" back to Nick after getting 15 meters close to Kenneth, who catches it.

"Why do you think I was so adept at killing Superhuman soldiers blessed by the very God of the Israelites?" asked Kenneth, who sneers.

Nick ran toward Kenneth but he "falls" behind Kenneth.

Everyone's eyes widen.

"Well? I believe this is around the time that we're going to try and kill each other." Kenneth smiled psychotically.

Gabrielle sighs. "Monroe?"

"Yeah?" asked Monroe.

"Protect Mikaela," said Gabrielle.

Monroe nods and runs outside the door and into the bus.

Gabrielle, Mercuria, Victoria, and Narcos all woge, release their Stands, and charge (along with Foo Fighters).

"STONE FREE!!!"

"KISS!!!"

"CALL ME MAYBE!!!"

"COLDPLAY!!!"

Foo Fighters transform into sludge.

Kenneth laughs. His eyes turn black and their faces reflect on his in each of their eyes.

Suddenly they "fall" away from Kenneth in different random directions.

Narcos thwips out icicles and shot them toward Kenneth, but the icicles curve their trajectories and are shot back at Narcos, whose Stand catches all.

"Well?" asked Kenneth. "Is this all you could do?"

"Probably, you cannot use your Stand," said Victoria.

"That's impossible. A Stand-User can always use their Stands!" laughed Kenneth.

"Then probably you do not feel very well," she whispered.

However, Victoria is the one who feels dizzy. She then drops to the ground.

"ORA!!!" Stone Free blasts its fists into Kenneth, but her fists' damaging attacks "fall" back to her, injuring her by her own Stand.

Gabrielle, confused, created clackers with her strings by spinning the ends of her string into sphere-like structures as she swung them at Kenneth, but the clackers return to her, injuring her in the legs as she falls to the ground.

Meanwhile...

The baby begins to cry on the bus and is rocked by Monroe.

"It's okay! Your Mommies and your Uncles and Aunts are just fighting a very bad man!"

Monroe sighs as he keeps rocking the baby girl.

Back to the fight...

Kenneth shot several more icicles back at Narcos, who catches them all.

Kiss punches Kenneth over and over with four arms, but her attacks are countered.

Foo Fighters eat Kenneth, but she ends up eating herself and regenerating.

Foo Fighters decides to transform into her normal body and shoots at Kenneth with the tip of her index finger, as bioluminescent algae are shot from her fingertip at the speed of bullets, but the bullets return to her and shoot her. She regenerates, however.

Victoria is on the ground, puking.

Mercuria is preparing to duplicate her arms with Kiss.

Foo Fighters decides to morph her arm into a gigantic hammer and prepares to smash Kenneth.

"EVERYONE STOP ATTACKING!!!" cried Gabrielle.

Everyone woges back to normal.

Suddenly, Kenneth raised all of them up, choking them with gravity, pulling the walls of their inner throats toward each other.

"You want to know how my powers work? Simple. My Stand allows me to control the concept of 'gravity.' It allows me to control fate as I have never once before. The reason why you can't touch me is that my Stand, Moonsnake, allows me to counter the gravity you generate with your own will back to you."

"So... what if a Stand only controls its own environment... an environment that overlaps with yours?" asked Nick.

Kenneth laughs. "Ah... Nick... It was a shame that I had to kill your family after cutting off your head... I never knew the truth... It killed me when I learned my true self that I slaughtered my surrogate family. But I found a new purpose... Through Tooru... He showed me a new world I could achieve..."

"Where a bunch of fascist aliens destroy all life?" asked Nick.

"Oh, you don't know, do you?" laughed Kenneth.

"What are you talking about?" asked Nick.

"We're under new management. Why do you think Cryptids were joining in the party, lately?"

"Who?"

"I don't know! Someone who has better skill sets? No one's seen her before!"

"'Her?' She's a Gem?"

"Yes... and no..." smiled Kenneth. "Ah... too bad you'll never know."

"You know..." said Nick. "I enjoyed stabbing you in the neck. What I would've enjoyed more was cutting off your head."

"Ooh! Feisty!"

"Which is what I'll be doing NOW!!!WEATHER REPORT!!!"

*CRACKLE!!!*

Clouds begin to surround Nick.

*ZAP!!!*

A lightning strike nearly struck Kenneth, but some sort of forcefield prevented Kenneth's death.

"Oh, my. You've become a Stand-User as well? Who should we call you now? The Grimm of Thunder?"

"This is my new reality now, apparently.Honestly, not at all that different."

"Stands are like a weird extra body we control or whatever," said Mercuria.

"Like someone's body that we get inside of instead of someone going inside of us!" smiled Narcos.

"Sure," shrugged Gabrielle.

"You mean spirit, right?" asked Victoria.

"I don't get the correlation," said Narcos.

*GASP!!!*

Kenneth begins to turn blue.

"Let us go... or die... violently..." said Nick, with a terrifying stare.

Kenneth chokes and struggles to breathe. He stumbles back.

"I clogged your throat with carbon dioxide," said Nick. "Yep... I can sense air chemistry now."

"How?" wheezed Kenneth.

"I literally have no idea.Anywho..."

Kenneth began to bleed from his nose.

"Well, Kenneth?" asked Nick. "Will you or will you not? I'm happy to continue and take your head as a prize. Be it a thank you for decapitating our mother."

Kenneth lets go of all of them and they drop to the ground.

Kenneth falls down as well.

Nick approaches him, but Kenneth shifts gravity as Nick falls down, but then...

He begins to float.

"Are you serious right now!?" asked Kenneth, standing up slowly.

Nick is flying. His jacket flows like a cape.

Kenneth sighs and takes out his scythe. His Stand, Moonsnake (just a green version of Whitesnake) appears from behind him.

He points at Nick with his Scythe. "Stay back."

Nick takes out both his axes, crosses them above his head as lightning struck both of them. Lightning begins to surround Nick as it rains heavily.

The rain falls away from Kenneth, leaving a dry circle with a 15-meter radius.

Nick approaches Kenneth, who backs away.

As he backs away, the circle of dry grass "follows" him and the water that used to be on the grass "falls" away from him.

Now away from the group (and the bus), Kenneth twitches out of fear.

"You're going to tear that wall and let us in," said Nick. "You may say that you're my brother. But I know what you are. What you really are. You're an egotistic spoiled rich kid. You grew up in a wealthy royal family and can't take no for an answer. Hard to believe that we're brothers."

Gabrielle and Victoria subtly look at each other.

"Now... You're going to tear that wall down, or I'm splitting that head of yours open like a watermelon."

Kenneth sighs. "Goddamn, Nick. I really do love the way you trash talk your enemies. It's adorable!"

"You leave. We leave. You got that?"

"For now?"

"For now."

Kenneth sighs. "Very well!"

Kenneth takes out his hand and crushes the wall before the bus. He removes the rubble and gently takes it away.

"Tooru isn't going to be happy with this," sighed Kenneth. "Now... Get your stupid asses inside."

Nick smirks with a raised eyebrow as he walks past Kenneth. The group follows after Nick. Gabrielle gives Kenneth an angry look in the eye and walks away.

The group enters the bus as the bus enters the vicinity. Kenneth is nowhere to be seen.

"Great job, Nick!" smiled Gabrielle. "You learned a little something from me!"

"Yep."

"Think you can beat me in -?"

"Nope."

"Come on! I wanna win again! I mean, have fun-!"

"Red flag. Double nope."

"I'll try!" smiled Narcos.

"Nope," said Gabrielle.

"Why?"

"Because you keep cheating by freezing the pieces to a certain temperature!"

"That's called resourcefulness!"

"Like that time with the Mambabarang?"

"That was different! I was saving Nick's life!"

"Huh..." sighed Monroe. "I did absolutely nothing this chapter." He told the baby he held.
