Talk with Evelyn.

"Hey Bozo! get ready for round two!"

Rexplode shouted as he threw his exploding pennies at Kevin and jumped off the flying car thing that was probably made by the Robot they had as team leader.

The projectiles did nothing as they exploded on his face, and he simply dusted himself off.

"Well, well,well. If it isn't the C list hero, are you sure you shouldn't be part of the fight force? Your clown attitude would fit right in"

"Yeah I'm sure you'd fit right in the lizard league, I'm sure green would be a good color on you"

Rex fired back, but rather than return the insult, Kevin grasped his chin and thought about it.

"Do you think so? I mean, back when Queen Lizard was still around, the lizard league had some baddies not gonna lie"

Rex and his two other teammates found themselves a bit puzzled by his response.

"How about we stop talking and apprehend this guy?"

Duplikate queried, deciding that she didn't need to have a conversation with the villain, as she too jumped off the flying car and took a battle ready stance. However, Kevin wasn't keen on fighting more today and prepared to run.

"What do you mean apprehend me, I haven't done anything"

Kevin said feeling offended that his innocence was being tarnished in such a way.

"You don't get to say that when there's a destroyed Burger Mart joint behind you"

Rex responded, pointing towards the building and decided he's going to put belt to ass the next time he sees Kill cannon, he can't suffer such a ridiculous cliché so early.

"Kill cannon did that so, Why don't you go after him?"

"OK we will go after him, but you also robbed a bank a few days ago so you aren't exactly innocent"

"Actually I am. Banks are pyramid schemes that take your money and never give it back, did you know that if you have 300 million you can't take it all out? What kind of Bullshit is that?"

Kevin explained and the teen team seems to be at a loss for words or rather, what he said while technically true, it was also completely irrelevant to him being innocent or not.

"Still doesn't make you innocent, Bozo!"

"Agree to disagree, Wet rag"

Rexplode creased his brows, this guy was starting to actually piss him off, there's nothing to agree to disagree on, he's just guilty. He looked at Duplikate and both nodded as they prepared to attack, how they were stopped by Eve.

"Hold on, guys, let me talk to him"

Eve flew down as she said all that, and Kevin couldn't help but look at her curiously. There was literally nothing to talk about.

"Absolutely not. Last time he got away, we can't let that happen again"

Rex was quick to complain, turning his head and attention towards Eve, and Kevin smirked. This happened last time, and he got away thanks to it.

"He only got away because you distracted me, not to mention you couldn't even do anything against and he knocked you out"

"He only got lucky because I wasn't prepared. This time, it will be different"

And so once again Rex and Eve began going back and forth, completely forgetting about the villain they were supposed to apprehend.

"Both of you shut up. This is exactly what Robot was talking about. Let's focus on getting this guy, alright"

Kate chose to quickly turn her attention to the two and shut their argument down, but unfortunately, by the time they refocused, Kevin was already gone.

"Oh come on, Eve, really!! You let him get away again"

The young hero threw his hands in the air as he complained to his team mate and Eve quickly responded, not willing to take the sole blame for their blunder.

"How is this my fault? You're the one who started an argument distracting me"

Kate could only palm her face. While she wanted to blame them, she also got distracted, so she's at fault as well.

Seeing the two argue, she decided to let them be and use her close to look for Kevin, but unfortunately, she couldn't find anything, so the teen team decided to just leave.

The great thing about being able to absorb any form of matter was that you can easily and quite literally blend into the background, like a chameleon.

"She seems to think she can make me a hero"

Kevin said he opened his eyes, revealing that he had blended onto the wall of a nearby house.

'I don't get it, though. Like sure, I think she's hot, but it's not like we've had that many opportunities to speak'

He thought as he began walking towards another place where he could get food. He was unable to get anything to eat all, and he could feel his stomach was empty.

"Does she think because we're both lab babies that we're somehow the same?"

He questioned. Eve, much like him, was made in a Lab, by crazy military scientists that wanted to use her as a weapon. In essence he is the only person in the world who is like her and is something close to a sibling so it made sense.

'Yeah sorry Eve but we aren't siblings. That would definitely be weird'

He thought.

"I mean, aren't we similar?"

He immediately stopped and looked towards the voice that spoke to him, and there she was, leaning against the wall in an alley with a confident smirk on her face. One Kevin couldn't help but like.

"Eve-dropping is so unflattering, and what do you mean by we're "similar"?"

He asked jokingly and she giggled in amusement, rather than get out of the alley, Kevin followed her in, he supposed as a member of the teen team she couldn't be seen with him, even though she's wearing civilian clothing.

"I mean, both of us were grown in a lab. We have similar powers, and we both had a hand in destroying a secret military base when we were younger."

"I'm not going to disagree, but similarities end there, plus you're a hero, and I'm a criminal at present, so…"

He said leaning against the wall himself and they stood facing each other.

"All you've done so far is rob banks, nothing major, you can still be a hero"

She said, her tone soft and endearing and Kevin couldn't help but feel she was trying to talk no jutsu him into being a hero.

"I mean it is tempting, especially if I get to work with you in your sexy supersuit"

He said, scratching his chin, while also feeling the small hairs on it, giving him hope of getting a beard one day.

A/N: As you can tell this fic will probably be less serious than my usual stuff. I'm trying to make something a little light hearted and fun to write and read.
