Exodus Prayer William is one of the only two surviving members of the most revered party on Earth. After his party defeated the Demon Lord that suddenly appeared on Earth and turning the world into madness and chaos, William was exalted as a hero and his name was immortalized.
It didn't last long, however.
The sudden disappearance of the system was met with both joy and confusion. The world soon regained its social structure and order was restored.
It was until the world found out that the hero William can still use his powers, and reverence began to turn into fear. The world one-sidedly decided that he was a threat to society and planned to kill him. His wife, the last remaining member of his party, sacrificed herself to let William escape. As the world was busy restoring itself, William the Hero was slowly forgotten and his existence become nothing more but a fragment of the past.

10 years later, a pillar of light descended on the cold land of Antarctica and all humans heard the familiar, mechanical-sounding message once again. The nightmare that still haunts veterans who fought in the frontlines was once again descended on this land.

The nightmares of the other world descended upon the world once again, and everyone was desperately trying to find the forgotten hero but no one knew where he was. No one knew if he is still alive. And the most important thing, no one knew if their forgotten hero is still on the side of humanity.
