"And then I saw papa crying so I ran over and gave him a big hug. Papa immediately stopped crying. It's my super move, Star Hug!" Star explained excitedly to my mother as she fed him a fritter.
He had just melted her heart with his cuteness as she cooed over him, grabbing him into her lap. Honestly, I don't think anyone can withstand the cuteness that is my little baby boy.
Luminara, now out of her artificial womb, was also being pampered by her grandfather.
Ace and Saraswati were playing Mario Kart in the corner with my little brother, while Riley and Yue were discussing body modifications and magic monster physiologies.
Sitting there with Wanda resting her head on my shoulder, I couldn't help but feel like the happiest guy in the multiverse. Now if only Offee was here. I almost regretted sending Jay away with his Offee. If I just mind wiped her and kept her.....
I shook my head and leaned on Wanda, butterflies fluttering in my stomach as I reached down and grabbed her hand, our finger intertwining.
"Say, big brother, are all the worlds from fiction real?" My brother turned around and asked.
"Yeah."
"So Pokemon?"
"Yeah. I have a Lucario and Arceus in my zoo downstairs."
"And Harry Potter?"
"Yes. I took the kids to a fair over there a while back."
"It was magical! I got to ride a unicorn!" Saraswati chirped.
"The candy was delicious." Ace added.
"I wanted to take a couple back home to dissect but Papa didn't let me." Riley pouted.
"I got you a dragon for your birthday, didn't I?" I reminded.
"But unicorns are the dream of every girl, papa! I wanted to put them together with my drones. Just imagine how cool they'd have been. Unicorn spiders! Flying unicorn dragon spiders!" Riley gushed and thankfully my parents didn't realize the true meaning of what she meant or they'd have been horrified. Reading their minds I could tell they thought she was talking about plush toys or something. I sighed in relief.
This girl and her spider obsession.
I better keep her away from spider-man or I'll have to deal with Parker and his infamous bad luck. Everyone who ever comes close to him gets majorly fucked up. Over half his rogues gallery is made up of his friends and family, with the occasional teacher and acquaintance thrown in for flavour. I don't want my little girl to be misled like that. If Parker wants my little girl's hand in marriage....hmph, I'll have to be a strong papa and kick him out.
I think I have a shotgun lying somewhere around here.
I chuckled.
"And what about Dragonball Z?" My brother asked.
"Surprisingly, that's not real."
"Really?" He looked disappointed.
"Nah. I'm just fucking with you." I laughed, "I'll take you there whenever you want."
"Can we go now?"
"Now?" I asked.
"You said anytime." He pointed out.
"Sure, why not?" I shrugged, "Star, you wanna come along? We're going to Dragonball."
"I wanna go!" He jumped up.
"Me too!" Ace added, so did Saraswati.
"Me three."
"Why don't we all go? Right honey?" My mother said, holding Star's reins tight in a hug.
"Yes. Can't let you drag him off to strange worlds alone." My father added. Luminara wee-d as he put her on his shoulders.
"Are you coming, Yue, Riley?"
Riley nodded.
"I'll go anywhere with Jay~" Yue purred and teleported over to me, hugging my arm.
"Alright." I opened a portal to the Dragonball cluster my ship had been hiding in.
.
"It's all barren." My brother noted.
"Yeah. Most of their world is like this. There's an extremely convenient number of wild and barren areas on this Earth. wildlife is also flourishing. Honestly, it's a nature paradise for the most part. But if you really want to go see the cities-"
"I want to go see the dinosaurs!" Riley said and Yue's eyes twinkled.
"Me too." She said.
"Alright. Meet us in the city when you're done." I waved them goodbye as they disappeared.
"Anyone else have anything they want to do?"
"I wanna fight Goku!" Saraswati jumped up and down excitedly.
"You'll just end up killing him." I told her.
"I'll hold back."
I gave her a doubtful look.
"Promise!" She insisted.
"Okay. But Ace will go with you."
"I want to meet Goku too!" My brother said.
"Sure. Ace, could you take them to goku. And make sure these two idiots don't hurt themselves."
"Hey, shouldn't you be saying that to the responsible adult." My little brother protested.
"I am." I replied with a cheeky grin causing my parents and Wanda to laugh.
"I will take care of them, Papa! Don't worry." Ace hugged me, as I patted her head before they left too.
"Now let's go to the city. I can see you are dying to pamper your grandchildren." I smiled as I looked at my parents.
"We are. But won't the currency be different?" My mother wondered.
"Trust me, you won't need to pay for anything, Ma. I'll handle it."
"How can we let our son pay for it!" My father refused flatly, "Elders aren't supposed to take money from the young!"
Goodness. Him and his old fashioned values. I sighed. I could see my mother roll her eyes at his stubbornness. But she knew as well as me that he wasn't one to change his mind that easily.
I looked at her and gestured her to relax.
I'd handle this.
"Oh Pa, I won't be paying for it either. I can just move money from some random bank account to a fake one. I'll even put it in your name." I assured him.
"You're going to steal, you mean. Stealing is bad, or have you forgotten your morals." My father chastised.
Oof. If he knew the other things I have done.....
"I'll take it from a terrorist cell's account. That way I'll be doing the world some good. If the terrorists don't have money, they won't be able to hurt anyone, so technically, I'll be doing a good deed by stealing from them." I explained.
My father pursed his lips, thinking over the dilemma before looking up at Luminara on his shoulders as his grandfatherly urges overtook his morals.
"Okay. Just this once." He acceded.
I grinned.
Good job, Luminara.
Just then, a portal opened up in the sky as four figures shot out from it, landing near us in a cloud of dust.
My mother screamed in fright and shielded Star instinctively, so did my father.
"Relax, Ma, Pa. It's fine." I said, my forcefield blocked all of the dust.
"What's happening?" My father asked.
"It's uh.... you'll see." I said, swiping my hand the dust was swept away, revealing the four figures who had just landed here.
Four women, holding four children, each nearly three, the same age as Luminara.
Galatea, Tattletale, Paige and String Theory. And my four kids.
"Creator." Galatea expressed happily as she came over, holding one of the twins in her arms.
"Good job." I smiled, "But I distinctly remember telling you to take them to the ship?"
"Apologies, creator. The signal disappeared yesterday. So I brought the offspring to the last known location and detected you en route."
Oh, right. I isolated the ship in the void along with the Magicians multiverse.
In all that action and haste I almost forgot about them being en route to the ship.
"That's okay I'll just give you the coordinates to the ship you can take them to-"
"Oh baby, you ain't getting rid of that easy~" String Theory giggled.
"No way!" Tattletale butted in, "I'm not leaving. Not after all this work. Not ever." She tried to grab me and I froze her in her tracks before she hit my forcefield and hurt my baby.
She frowned as I snatched my son from her hands and stuck out a tongue at her.
"Give my son back!" She snapped at me.
"Our son. And no. He's staying with me now."
"What is this? Who are they?" My father asked.
"They are uh...how do I explain this.... remember when my wife died and I wasn't in the best state of mind and....mistakes were made."
"Mistakes?" My mother scowled.
"Don't you dare call our love a mistake! It was the happiest time of my life." Paige said with a look of obsession, "I can't live without you, Jay. Darling, please give me one more chance! For our kids."
"As you can see." I rubbed my temples.
"And you made faces when we had the talk." My father scoffed, "I already know it, Pa, you said, didn't you?"
"I used protection, Pa. I-ow!" My mother smacked my head.
"Oh lord almighty, forgive my child." She prayed, "I knew you were going to be a deviant when you stopped attending church. How many women have you left bearing your children? You philandering child!" She pinched my ear.
"Well, I did say it was a wild ride."
"How many?"
"A couple."
"A couple?"
"Of planets' worth."
"Of planets-" Her eyes widened as she realised the scope of what I saying.
"Including a couple of actual planets thenselves."
"You... with a planet?" My father was shocked, "How does that even..."
"It's difficult to explain but I used a series of rays and potions to do it."
"Shameless." My mother twisted my ear. Or rather, she tried, and I let her, out of courtesy.
"Ow ow, Ma, I was 19. I was just having fun."
"And I'm right to assume you left them like this too?" She asked.
I remained silent and averted my gaze, whistling.
My mother sighed and shook her head.
"What will I do with this child...."
"I'm glad you said this mother!" Wanda jumped in enthusiastically, "Finally someone else who sees it my way!"
I gave her a dirty look and she just grinned mischievously.
"Oh you're enjoying this aren't you, honey?"
"Very much." Wanda giggled, "I wanted more sister wives anyways. Yue is too quiet."
I wrapped my hands around her waist and squeezed a feel.
"I'm glad someone is."
"You will go and get all of them together. Starting here. Is that understood?" My mother laid down the law.
"Yes madam!" I agreed.
She smiled a little and turned to the three women.
"Come dears. Show me my grandkids." She gestured the three women over as she cooed over her newest grandchildren.
"You will take responsibility and marry them. You've already broken the sanctity of marriage, having three wives, at the very least you have to be a responsible father."
"Oh c'mon Ma. It's not like that." I protested.
"Are they your children?"
"Yes but-" She smacked me again.
"Then you have to take responsibility!" She ordered.
"Just earlier you were saying how you didn't approve of me having three wives and now look at you."
"That was before I got to know them. They are good girls. And look at them, how beautiful they are. What is your problem? If you didn't want them to get pregnant, you should have been abstained."
"Didn't help Mary-ow!"
I pouted and rubbed my ear.
"After my wife died, I was broken. I didn't know what to do, Ma. I just wanted to be happy again. I didn't know she'd turn out to be crazy when I dayed her." I admitted, and my mother patted my head lovingly.
She didn't change her views though.
"They are mothers of my grandchildren and I did not raise a deadbeat. As for their problems..... A little bit of love will solve that. They have come so far. I'm not going to let you send them back."
Her grandchildren are just blocking all logic for her huh?
Well, I guess I don't mind Paige so much. I did plan on taking her back. Even Tattletale and String Theory.....
"Yes, baby. A little bit of love is all I need~" String Theory teased.
"String, let's not. I don't even know your first name."
"We can start now! It's Jackie by the way." She replied, clinging to me.
"Hey, don't leave me behind." Tattletale, no, Lisa jumped in.
"Alright, Jackie. And Lisa. Let me ask you one last time. Are you sure you want this?"
"Absolutely."
"100 percent."
I sighed and gave in.
For a moment I thought of erasing my parents' memories but I swore I wouldn't mess with their heads.
So here we are.
"Alright." I swiped my hands, cleaning them up and outfitting them in better clothes.
"You can come along. Going by the tatters you came here in, I'm guessing Galatea didn't exactly understand human customs like clothes and such."
"She used her powers to keep us clean and healthy." Paige shuddered, "She deemed replacements unnecessary and inefficient."
Oof. That bad huh?
I will have to update Galatea's systems once we get back to the ship.
"We're going shopping anyways. We'll get everything necessary for the kids too."
"Oh thank goodness." Lisa slumped in relief.
"I haven't been shopping in ages, no thanks to miss jailor here."
"Galatea was trying to keep you safe. But I get it. Come, let's go." I let Galatea take the kids as I held Paige by the hand lest she try something stupid. Like attack Wanda out of jealousy and get her head blown off.
I mean I can revive her but I didn't want to show such a scene to my parents.
Paige made a cute noise as she hugged my arm, melting my heart.
"I missed you darling." She whispered, "Now that I have you, I'm never letting go. Never. Hehehehehehe."
Man, her voice is so goddamn cute, even witht he creepy undertone. It's like chocloate fondue for my ears. And her soft little hug. Her fluffy feathers. Emotions flooded me as I remembered why I liked Paige so much and old feelings resurfaced.
She was cute. And fluffy. And she loved me.
And she gave me twins.
Gods, I've always wanted twins.
I reached down and kissed her head as a warmth spread throughout my chest.
Ah~ Is this why people get together with their toxic exes?
I couldn't help but feel a little happy with her at my side.
I could hear her panting lightly as she hugged me tighter. She quivered in my arms and let out a soft moan and wait did she- You know what I'm not even going to think about it. Not going to ruin the moment.
I just opened a portal, cast a cleaning spell on her and walked in.
