"Ella...?" Adeline's eyes widened. "Why would you do this to us?"
"I don't think I need to explain myself." Ella folded her arms. "Isn't it obvious?"
"Why would you—"
"I wasn't the one that brought you guys here. I'm just here to keep an eye on you two."
"Let us out! Please!"
"Let you out? Do you think I would be such a fool to listen to you?" Ella bursted into laughter. "I loathe you, Adeline...for everything!"
"If it's about Nicholas then—"
"It should've been me! I should've been the one by his side now!"
"You don't deserve to," Nicholas interrupted. "I love her, Ella. Nothing can change that."
"I know." Ella smiled. "But your love isn't what I want right now."
"You think you can—"
"She wants you both dead," a man in a black cap and leather jacket suddenly came and interrupted. "Is that right, Ella?"
"You..." Ella clenched her fist as she looked at the man. "W-What are you doing here?"
"I'm the one who brought them here. Are you telling me to leave?"
"No...I—"
"Good." The man looked at Nicholas and Adeline. "What should we do to this couple then? Who wants to go first?"
"I know you!" Nicholas flashed his eyes angrily at the man. "Are you afraid of getting caught? You were the one that killed Jacob's mother!"
"Well I would've have done that if it weren't for you."
"What have I done to you to make you treat me this way? If you have a grudge against me, then go after me—"
"It's better seeing you suffer for a longer time isn't it?"
"You..." Nicholas' eyes widened. "W-Why do you sound so familiar...? Are you—"
The man brought out a knife and pointed it to Nicholas' neck. "Don't you think you're asking too much questions?"
"I think you're the one that's gotta explain yourself first." Adeline rolled her eyes. "You've abducted us without even telling us the reason why. Don't you wanna get things done easily?"
"What I want couldn't be taken back." the man glared at her. "That's why one of you aren't coming out alive today."
"Oh my, we're so scared!" Nicholas giggled. "Oh my, someone save us!"
"You think this is a joke?"
"Seems like one."
"Enough!" the man slammed the table in front of Nicholas. "I guess this won't end if I don't end your life."
"Okay, go on."
"Hmmmm..." the man placed his hand under his chin. "Maybe It's better to go with Adeline first." the man smiled.
Ella's eyes widened. "Didn't I tell you not to—"
"We follow my plan, not yours." the man folded his arms. "You follow me."
"Seems like you just forced her," Nicholas interrupted, "you son of a murderer."
"What did you say?"
"Surprised? I'm sure of who you are now. It's too obvious."
"How dare you call my father a—"
"Why? Isn't it true? Your father was the one that killed your mother! No matter how much you deny it, you'll always end up like your father in prison."
The man punched the wall before flashing his eyes angrily at him. "Do not talk about them now!"
"Why not? Are you ashamed of it?"
"You!"
"Go on. I'm waiting."
"How dare you—"
"Now you know I'm not lying when I said that."
"Then I guess there's no reason to keep myself hidden then." the man slowly removed his hat. "It's nice seeing you again, Nic."
Adeline's eyes mouth dropped open before looking at Nicholas. "Peter?"
"Seems like you're the only one who's surprised." Peter fixed his hair. "Shall we start this execution then?"
