( Where did you go ?) Xia asked Yunxi, who just came out from the bushes surrounding the pool.

Xia finished brushing her teeth, and turned around to give back the brush to Yunxi, but there wasn't anyone present. She was about to start looking for her , when she appeared.

" I couldn't hold it in , anymore. I went to ease myself. You can go do your business too, but don't wander far. " With that said, Yunxi pulled off her clothes, leaving her birthday suit, and jumped into the pool.

Xia instinctively turned her face , which was slightly red, and walked away to do her own morning business.

By the time she arrived, Yunxi was already done bathing, and had donned another black pants and a baggy hoodie. The scent of soap lingered.

" Get in there, and have a bath. " Yunxi gave Xia a sponge and soap to wash up.

Xia stepped away from her outstretched hand.

( No way! I don't like bathing. ) She declared.

Yunxi stopped ringling the water out of her hair, and faced Xia.

" You have two options. One, Get in there and have a bath, then I would carry you and allow you to follow me. Two, I forcibly do it for you. Choose one." Yunxi said with a smile.

Xia's mouth twitched. What was the difference between the two choices? It was the same! The first choice, she can't bathe by herself in the pool where the waterfall is high. She would be swept away by the high current. So, it was Yunxi's plan all along to bathe her.

Xia gulped down her saliva, after seeing Yunxi's smile. Her smile was frightening, and somehow suited her face, making her look stunningly devilish.

( Okay. I choose the second option. ) Xia said meekly.

" Good choice. You have mud and blood all over your beautiful fur . Wouldn't that stain your Royal prestige?" Yunxi asked as she washed Xia in the pool.

Xia's mood was sour, and she didn't answer Yunxi. Her teeth were clattering, as she shivered endlessly. The water was ice cold!

Look, she admits her fur looks like Elsa's hair , but she wasn't Elsa , alright?!

" There. There. All done." Yunxi said after drying Xia's fur.

Xia shaked her body vigorously, and got rid of the remaining water on her body.

( Let's go. We have spent hours here.) Xia looked at Yunxi with her sparkling eyes. Yunxi sighed and crouched down, making it easier for Xia to climb onto her shoulder.

( Onward!) Xia pointed forward, after settling down comfortably on Yunxi's shoulder.

Yunxi shaked her head slightly in amusement, and walked forward. She was also itching to fight more beasts and monsters. She could feel Xia's excitement through the bond.

At the waterfall, a team of students stood agape. They were all bloody and wounded. Some of them had disarrayed hair. It was Nalan's team. And it included the heartthrob of the school, Zhu Qian , and Cheng Rouyu's sister, Cheng Qingxue. She was Zhu Qian's current girlfriend. There were other students included, but it was mostly the talented.

" The ladies first. " Zhu Qian said, and the other males made way for the females to pass before retreating.

Cheng Qingxue stepped forward first. Her appearance was exactly like her sister, but she had an arrogant look on like she was untouchable. Although her sister also has that kind of air around her, hers wasn't so obvious.

" Someone was here before us. " She said. The other girls behind her also noticed the fragrant air, and the toothpaste on the floor.

" Let's just change out of these clothes. This stinky blood is making me uncomfortable. " Another girl said, tiredly.

The remaining girls were added except Nalan, who kept looking into the water.

' It's her. This is her scent. The blood on the ground….she must have killed some beast. ' She thought as she watched the girls voice out their discomfort.

" Alright. Let's go. " Cheng Qingxue finally relented. It seems her status among the girls was very high. She was also the strongest, richest, and beautiful among them.

Nalan joined them , and quickly had her bath. She was the first to leave, probably because she wasn't on good terms with the others or because she couldn't bear to listen to their gossip. It might be either of the two or neither.

An hour after she was done, the other girls came out, and the boys went ahead to clean up.

Soon, the males came out refreshed, and they had their meal before proceeding, along the same path Yunxi had taken.
