The Final Chapters of Arcania 1

Three days passed...I sat outside and hugged my knees and looked at the ground as Saya and Miyuna sat beside me, attempting to comfort me. I already called Zain about the news and it's been a while since I've heard him sound so broken. He hasn't called back in a while. I put my head down on my knees and closed my eyes, falling asleep as I was tired from all the crying I did. The fourth day, I woke up in a bed and sat up then looked around. Adriesta was sitting in a chair beside me with her arms crossed and eyes closed. I looked at her then laid back down. I turned my head to the wall then closed my eyes once again.

"Stella's been gloomy for four days..is there a way we can cheer her up?" Saya asked.

"I don't know much about Stella, but you should know something.." Azami said.

"Let's try...ta--" Miyuna spoke then heard an explosion.

All three ran outside and saw smoke coming from afar. They looked in shock and watched the smoke rise.

"It's coming from the Empire.." Saya said.

"Lazlord..?" Miyuna asked.

Adriesta opened her eyes as she heard the explosion as well. I sat up again then ran outside and saw Saya and the others. Himiya walked outside. It was the Capital that was the source of the explosion. My eyes glowed as I saw an object in the air. I used my enhanced vision and saw a person with a cloak and mask floating in the air.

"No way.." I said.

"What do you see Stella?" Saya asked.

"It's Unknown.." I said.

The area grew silent and Unknown flew towards us at high speeds. I pushed everyone back inside as Unknown got closer and Unknown summoned a sword and I summoned mine then he slashed down at me. I blocked the slash then a huge shockwave blew and caused the ground to break.

"I told you...this war is never over!" Unknown laughed. "Now, I have enough power to destroy Arcania and the entire world! The entire galaxy if I pleased!"

"How?!" I asked.

"I managed to get a strand of your hair to give me such power!" Unknown said.

"Oh no...he's got Stella's DNA..." Himiya said.

"Hey!" Kanon ran out of the home and held her sword out. Unknown landed and chuckled. Kanon let out a battlecry and dashed towards Unknown. "I won't allow you to destroy our home!"

Kanon slashed and I felt like my world had started to come to an end. He had all my abilities. Kanon just phased through Unknown and slid. She glared at Unknown and twirled her sword then dashed towards Unknown. She slashed again then Unknown parried her and stabbed her through her chest. My eyes widened as I saw the events.

"Kanon!" Victoria yelled.

"I...I still won't allow you...to take everything away from us.." Kanon dropped her sword and grabbed Unknown's arm and grunted as blood came from her mouth. "I won't give up...not now...not ever..!"

"Get off me." Unknown kicked Kanon off him then wiped the blood off his sword.

I quickly went to Kanon and held her up and she looked at me. She had a tear coming down her cheek as she looked at me.

"You...were always a good sister to me...Even before you married Zain...I always thought of you as a sister...I guess I won't make it to your 25th Birthday.." Kanon said.

"Don't close your eyes Kanon..!" I said and green aura appeared around my hands. "Please...I can't lose you and mom! I don't want to be alone anymore..!"

"You have...so many people by your side. You're never alone..." Kanon said and more tears came down her cheeks. "They are always...with you. Family is never who you were born from, but who you share the most memorable connections with...who you truly love. Your family is all around you...so never...say you're alone..."

"Kanon!" I caught her hand and watched her die in my arms.

My hair covered my eyes and Victoria looked at Kanon then at Unknown with hatred in her spirit. Kielazar held her back, but Victoria pushed Kielazar back out of rage.

"You'll pay for that..! I'll make...you suffer..!" Victoria said and was breathing heavy out of anger.

Veins were coming from Victoria's face. Her anger levels rose above normal levels. She lightly grunted and her aura surged wildly. She yelled and two large serpents appeared and spiralled around her then she dashed towards Unknown. Unknown was shocked and Victoria struck his face and broke his mask then blew him away. Everyone was shocked by Victoria's rage. Unknown slid back and Victoria appeared in front of him as her swords were now in hand then she spun and slashed. Unknown blocked and slid to the side. Victoria looked at him as hatred filled her soul. Unknown dodged her next attack then parried Victoria then stabbed her in the chest. Everyone froze in fear. Victoria stood there and her hair covered her eyes. Unknown took the sword from her chest then she fell to her knees.

"To think...my life ends here. I couldn't even stop one person...I failed my Mission as A Queen and Stella's retainer. No...I refuse to die here! I refuse to let everyone's dreams be for naught! I refuse to let you have your way! This feeling...This feeling inside me...The fire that burns inside me won't let me die! I must keep fighting! If you defeat me, you'll just go on to destroy the rest of Arcania! I won't allow you to do that..! I will stop you even if that's the last thing I do! Your reign of terror ends here and now!" Victoria stood up and demon horns grew from her head. "I will STRIKE YOU DOWN! I, Victoria III, am a Shangri-La! If you want to defeat me...then you're gonna have to do more than that!"

Victoria yelled and transformed into her demon form and dashed towards Unknown and her body flickered and she struck him on the stomach and blew him away. Unknown grunted and rebounded off the building and flew in the air. Victoria flew in the air as well and Kielazar was extremely surprised by this hidden power. Victoria's pure willpower to protect those she loves completely negated her death. Her spirit won't let her die until it knows there is nothing else she can do.

"She's had this power all this time..?" Saya asked.

Himiya was so impressed by Victoria's power. She watched her fight and decided that she wanted to be like her when she grew up.

"How does she have so much power?! She's matching my level?!" Unknown said and blocked her attacks.

"I will eradicate you!" Victoria bellowed and her voice echoed then she flew back and sent the serpent spirits at Unknown.

Unknown slashed and cut the spirits in two. The six spirits that were cut reshaped and turned into twelve tiny serpents and wrapped around him then fused together in one whole spirit. Victoria yelled and punched his face then sent him crashing to the ground. She dodged an energy blast and Unknown appeared above her and kicked her down. Victoria's aura surged and formed wings, preventing her from crashing to the ground. She landed on the ground and the wings vanished. Unknown landed on the ground and his green aura healed any damages he took then the green aura vanished.

"I don't know how you're this strong...but I will break you in pieces!" Unknown dashed towards Victoria.

Victoria gave a piercing glare and made Unknown freeze in his tracks then slashed quickly around him in all directions. Unknown blocked most of the attack, but got hit by some of the attacks and as he was hit he felt some of his strength being sapped away from him. She appeared above him and kicked off his face and flipped in the air. The six serpents appeared around her and crashed towards Unknown one by one.

"Azure Six Demons Shangri-La!" Victoria bellowed and flew towards Unknown and slashed six times and appeared behind him and opened her eyes. She stood up and felt his sword stab her right through her core. She grunted and blood came from her mouth.

"I admit...you...you gave me a run for my money...but in the end you just weren't enough." Unknown said and his spirit vanished back in his physical body then he took the sword from her body and Victoria fell on her knees and face first, dead.

"Victoria!" Kielazar ran to her and got on his knees and held her up then looked up at Unknown and glared. He was about to summon his sword then Adriesta stopped him.

"Go ahead demon...do you worst to me. You can never truly kill me. I'm always waking up after ever excruciating demise. I can never die, and my life itself is a curse by the gods themselves. I've done this so many times to the point where it's only second nature to me. War is the only thing I know, I live and breathe the heat of battle. I am always gonna wake up after death...even after all this time, I'm still looking for my child who is long dead. It's the only thing I know...All I know how to do is fight and kill and I will end that chain by killing you!" Adriesta summoned her rapier and pistol.

"Please...stop it...I don't want to lose anyone else.." I said.

Adriesta's red eyes glowed as flames surrounded her body and black lightning surged from her rapier. Unknown felt the otherworldly power from Adriesta. Aria did as well and knew she was connected to her friends Joshua, Sefia, Avani, and Kikuri. She looked at Adriesta with a lot of astonishment.

"I, Adriesta, The Scourge, will end you here and now!" Adriesta said and the eye on her hat opened and her power grew to limits that would seem impossible. "You will pay dearly for killing Kanon and Victoria...I will make you suffer."

The Goddess Powers of Adriesta had awakened. This was not normal awakening..this was Dream Awakening as people from her home country called it. She was not classified a Goddess, but had the powers that could kill one. Adriesta in a sense was as powerful as me. An interesting fact about her is Adriesta can not die under any circumstance. The gods cursed her with Immortality for a reason that is still unknown. Each time she dies, she wakes up in a different part of Utalia with no memory of what happened before her death...so if she dies in this battle...there is a chance I may never see her again.

"You're different from the rest of them. It's almost like...you're completely unbreakable. I can tell you've done this more times than you can count...but the thought of killing you is worth it. Let's get the battle started then!" Unknown laughed then was blown away as Adriesta pulled the trigger.

"Please...no...you'll die...he has the--" I started but Adriesta already dashed away and entered a fate that was no longer escapable.

Adriesta slashed and missed her attack as Unknown dodged her strike and kicked her away. He summoned Phantom swords and shot them at Adriesta one by one and kept summoning them. Adriesta slashed and shot them, destroying them one by one. She bellowed and blasted Unknown with a huge fireball and Unknown blocked the fireball with a Spirit Shield then sent a fireball of his own at her. She slashed through the fireball and it exploded then part of Arthvia was set on fire. The civilians yelled and retreated towards the nearest boats. I watched as my home was behind ripped apart slowly. This wouldn't have happened if I just destroyed the Empire like I originally planned to do. All of this was my fault. The death of Kanon and Victoria was my fault. The death of so many people was all my fault. Soon the death of my aunt...Adriesta will be my fault. Everything is my fault! Why?! Why did I have to reincarnate?! Why couldn't I have stayed dead?!

"Run where ever you desire! Your fate will be the same! You all will die!" Unknown laughed.

"Not if I have anything to say about it!" Adriesta dashed towards Unknown and slashed.

Unknown parried Adriesta and went for the fatal stab, but she avoided it and kneed his stomach and tossed her sword in the air and grabbed his face then slammed him to the ground and caught the handle of her rapier then stabbed Unknown. Reality reverted back to normal for her and saw she stabbed Ashe. Her eyes widened as Ashe chuckled lightly. She stepped away from her and panted.

"Don't you see?! I'm undefeated! Just as I can't truly kill you, you can not truly harm me. I bend reality in the way that I desire and I will control everything in this world, this universe! I am your God!" Unknown laughed and punched Adriesta's face and sent her crashing through a building.

"No..please not Ashe!" Tia said and ran towards Ashe and grabbed the handle of the sword.

"No...you'll kill me faster that way.." Ashe said.

"But-" Tia started to cry as she didn't want to lose Ashe.

"It's alright...I...will be just fine.." Ashe said and grunted. "Nope...I lied I'm in an excruciating state..how did it get to this..?"

"It's all my fault..." I said and my eyes were hollow.

"No it isn't! It's not your fault Stella! Don't say that!" Saya said.

"It is...Everything about this is my fault. I am the cause of so many people's demise. This outcome would've been avoided if I just focused on the ultimate task.." I said.

"If my sister dies...then you will have to take me also.." Tia said.

"Don't...be stupid Tia. You deserve to live.." Ashe said and held her hand.

"You deserve to live as much as I do! If you die, I die...I refuse to live a life without you." Tia said.

"Kanon...Victoria...Ashe...Tia...Himiya's parents...all my fault.." I said.

Unknown walked towards Tia and Ashe then looked at them. Tia closed her eyes and held Ashe's hand tightly, ready to face death with her sister. Unknown looked at them more then smirked and put them out of their misery by killing them both. Adriesta walked out of the building and charged her ultimate attack.

"I will end you demon!!" Adriesta bellowed. "Face the my true power!"

"You still don't know when to quit..." Unknown said.

"Say goodbye! Crematory Oubilette!" Adriesta bellowed and pulled the trigger and a massive fireball was shot at him, incinerating the ground.

"He can't be beaten...because of the Chaos Element.." I said then Unknown drained the power of Adriesta's ultimate attack.

"Come...Gravity Draw." Unknown moved his finger and Adriesta was pulled towards him due to a chaotic gravitational pull. He grabbed her by her neck and raised her off her feet. "It's been fun...but it all ends here."

Adriesta struggled as his grip became tighter and tighter then a phantom sword stabbed through her body and he overkilled by snapping her neck and dropped her body. That was my ultimate breaking point.

"Finally no more distractions.." Unknown said and looked at me. He felt some disturbances in the air and aura flow of the entire land.

"Do you all feel that..?" Aria asked.

"...yeah..." Saya nodded.

Himiya watched me and felt some intense demonic power coming from my body. Sazuka yelled for everyone to go to the nearest port and some of the people followed her. Miyuna grabbed Saya's hand and dragged her to the port and Saya looked back at me. Sazuka and Akiri managed to clear the area. All who was left was me, Ysserel, Himiya, and Unknown.

'What is this power..? Is it all really coming from Stella..?' Unknown asked.

"Victoria...the woman who remained by my side no matter what I did. Kanon...my little sister who saw only the joy in life...Tia...the shy woman who did everything in her power to remain positive...Ashe...the headstrong woman who defended me with her power... Adriesta...the person who took care of me when my family was all dead...you took them away from me.." I said and lightning crashed and thunder boomed loudly. The lightning crashed so hard on the ground it began to form a bit of magma to come from the ground.

'What is this..? How is she generating so much power..?' Unknown asked.

"You took some of the most important people in my life away from me.." I stood up and held my head as fragments of my memory with them flashed and shattered in my head. "You f*cked with the wrong demon.."

Himiya was absolutely terrified of my power as the winds raged powerfully. Ysserel flew into the air. Himiya hid under the table and curled up into a ball and shook in fear. Unknown watched as cursed marking spiralled around my arms and legs. Lightning crashed harder and shook the ground. Unknown looked at me and took a step back and was astonished by my true power. My scleras turned black in both eyes and my eyes shined a royal blue. My aura was as black as night. I yelled and my dark aura surged extremely wildly and I no longer had control over my emotions nor power. None of the Seven Auras mattered to me. All I wanted was Unknown dead.

"KILL! KILL! KILL!" The voice screamed in my head.

"I...will kill you.." I said and looked at him as I was completely controlled with my desire to kill Unknown. "Enjoy your final moments...because when I'm finished...you won't have an after life."
