Chapter 17 - To Steel Dragon Temple

In Heroism, Felix was fanatically staring at the Epic Grade Sword that the heavens endowed upon him.

Although he knew absolutely nothing about swords and stuff like that, Felix believed that the weapon would play a very crucial role in the long run. His final trump card that'll crush nearly every enemy!

If he'd known about this, his player name would've been Chronos. He should get a sword mastery skill book that'll help him learn how to use a sword... Hmm, he should check the store.

"Heya, Thundra. Do you know how to access the store? I want to buy something very important." Felix asked with a curious expression as he waved his hands towards Thundra who was busy picking up the drops from the monster.

Felix wasn't a fool or a show off, he understood that he wasn't able to access the store so he asked for help. They are on a major mission, every second counts.

"It's very easy, just open your menu screen by swiping up on your capsule's control panel, and you'll find the open store option on it. Things on the shop can only be purchased with Universal Galaxy Coins which could be exchanged for H.E. A Universal Galaxy Coin is equivalent to 10 Heroic Experience so you'll need at least 100 H.E to buy anything useful in the store." Thundra said without even turning around as she kicked aside a Metal-fang Devouring Wolf who had it's mouth gaping with a pool on it's own blood below it.

Hmph, that easy? What's 100 H.E? This daddy has no less than 1700 Heroic Experience in his account! All that would amount to 170 Universal Galaxy Coins!

It's 70 coins difference... Who cares? When I think something is easy, it's easy. Now let's purchase some good stuff!

Felix rubbed his hands as he appeared in a familiar white box-like room. His feet was slightly above the ground, making him look like a ghost as he hovered above the ground.

He pushed himself forward before taking a back-spin in the air.

'This still feels weird... anyway, lemme get to work immediately.' Felix said as his expression immediately turned serious. He immediately opened the control panel with his thoughts as a blue screen appeared before him in a flash.

Felix unhesitatingly swiped up as he squints her eyes in full concentration. He could hear his thumping heartbeat as a blue screen with a gold outline instantly popped up before him.

'Open menu...' Felix thought as an influx of foreign information immediately descended upon his mind, making him grit his teeth in pain. He had already turned muddle headed before a blue screen with glowing gold outline and black texts appeared before his eyes in a blink.

Felix continued to scroll up without even pausing for a second, but the various offers he got made his heart bleed. He was just a newbie, why does everything treat him as someone so high and holy?!

Buying random chests was like gambling. You keep winning and don't want to stop getting free cash. You keep losing and badly want the free cash.

If you're an unlucky b*stard, your cash runs out in a flash, and you're wishing for just want more chance. As if you're not beat enough.

Felix, Demon Hunter, Thundra and Flaming Maiden finally arrived at the gates of Steel Dragon Temple after an entire day of travelling. They were completely worn out from the travel, and decided to find a place to rest.

Right now, the four of them were sitting together inside a carriage on their way to the Steel Dragon Temple. Felix and Thundra sat side-by-side before Demon Hunter and Flaming Maiden.

Looking out of the carriage, Felix could see various cloaked people walking around on the sidewalk by the tiled pathway. Most of them had the emblem of a large horned iron-scaled metallic dragon with a mighty body and magnificent wings that were widespread behind it.

All of them stopped the carriage before a market, before jumping off without hesitation. Flaming Maiden was left behind to protect the carriage and the driver while Felix, Thundra and Demon Hunter were allowed to go into the market.

"I know of an Inn right besides the Steel Dragon Temple, it's heavily guarded and it's in seclusion from the rest of the city. We can train and rest in peace without being disturbed by outsiders. The standard cost for a week is 2 Universal Galaxy Coins." Demon Hunter said with a smile as she spotted a clothing shop not far away from them. Her eyes sparkled as she dragged Felix and Thundra off to the store whilst holding each of their wrists.

"Hey!" Thundra and Felix said in unison before being dragged off. They were a tad bit unhappy, but they didn't resist being brought off to the clothing shop.

They arrived right at the door in a few minutes, and were immediately dragged into the shop without even given the chance to speak. The moment the trio stepped into the shop, their eyes were ruthlessly swarmed by various notifications!

Demon Hunter silently dragged Felix and Thundra further into the shop with a smile on her face. Her eyes glistened as she instantly found the right place.

"Huh, so this is where we're going?" Thundra had a bored expression as she followed Dark Hunter into the room which was relatively bustling with NPC's. Felix on the other hand was attracted by something else...

"Guys wait here. I'll go buy something, please don't leave without me." Felix said as he disappeared into the crowd. A smile was on his face as he weaved his way through the crowd and headed in the direction of a shop.

What did he want to buy? Don't tell me you bought that blatant lie, Felix was going to find a dark place to gamble.

Thundra and her female colleague just shrugged helplessly. If their boss saw something he likes, who were they to stop him? They both turned around to face a shop with the words [Clothes Here!] written on a large board above the magnificent double red doors.

"Ahem. Demon Hunter do you want to buy some dresses?" Thundra asked as stars instantly filled her eyes. She subconsciously held on to Demon Hunter as she passionately stared at the beautiful rose dress on the mannequin at the window.

"Of course why would I be here if I didn't want to buy anything?"

Felix on the other hand was sitting down right before a gray metal door with a smile on his face. Before him was a blue screen with the familiar black text displayed on it.

Felix instantly accepted with a smile as the chest in his mental capsule shook violently. The entire world seemed to have blacked out as the chest finally opened...

Unlike last time, there wasn't any burst of energy or power, nor was there any suppressing aura, but just boundless vastness.

Felix looked into the chest, but he felt like he was staring into the mouth of a bottomless abyss. He could feel the suppressed dimensional energies waiting to be unlock by a powerful existence like himself.

Felix watched with a racing heart as something bright finally arose from the pit after so many seconds of waiting. It was a simple looking black box with a glowing blue outline which looked just about 10 inches tall and 10 inches wide.
