My beautiful mother

The morning was stunning. In the crystal-clear, blue sky, the sun shone beautifully. The sky was clear and blue, with white, fluffy clouds drifting through it. The birds continued to chirp, and the air seemed pleasant. Dew drips were adhered to the plant leaves.

Teddy, a 17-year-old teenager, was soundly dozing off on his bed when his phone's alarm started to ring. He turned it off before getting out of bed and moving to open the window.As he breathed in the morning air entering through his window, he exclaimed, "What a lovely morning." 

He yelled, "Mama, mama! Where are you woman!?"His mother gave a reply. "Come here, I'm in the kitchen!." To find his mother, Teddy ran to the kitchen. Her hand stroked Teddy's cheek. "Why are you running like that? You're going to hurt yourself, and you don't want that to happen on such a big day for you right!?"

Teddy guffawed. He screamed and raised his hands in the air, "I know mom that's why I came rushing to you, I want you to give me your blessings, today is the big day for me I'm starting my term 2 exams, finally yes!." 

Teddy's mother asked while humorously holding his nose, "it looks like this cute little boy is more excited instead of being scared for this exams, is that a normal thing huh?" Teddy chuckled and shook his mother's hand. "Mom, stop! I'm no longer so young; after all, I'm 17 years old." 

"You will always be my little pumpkin, even if you're 50 years old.", his mother said, smiling. 

Teddy chuckled. "Anyway, I'm not scared mom, you know your son is smart and has no rivals , obviously I'll pass my exams with flying colors, and go to the 12th grade next year after that I will go to college and become a doctor, and iI'll buy you a big and beautiful mansion in Sandton". His mother giggled. "Breathe, my boy, breathe! Why are you talking this fast. I'm sorry, but you don't need to brag like that to your mom, okay?", his mother said. 

He chuckled."I'm not boasting; I'm simply expressing the obvious. By the way, I'm hungry and don't want to arrive at school with an empty stomach. Tell me what you just made", Teddy asked. "I made a porridge, do you want me to dish up for you?", she asked. 

"mom! you know I love food, so how can you ask me that? It's pure disrespect, okay!", Teddy said, furrowing his eyebrows. As she was serving him the porridge, Mary said, "Oh my goodness, I spawned a food killer I forgot. It's 7 am and your exams start at 10 am, so take this and eat quickly to avoid being late", his mother said. "You're right, let me eat fast." 

Teddy shares a six-room house in Alexander with his mother. His mother works as a housekeeper for a wealthy family and has been working for them for 13 years, but he has never been embarrassed of her. Instead, he is happy that she is able to send him to a private school and put food on the table despite the meager income she receives. His mother served as his source of encouragement, and he always did well in school with the goal of pursuing his dream of becoming a surgeon.

Suddenly, his mother began to cough repeatedly. Teddy questioned, "Mom, are you ill? Do you have a fever?"

"Yes, my baby, I do have a small fever. Please excuse me, but just finish your meal so that you can go to the bathroom and take a bath, okay?" "Okay mom, but you should go to the clinic to get some medication plus it's your day off today you're not going to work, so use that as an opportunity to treat your fever before it becomes worse okay?" "All right, Doctor Williams, I heard you". 

Teddy smiled as he began to tuck in his pijamas. He said, "You're forcing me to brush, in 6 years, I'll turn into one. She replied, lightly slapping Teddy's palm, "I was mocking you by saying that, you brat go and wash up instead of bothering me, I have heard enough."

"I'm sorry, mama!", he said. He stroked his hand and said, "That hurts, don't do that okay. You know that hands are the most crucial tool I'll need to perform surgery in the future." 

While she was slapping his shoulder, she yelled, "Go you brat, get out of my sight." "I'm leaving, I'm leaving, somebody help me! Maria wants to beat his handsome son to death!", he shouted while laughing. Maria let out a sigh of relief and put her hand on her forehead as she muttered, "Gosh, I swear I was given a wrong son, did he just call me by my name."

Teddy entered the bathroom and turned on the faucets on the bath tab. He bumped his head a little and remarked, "Oh, I forgot to bring the towel." He walked straight to his room to get a towel. He walks while he was humming a song. His beaming smile revealed a row of pearly white teeth, warming and beaming joy into his face. "Let me also grab my uniform and place it on the bed. Luckily my mom ironed them for me, gosh how would I do without that woman.

" let me go and bath.The bath tab has probably already started to fill with water". Teddy grabbed a towel and hurried to the restroom. The bath tab was already full when he arrived. He turned off the water supply and took off his clothes. After that he dipped his legs into the water. "fuck! the water is too cold. I have a feeling that my mother cut the geyser off voluntarily to save electricity, so I won't ask her for fear of making her feel bad. Bathing in cold water is not altogether horrible because it will make me feel refreshed and keep me from nodding off in the exam room. Teddy kept bathing despite the water being chilly.

Teddy completed taking a bath one hour later. He used a towel to cover himself before going to his bedroom to get dressed. He was dressed in his brown blazer, grey pants, and white t-shirt. To check himself out, he headed to the mirror. I look fantastic in this uniform, as expected. Every time I look in the mirror and see myself, I fall in love all over again. Damn Maria you should be proud that you gave birth to a gold",he said adjusting his blazer while grinning. He combed his haircut.

"Okay, I'm done here, let me grab my bag and leave. He took his black school backpack and made his way to the entrance. The sitting room was close to the front door. "Mom I'm done I'm living now!" he yelled as soon as he entered the living room. There was silence. "Where did she go, is she still whining about what I did to her?" Teddy guffawed. She is just a drama queen that is why I like teasing her so much. Anyway, I should leave because I don't want to miss my first paper", he said. 

Teddy walked to school.
