the students quieted the class as I headed to the window .it was a rainy day I put my head on the glass inhaling the smell of dirt...

"you're planning to stick your head to the window for long?"

Emily sighed and then stood up"let's not let his highness wait" she looked at me with her sarcastic smile .she really don't care. but the only reason I am going to the palace is to see her reaction, will that poker face fall? we reached the palace using a portal and entered the drawing-room.

Aden was sitting at the desk talking to his assistant. his good looks are far away from his personality.

"Your highness, I have arrived"Emily spoke to the king formally when he got company.

he glance at us then dismissed the assistant.

"you're here," said Aden while heading to Emily he stared at her then said"are you eating well you lost weight don't tell me you looked yourself in the library and survived on dust and words"

Emily smiled at him brightly "that's because you give me too many tasks that I don't have time to eat" he burst out laughing as he hugged her "you never change ,milisious shortcake. don't make your older brother worry about you. " exactly, the king care about Emily as one of his family.

Emily gave him a genuine smile "alright, stop nagging. why am I here?"

Aden looked at me "wow you actually didn't spill the beans this time! are you becoming loyal to me?" disgusting ." you misunderstood your highness" I really hate this guy.

"anyways, the imperial army won the war. however there are many wounded soldiers that are in critical condition. I am asking for a favor, heal them before they reach the capital." the moment that I have been waiting for ...
