I Am Anti-romantic

Ep; "Yeah but can't we do that some other time?" When he frowned grumpily and didn't say a word, she smiled and cupped his face, "My handsome boy, I promise to go out with you some other time. Max is left alone with Maggie, how's she gonna cope with that babysitting all alone?" "I know but–okay, when next are you coming." "Well let's say–" "Tomorrow." He quickly suggested. Render some help

Widening his eyes in shock, Sebastian stood up rooted, "Is the building about to explode?"

"If it was to explode, then it should be long ago." Pointing at his cheeks, he inquired, "Where are they?"

Scrunching his brows, "Where are what?"

"Tear drops of course."

"I don't understand what you meant by that." When Ryan raised his brows and slack-jawed, he frowned quizzically, "What's with the weird look?"

"Seb, you were colossally sobbing when I came in." He gasped.

When he realized Ryan's point, Sebastian awkwardly scratched his head and deny, "Some dirt penetrated into my eyes."

"Oh please don't lie to me you dickhead, you know I know you're lying." When he sat down quietly without saying a word, Ryan sat down across the desk and placed his hands on the desk, "Talk to me man."

Picking up a document, he blandly remarked, "Ryan there's nothing wrong with me, am good."

Without saying anything, Ryan took one of the pods and locked it on his ear. After some time he took it off and picked up the same book he saw at the hospital, "And this?" Without waiting for his response, he added, "Dude, I'm not a baby, I know something is definitely not right with you. Anastasia and I got this same book after I saw it at the hospital and then we found a disc which we played for couple of times in the mansion."

"Hmm, nice one."

"Nice one? Is that what you have to give to the awaiting question?" Taking a deep breath, he leaned his back on the chair and crossed his arms with his brows furrowed, "Listen, everything about that book is euphoric and emotional. If I can proudly remember, you rarely listen to this type of genres."

"I just decide to listen to them today and I hope reading and learning makes perfect." Taking out his reading glasses, he fixed it on, "Do you have anything to say other than books and music?"

"Of course I do. Please justify the whole shit to me." He scoffed.

Annoyingly tossing the document on the desk, he placed his elbows on the desk and pinched the bridge between his brows. Taking a deep breath, he paused for a long time, "I haven't been myself since I got discharged."

"Okay and why?"

"Technically I did something I shouldn't have done even without confirming." When Ryan gave him a quizzical expression, he quickly added, "Okay before you'll start thinking weird of me let me briefly give you some clue."

Clearing his throat, he explained, "Remember Jin was at the hospital." When Ryan nodded his head, he added, "I never knew she donated a huge pound of blood to me and I ended up scolding and taunting her."

"You–"

Cutting him off, he quickly remarked, "I know it sounds bad but come on, how do you expect me to know she was actually there to render some help."

"Like seriously Sebastian you are annoying. Damn, Jin or not Jin, were you supposed to lash out on her? Even if it was to be anybody." Ryan frowned.

Running his fingers through his face, "Stop talking like it was intentional."

"Oh yes it was, Mr Sebastian Flynn." Groaning in frustration for what his weird cousin did, Ryan stared at him for quite some time with his brows scrunched, "Why did you do it? Why did you scold her?"

"I never liked her around and–"

"And what Sebastian? You did too much, I wasn't expecting that from you. How do you think Jin is gonna–" Helplessly shaking his head, he sighed, "Okay I'm sorry for raising my voice at you but dude that's not how you should behavior towards a lieutenant."

After seeing the regrets on his face, Ryan took a deep breath and patted his shoulder, "Hey, I am not blaming you for everything but you could have at least state it out. If not to anyone but me."

"Ryan, I was–I was–" Burying his head in his palms, he shook his head, "I'm just an asshole."

"Good thing you know you're an asshole–I mean, good thing you've realized your mistakes."

"All I need to do is fix it."

Raising his eyebrows, Ryan was startled. This was actually the first time he knew Sebastian realize his mistakes and admit to make amendments. "First, I think you should talk to aunt Petra about this."
