I am Altered

†Excerpt† “Bella are you hurt?” She asked me ignoring the intruders. When she saw that it wasn't that I didn't want to answer rather I couldn't. “Are you kidding me?” She yelled and face palmed herself. “I know you're human but these are weak altereds, they shouldn't be able to have that much control over you!” “You've got some nerve Princess!” The one with girly perfume spoke again, the rest just stood still like statues, not even their excessive clothings moved. He pronounced princess like one would something distasteful as if he had phlegm stuck in his throat. “You must be blind to the fact that you are greatly outnumbered.” “Don't panic, just make sure you're breathing properly I'll get you in a few seconds.” Her sentence erupted laughter from all thirteen of them and one of them made to cut me with an axe. It was a female I could tell, her chest was almost a D cup and her structure was quite curvy. Her eyes gleamed as she gently raised the axe and brought it down. Somehow I found my voice and I screamed once again. What happened next was something I would ponder about for the next few days. As soon as my mouth opened to release the high pitched sound known as screaming, I saw the head of the masked woman with an ax go flying alongside the two persons nearest to her.  My scream ended with a whimper for I could not comprehend what had just happened. My eyes hadn't been able to follow it at all, I saw was a flash and heads went flying. Another touched his neck and there were two holes leaking out blood. Blood was pouring on me from where the Missy with an ax head had been. I could hear an inaudible scream slowly emanate from my throat but the sound never made it out. The blood was a dark red, nothing like the bright red I was used to. “Tsk!” Carly said and spat blood. “Just awful. What humans do you people drink blood from? Crackheads?”  She was on the stairs and if I didn't see the blood I would have sworn she did not move a muscle. She was still like when she came down the stairs, not one hair was out of place except a few new accessories. The blood on her right hand, I wondered if that had been her weapon. I immediately noticed some burns on her hands and face. The sun, blood. My aunt was a vampire. My eyes widened with realization, the not going out, not eating and why she had to remain on the stairs since they broke through the window and sunlight was streaming in. The fact that her hand could cut through human skin that's if these guys were human. She had called them Altereds. Callidora is a Vampire Princess, she is left with a decision where she has to decide the lives she saves and doesn't. With no other option she is forced to do what she thinks is best. A complete stranger suddenly starts living in her house, her parent acts like everything is okay and pretend they don't see. When strange things starts to happen Bella is forced to voice out her feelings, still nothing changes. Soon things spiral out of control and all she could do to keep sane is act like it is nothing out of the ordinary. †**†**†**†**†**†**†**†**†**†**†**†**†**†** Disclaimer The above picture isn't mine, all credit goes to the owner.

Chapter Sixty-Two

"What are you talking about Stacey?" I asked again when she didn't answer immediately.

"Allen! What are you doing here?" she called out suddenly as the spell of shock broke.

"That does not answer my question."

"Um Stacey, I got to go," Blondie said, interrupting me and he dropped a cage on the front step. I wonder what it held as if to answer my question the animal meowed.

"No, don't." She paused, then said, "Okay."

"Call me if you need anything. I would be here as fast as I can." He gave her a tight hug and kissed her on the forehead. It took me everything not to sucker punch him.

"I know, bye Clark."

I watched the blond dude walk away or Clark or whatever his name was, I didn't exactly care before I returned my attention to her. Through the light, I could see the tiredness on her face and I could tell that she needed some sleep but I was too angry to put that into consideration.

"What are you doing here?"
