You are seriously missing out if you're not reading this novel. Argubly one of the best written pieces on WN, everything about it is fantastic. There is no overused repetitions of the MC offending everyone everywhere he goes and killing every young master he meets. There is no random girls falling at his feet - no, this novel is a massive breath of fresh air and uniqueness that makes me feel alive after reading dozens of novels with the same storyline over and over again.
Quality
The writing quality is impeccable. No grammar mistakes to be found, and the flow is amazing. Everything is smooth and glides like water in a stream. Every sentence is like a work of art. This should be a published novel >:0
Description is thorough enough to enable the reader to sink into this amazing world of cultivation. Fight scenes are well detailed and thrilling, adding that spice of action. I could totally see the scenes playing through my head like a movie. Please let this be a movie in the future.
Stability
Long daily chapters. That's all I need to say. The author chose and stuck to their schedule, and that warrants a 5 star. Thank you and please mass release soon(I'm jk)
Development
A medium paced novel, so not too slow yet not too fast. Events that occur are natural and makes complete sense - no bs reasons for why things happen. 15 chapters in is enough to see the massive potential this novel has to grow as a huge thing in the future, jumping into the top 10 easily. Revive the xianxia genre! There is a lot of foreshadowing and drama, and I look forward to watching everything play out. There are little to no cliches used(the ones used all turn out to have unique twists, which made for great plot twists and make me chuckle at times). The MC isn't overpowered, he obviously will develop and grow on his own and I can't wait to see that! I won't go into too many details of what happens because you can read that yourself, but just know that reading this novel is so. worth. it.
Characters
Song Yi: I LOVE his name hahaha. As the MC, he's an amazingly realistic character - a bit childish and impulsive, just like how one would expect a 15 year old would behave. He's not perfect, and he makes mistakes and uses these mistakes to grow. At the same time, he's obviously not dumb - his street smarts as a thief push him through many situations. He's not a pushover, but he knows when to back down and he isn't arrogant. Can't wait to see how he grows as cultivator in the future, as well as future characterisation.
Old man Wang: this is just my nickname for my absolutely FAVOURITE character in this novel. He's just there trying his best man. Snarky and grumpy, he constantly makes things hard for Song Yi - but is also one of the best teachers around. There's so much mystery surrounding him, and I can't wait to see his past to be revealed and finally have the answers to the multitude of questions I have about him.
Su Bai: Another character we are introduced to early, amd roughly the same age as Song Yi. As a girl, I have to thank the author so much for giving us a female character who honestly has a point of being there as a character, and isn't sexualized, nor is treated solely as a "love interest". She has her own motives and personality. Love at first sight? Not a thing. She and Song Yi get along like fire - but they fight as well at times, and it truly shows how a realistic friendship works. Not everything is rainbows and cookies. She's strong and doesn't need saving, she'll fight and grow like any other character. God, I love her.
Each character we are introduced to all have their own unique personalities and have their own motives. It adds a lot of depth to the story, and this is obvious to see even only 15 chapters in.
World background
At the current moment, there aren't enough chapters to fully see what kind of world this is. But from the amount of world building that HAS occured, one thing is apparent: the author has put in a
