Was he being pranked?

" Remind me why you are carrying a laptop." Ying Yue asked Yu Yan as they walked towards the elevator. Throughout the drive, Yu Yan had been trying to explain to Ximen and Xiaoyu.

"I just think I'll need it." The mysterious girl replied with a mischievous smile. She knew what she wanted to do already.

"We need to see President Gu." Ying Yue said to the man who looked like he was about to faint as he ran out of a room. However, he looked so handsome and young too.

"You must be Yu Yan, I'm Ling Xiao." He introduced himself.

"Actually, I'm Ying Yue, as in Ying Yue." Ying Yue yelled out, a bit pissed that he didn't know her. All the staff along the way recognized her. Little did she know that the man in front of her hardly had time for his own life.

"Oh, but President Gu wants to meet a Miss Yu." The man said, looking as if he wanted to be anywhere but in front of them.

" She's Yu Yan, I'm her best friend."

"Oh but...."

"She won't speak if I'm not there."Ying Yue lied and Ling Xiao looked at Yu Yan skeptically.

" I'll inform President Gu." He replied and walked into the office.

" Oh My God, I now know everything, that woman is the super hot lady outside waiting for you. " Ling Xiao exclaimed as soon as he entered and Gu Jingze glared at him.

Those eyes he saw were beautiful, she was going to be beautiful. He didn't like to say hot, just beautiful.

"Why's she still outside?" He asked, his eyes narrowing. He couldn't wait to see the owner of those light brown eyes that haunted his dreams.

"She came with her friend."

" I don't care, let her in. " Gu Jingze replied, impatiently.

Soon after, Ling Xiao had gone out and walked back in. As soon as the woman stepped in, he furrowed his brows. Those were not the eyes. Was he being pranked?

But he soon relaxed when he saw the lady that followed. Dressed in a black hoodie, black trousers and pants, she looked badass. He looked at her face and couldn't help but try to memorize them. She had rosy cheeks, plump pink lips and those light brown eyes.

Her face was smudged with make up. It was as though she was crying. Was she sad? He couldn't help but want to pull her in his embrace and make everything alright.

He looked down to her long neck that revealed white creamy flesh to her breasts. He inhaled deeply when he felt a stirring in his lower region. Secretly adjusting himself, he reminded himself that she was just a clubwhore.

It was funny how he didn't remember a body like hers. He had gotten her name when he sent money to her bank account.

"Good afternoon, Mr Gu." Ying Yue greeted and he nodded his head. He was waiting to hear her voice. Her, as in her, his Yu Yan's voice. Now that he saw her, he felt like claiming her for himself. He'll make her quit her job at the bar. He would, if she doesn't agree, he'll just buy it.

"I'm here, regarding my best friend, Yu Yan." Ying Yue added and he felt like chasing her out. wasn't she popular for singing? what was she doing here? How is she and Yu Yan acquainted?

She was disturbing his supposedly peaceful date. Ling Xiao was better, he just kept quiet and watched unlike this woman .

"What are you going to do about it? She can't afford to be on the news, her life would be ruined." Ying Yue protested.

He swept his gaze across Yu Yan. Wasn't it ruined already? Sleeping with random men at a bar? He'll accept her like that. He was sure she'd be happy, she'll probably jump at his offer. Little did he know that he had totally misconceived the cunning woman.

Yu Yan stared at the imbecile in front of her. He sure didn't look like one. After a bit of analysing, she was quick to reach a conclusion.

He acted like that because he was drunk. He was a full grown handsome man. Her cheeks flamed when she called him handsome. Why was she acting cute? She was supposed to be cold, cold. She reminded herself and steeled her gaze.

He started to propose lots of stupid opinions. Yu Yan was getting real bored, she knew he was smart enough to know what he was supposed to do. He was just trying to make her speak.

Since, he wasn't ready to do his part, after helping him that night. She was ready to do it for him. With a cold look on her face, she opened Ying Yue's laptop and got to work, leaving the two of them to continue negotiating what she'll never agree to.

After so many clicks on Ying Yue's keyboard, she typed a brief message and clicked on the enter button. That was it, she had fixed everything. With a wicked smirk, she switched off the laptop.

Gu Jingze felt his phone vibrating vigorously on his desk. However, he was entranced by this beauty. He wanted to get to know her. He wanted her by his side always. He saw her lean onto her friend and whisper something into the latter's ear.

For the first time in his life, he became jealous. That again, jealous of an organ. He wished that he was that ear.

"My friend said everything has been fixed. We'll leave right now. Sorry for disturbing you. " Ying Yue said and stood up professionally. They hadn't even reached a common ground, yet. What had been fixed?

However, he let them go. He already had him team working on her information.

Ling Xiao pulled out his phone and read the message. With a firm look, he turned to Gu Jingze.

"She attends Winters Academy." He said and Gu Jingze nodded. Ling Xiao wanted to pull his hair. Wasn't it this same man that was gazing at Yu Yan with so much affection, it was as if he wanted to drool.

it took all control for him not to go bananas. Immediately she left, he had returned to his frosty persona.

Gu Jingze opened his phone and saw so many messages. He opened his Instagram account. There, was a message he never wrote.

" The identity of the woman in the picture would not be released because she's not just anyone to me. She's my savior, she saved me when I was drunk and the reason she was dressed in my clothes was because I barfed all over hers.

Please thank her in your heart and let it be. Thank you for always supporting me. "

Gu Jingze chuckled. He had underestimated this woman. She was way beyond his expectations. He was getting more interested in her. Somehow, he knew that message was her doing.

Ling Xiao meanwhile, was shifting from one foot to another nervously. What did President Gu see that made him chuckle. Is he safe?

"Ling Xiao..." Gu Jingze called out.

"Yes.. " The nervous man replied.

"Cancel my ticket to England. Submit my files to the administrative department at Winters Academy. Do that right now. " Gu Jingze commanded and Ling Xiao went out.

Meanwhile, Gu Jingze picked his phone and texted his mum.

"I have found a wife already " He smiled. He was going to get his Yu Yan. Deep down, he wanted her.
