Almighty Gu goes shopping for sanitary pads.

Ignoring the looks everyone gave her, she ran towards the door. The security team were fast enough and soon she was prevented from running out.

She was hauled into the car and Gu Jingze sat next to her.

"Where to?" Ling Xiao asked and Gu Jingze gave him a harsh glare. Breathing out loud he headed for the Gu mansion.

"Why are you so mad? You were eating so unladylike, you got sauce on your lips yet made no move to clean it off. I just helped you. "Gu Jingze said to a blank looking Yu Yan.

He could have used an handkerchief!

Why had he managed to infiltrate into every corner of her life? Just like that, Yu Yan remembered Xiaoyu, her notes, school!

This was the second time she was skipping school because of him. She made a mental note not to ever let that happen again. Skipping school was one of the things Ying Yue would not overlook. And it was very bad to do that, anyway.

She wanted to tell him her address. However, due to her extreme stubbornness, she ignored him.

Ling Xiao was surprised as to how Yu Yan behaved as if she were at home. Immediately they entered the mansion she sat at the dining table, picked up an apple and started eating it. Gu Jingze sat opposite her and was just staring.

She stood up and went round the table to grab a glass of water. As if about to fall, she surged forward and gripped the edge of the glass table tightly. Gu Jingze ran towards her and held her to support her.

Yu Yan was feeling light headed. Everywhere was as though it was spinning. She could feel pain in every muscle of her abdomen and lower limb.

The reality of what had happened wanted to make her kill herself, it was that time of the month.

How more unfortunate can she be!

Unlike most people, Yu Yan had an extreme case of menstrual cramps. Sometimes, leaving her unable to stand. Unless she took drugs consequently before that time, she would always end up spending the whole day crying, rolling and turning.

With all that had been happening, she had totally forgotten about that. She knew she was done for.

Not only could she not ask Gu Jingze for her girl requirements, who would help her when she was in intense pain?!!

Just as another wave of intense pain shot through her, she gripped his shirt tightly and gritted her teeth. The pain was intensifying.

Gu Jingze carried her bridal style and moved into the room she slept in earlier. He laid her carefully onto the bed and felt her temperature.

"She's burning." He said to Ling Xiao who had entered uninvited.

"I...I...need to...go home." Yu Yan mumbled out vulnerably.

" What? Call He Yiqui, it seems the pain is kicking in." Gu Jingze said frantically.

Yu Yan got angry. Yes, she was feeling pain but not the pain he thought she was. She always had mood swings whenever it was her time of the month.

"I need a sanitary pad." She yelled at Gu Jingze and Ling Xiao's finger froze on the keypad.

"Ah..." Gu Jingze said confusedly and Ling Xiao turned to Yu Yan.

"Please, give us a minute, everything would be okay."

"Boss, you mean you don't know what a sanitary pad is for?" He yelled, feeling like smacking his boss's head.

" Ah..oh, okay. Where would I get that?" Gu Jingze asked. This time, Ling Xiao face palmed. However, he didn't blame Gu Jingze. He had lived all along with his grandma who had reached menopause and his father,who obviously was a man.

"Hey, please get a hot bag to the madam. Tell her to place it on her stomach." He said to a maid.

" Yes sir." The young woman scurried away quickly.

"Boss, this time around, I'll be the boss. You're clearly lacking in this area." He said and Gu Jingze nodded understandably.

" I'll take care of everything here, including comforting her...."

" Isn't that my job?" Gu Jingze interrupted possessively. Ling Xiao snorted. This his boss was becoming so unbelievable. He didn't know anything yet he wants to stay. Ignoring him, Ling Xiao grabbed a piece of paper and wrote a few things on it.

"You'll get that from the nearby store. Please be as fast as you can."

" Without getting killed." He yelled to Gu Jingze who was already sprinting off the door.

Gu Jingze hurriedly went into a nearby cheap supermarket since the drive to his regular one was far. As soon as he entered, people started taking pictures. He then recalled that he didn't wear a mask into the supermarket. As he looked at the list in his hands, his face flushed with embarrassment.

He reminded himself that his Yu Yan came first as he rushed into the supermarket, ignoring the whispers and chaos as people filmed him.

As he got to the section where sanitary pads were sold, his face flushed deeply. He didn't know how many she could use or is supposed to use, hence, he scooped everything and put it into the trolley. Not knowing the type of brands she uses, he packed everything in that section.

As he moved around pushing two trolleys full with sanitary pads, he went to the drug section and bought three packets of Ibuprofen. As he moved around, people took pictures of him and he wanted the ground to swallow him.

He then, went to get ginger and lemon tea and some honey.

After that, he moved to the cashier. Women whispered;

"Almighty Gu is shopping for sanitary pads."

"it must be for the mystery woman that is living with him."

" Why that amount though?"

" How could she let a whole Almighty shop for her sanitary pads?"

" Forget it, if it were you, would you say no? Oh my God, Almighty Gu is so romantic. I'm posting this on Weibo."

" Me too."

" I will do that too."

Unfortunately for Gu Jingze, a reporter was there also, shopping for his baby shower along with his wife. He brought out his camera and took a picture. This would make the headline in his news company. He already had a title for it;

"Almighty Gu goes shopping for sanitary pads."

The reporter smiled broadly, almost moved to tears.

This was it, his breakthrough. He was going to be rich!!!!
