Author's pov:

After sending her hubby to work,

Tanya took the money Veer gave her and put it inside her purse along with her phone to buy groceries.

She walked out of the apartment and made sure the front door was locked.

She walked past the slut's house but

Out of blue a puppy ran to her,

Which made her halt on her steps.

She bent down and took that cute puppy in her arms giggling.

Tanya loves puppies so much.

That puppy licked Tanya's cheek and snuggled in to her neck.

"Awww cutie,aww so cute"Tanya said pecking the puppy.

"auntie,he is mine"a kid in his five or six years said keeping his hands on his hips, cutely glaring at Tanya.

Tanya giggled and bent down to his height.

"Really?he is so cute like you"Tanya said and booped the little kid's nose.

That boy looked shyly hearing Tanya call him cute.

"what's your name sweetcheeks"

Tanya asked smiling.

"My name is Sonu,I am 6 year old,

I am a big boy "Sonu said cutely showing his 6 fingers with stern doe eyes that he is a big boy.

Tanya chuckled and squished his cheeks.

"My name is Tanya Sharma and I am 19 years old"Tanya said smiling.

"You are so much older than me,

I thought I can marry you and become your husband"sonu said pouting.

Tanya laughed at the boy's cuteness.

"Do you live here?"Tanya asked standing and held Sonu's little hand

With puppy on her arms.

"I live in 10D, there"Sonu said pointing at the appartment which is the fourth apartment of the 10 th floor.

They walked upto Sony's apartment and she gave the puppy back to Sonu.

"Tanya,you are so pretty become my girlfriend, I'll show you my new toys"Sonu said holding his puppy cutely.

"ofcourse baby,we can play in evening,I live in 10 A only"

Tanya said smiling and smooches the boy's cheeks.

Tanya caressed the puppy and stood up smiling,she waved to Sonu and walked towards the lift.

Tanya bought all the groceries needed from the nearby store and

came back to her home.

She kept the groceries on the kitchen island and wiped her sweat

by her saree.

She sat on the couch tiredly, Tanya thought what all works are pending keeping a hand under her chin.

She cleaned the house,made breakfast,made lunch, already cleaned the dishes,now washing clothes only remaining

She sat for a few minutes relaxing and went to wash clothes.

Tanya put on all the dirty clothes in the washing machine, except her hubby's work clothes,

Because she wants to wash it with her own hands like a good wifey,

Tanya thought with pink blushy cheeks.

Tanya is washing her hubby's clothes,she blushed when she saw her hubby's boxers with a shy smile on her face.

She washed all of the clothes and hanged it to dry on the balcony.

Next Tanya thought what to do,

That's it no work is pending Tanya untied her hair bun and sat on the couch with the remote in her hand.She started to change channels boredly.She stopped on a channel, where her favourite TV serial is running.

Tanya started to watch it eagerly.

Evening :5.30pm

Veer came back from work, entered his house and removed his shoes.

Veer walked inside the hall that's when his eyes landed on Tanya who is sniffling.

He frowned in confusion,that's when his eyes landed on the tvserial running in the tv,he rolled his eyes and cleared his throat.

Tanya snapped her eyes towards Veer,she wiped her tears and walked towards him,she took his doctor's coat, stethoscope and bag

From his hand and walked towards the room to keep it.

Veer sat on the couch tiredly and unbuttoned his top two shirt buttons sighing.

Few minutes later Tanya came back with ginger tea, Veer's favourite and gave it to him.

"Mr.Veer you know I went to store today to buy groceries and the worker was so rude to me and told me he has no change for 2000Rs.

And asked me to give him exact amount"Tanya said with a pout sitting next to Veer.

Veer just hummed sipping his favourite tea.

"Mr.Veer see this I bought these groceries in this list,it will come up to a month.I think I spent up to 1750Rs and I kept the balance money in the table drawer for emergency purposes"Tanya said

"mmm"Veer hummed again looking at the grocery list Tanya gave to him, nodded her head and gave the list back to him

Sipping his tea.

The front door bell rang and they both snapped their head towards the door.

"I'll go and see who it is"Tanya said and walked towards the door,

She opened the door and Sonu standing with few toys.

Tanya giggled picking him up in her arms,she closed the door behind him and walked inside with Sonu in her arms.

"Did you informed your Amma,Appa that you are coming here?"Tanya asked smiling.

Sonu nodded his head giggling.

Veer frowned looking at his neighbour's kid in his house.

"what are you doing here?"

Veer asked in a stern and deep voice.

Sonu pouted and looked at Tanya with glossy eyes.

Tanya pecked his cheek and said

"he is my friend Mr.Veer"with a pout.

"no,no, Tanya is my girlfriend"

Sonu protested immediately wrapping his arms around Tanya's neck.

Veer huffed rolling his eyes and continued watching tv.

"tanya why are you living with this rude uncle,is he your husband?"Sonu asked with a sad pout

Tanya smiled sweetly and was going to answer him but before that Veer did.

"No,she is working as a maid here,

Just a maid"Veer said looking at the tv.

Tanya's throat went dry,her heart clenched and her face went pale,

Tears brimmed in Tanya's eyes.

She sat on the couch next to Veer with Sonu and changed his expression like she was normal.

"taetae you don't worry, I'll become big and marry you then I'll treat you as a queen"Sonu said and giggled cutely.

'I'll become big and marry you'

These words ringed in Veer's ears,

When he heard those words,his mind drifted to ten years back

When Tanya said to him the same sentence and some more things swirled in his head

He stood up, walked towards his room and slammed the door hard.

Both Tanya and Sonu flinched at the loud noise.

"Sonu can you come back tomorrow baby,tanya has some work,we can play tomorrow hmm?"

Tanya asked squishing Sonu's cheeks.

Sonu nodded his head with a pout.

After sending Sonu back Tanya walked inside Veer's room and saw Veer sitting on the bed gripping his head.

"why are you behaving like this infront of a kid Mr.Sharma" Tanya asked.

Veer glared at her,stood up and walked towards her angrily.

He grabbed Tanya's neck and pressed her on the wall hardly, gripping her neck bruisingly.

"I should not see that fucking kid anymore in my house"Veer said squeezing Tanya's neck painfully

Tanya just held Veer's hand

softly and caressed it,with tears flowing from her soft almond eyes.

"UNDERSTOOD?"Veer shouted at Tanya's face.

Tanya nodded her head struggling to breathe, sniffling.

Veer let go of her neck,turned and walked away.

Tanya slide down on the floor

Gasping for air desperately.

Tanya tried to calm himself but tears are flowing nonstop from her eyes,she is not crying for how her throat is paining,she is trying to calm himself and saying it's ok but she couldn't stop crying,she is having a panic attack,her fingers are shaking,her heart is pounding in her chest,she can't utter a word from her mouth,he is gasping for air desperately,her whole world is blurry and everything is swirling around for her.Soon Tanya blacked out and fell on the floor.

Veer walked out of the restroom after getting freshened up.

Veer was going to sit on the bed taking his phone, that's when his eyes landed on Tanya who is on the floor.

His eyes got widened,he ran towards Tanya and held her in his arms and patted her cheeks calling her "Tanya" "Tanya" "Tanya"

Veer called patting Tanya's cheeks but Tanya is not opening her eyes.

He ran and brought water with him and sprinkled the water on Tanya's face.

Tanya slowly opened her eyes,

Her eyes are so blurry,she can't see anything clearly.

Veer wiped her face and took her in bridal style ,laid her on the bed and rised the AC temperature

Tanya felt so dizzy and sleepy she drifted to sleep unknowingly.
