CHAPTER 5

Killian's POV

It's been  five months since I left New York...but still she's in my head...i can't seem to forget about her...I actually there to check in on one of the companies i was planning to invest in called Sectarian...It basically deals with marketing and sales promition so i needed to expand my company...During my time there I actually learnt alot about humans...not all of them bad but never judge a book by its cover...I know I'm known for my ruthlessness but I'm not a bad guy, I just don't like people fucking with my people and that's when the ruthless and  merciless alpha comes out...

My wolf Titus doesn't think twice before snapping necks...to him its kill now and ask questions later when it comes to his pack...he's basically a total maniac when others threaten the pack especially hunters....at least we both agree on something...

I stared at my Rolex watch wondering where Jason, my driver was at. I had a meeting in 15 minutes and I didn't like being late. He was going to regret he made me wait for 5 minutes now. Just as I was about to call him, he pulled up in front of me..The moment he locked eyes with me he knew all hell was about to break loose...

I swiftly entered tha car and as I cooled the door...the idiot started rambling..

"My apologies Mr Queens, I was stuck in traffic..its a busy road today and I sincerely apologize for being late"..he stared at me waiting for my response...I didn't feel like responding so I just looked straight dead ahead....but no, butface decided to wipe my ass and continued..

"It won't happen next sir i promise..In fact I'll be more quicker and earlier next t....

"Shut up...I don't give a damn about why you're late...you were supposed to arrive 5 minutes before and now instead of driving you're busy waiting my time....get the fuck out of my car...leave right now or I'll toss you out myself...don't bother coming back because you're fired"..

He basically threw himself outside and I got out and went to the driver's seat and drove myself. I didnt need someone to waste my time so I just hit the road. I didnt bother checking on him and I didn't care about how he'll get back home..

I was consumed with my thoughts when suddenly I had to him the brakes. Some brunette bumped the hood of my car and fell from the impact. As I mentioned I'm no bad guy so I got out to see the damage that probably occurred to the hood of my white Porsche..ohh and the girl too.. As I opened the door, that intoxicating scent him me hard...I knew that scent even in my sleep...it was a beautiful scent to smell, it smelled like vanilla mixed with citrus....Titus purred in my heard...he loved that scent and he's been on the edge for the past 5 months since I left.. The moment my eyes locked with those brown intoxicating ones, everything suddenly became slow. She was staring at me, her beautiful face was portrayed an expression of shock...Lira Evans stood with wobbly legs and stared at me with eyes filled shock and confusion .

I don't dare move a muscle because I was shocked too, I mean I never thought I would see her again..didn't she live in New York?.. She was standing in front of me in the busy streets of Seattle..I looked at her like it was my first time seeing her...

I was in my car driving along the streets of New York...My wolf was on the edged that day...he was begging to come out and I couldn't allow that to happen...I had to control him...I was sweating too much, I decided to roll down the window, I was hit by a scent so strong that i had to pull over...It was the most beautiful scent and it was so intoxicationg that I felt the erge to get out of my car...my wolf started jumping around my head as I followed the vanilla mixed with citrus scent into a small cafe...

I was about to open the door when a brunette came rushibg out that she collided with my chest and her drink spilled all over my shirt...she didnt notice me because he eyes were fixed on her drink that was spilled on the ground...the scent got overwhelming and I felt my wolf purr in my head...mate...I knew she was the reason behind the scent that overpowered my nostrils...I was about to say something when I smelled something else in her scent...she was human...you got to be fucking kidding me...what did i do to piss you off moongoddess that you paired me with one of them...

She raised her head and my breath was knocked out my chest...Her beautiful light brown eyes locked with mine...she took a step back and i studied her features...She had waivy brown hair that reach below her shoulders..Her skin look soft and creamy. Her small buttoned up nose was cute and her pink pouty lips were too much for me to handle...the things I could do with those lips...She was wearing blue jeans and a brown hoodies...she looked so fucking sexy i felt my dick twitch in my pants...no she's one of them..shes a human...I quickly snapped out of it.

"Aren't you going to apologise?"..I asked

"Hu..huh?"..she stuttered...I got itritated because she was wasting my time..I wanted her to submit to me...

"Are you deaf or fucking dumb...apologize"...

She looked like she was taken back by my words....

"Excuse me...you bumped into me...how dare you call me dumb...who the fuck do you think you are?"..I raised my eyebrows because I was suprised by her response.

"Do you realise who you're talki.." she quickly cut me off..

"Listen here butt face..I don't give a shit about who you are...you think just because you're a beautiful..no in fact a walking greek-god amongst humans, you can say shit and get away with it...I don't think so assfa.."...I started seeing red...how dare she disrespect me...I snapped..

"Who the fuck do you think you are huh?..Do you have any idea who you're fucking talking to?..you're nothing but a bug under my shoe...you think you can just insult me and get away with it...not only did u do that but you spilled your fucking coffee all over my shirt....." I was done playing nice..she needed to know her place...

She looked  frightened..good, now she knew I didn't give a damn about the mate bond...

"You think just because the moon goddess paired me with you I'll accept you?...you are nothing more than a weak, stupid, annoying teenager who is nothing more than a waste of space...stay away from me because if we ever meet again, I'll make sure to make your fucking life a living hell."

I pushed her and she landed on the floor with a thud...I quickly made my way back to the car in a quick speed..I was inside the in less than 5 seconds and I drove off and nevr looked back.

"So it seems like you really like disobeying me kitten, so I'll have to fulfill the promise I made...after all..I'm a man of my word"

Her eyes widened and I registered that she remember what I said when we met for the first time...

I was more than willing to make her life a living hell.
