Chapter 3

Ashley's POV

I rolled around, the golden Rays of the sun shone directly into my room and to my closed eyes. I turned away from the sun light before I stood up from the bed.

I walked towards the bathroom, I brushed my teeth and then showered.

I dried up my wet body,I picked up another neat towel and then I came out with a towel tied round my body.

I moved to the wardrobe, I brought out a pink gown that stopped on my knees.

Since Maria is here with me to dictate to me what I wear, I think I should settle with whatever seemed nice.

I walked down the stairs, the maids had already prepared the food.

Without wasting any time I went to the dinner room, Maria was also seated.

"Good morning Maria" I greeted with a smile.

"Good morning, how was your night?" she said.

"It was great, what about yours?" I replied, smiling.

It was good, she replied.

Seems like you are going to the office this morning Maria said

Yeah, I have something important to do today and I have a group meeting at the hall. I replied with a smile.

Okay I wish you good luck in everything you do Maria said with a smile.

"Thanks that's why I love you babe" I replied and kissed her cheek.

"Please eat the food that is getting cold," Maria said.

Some minutes later, I was done eating. I took my bag and my car keys which were on the table. I remember that I hadn't taken my phone. I was about to go inside to get my phone when Maria gave me the phone.

Thanks Maria I muttered, I left the house, I hit the road.

* Thirty minutes later*

*A&B company*

I arrived at the company, I moved to the office. I know that they have been waiting for me.

On my way to the office I met my secretary good morning ma'am she greeted me with a smile.

Good morning I replied smiling, they are waiting for you ma'am she said.

Alright I will be there I said, she left...

I got a call from my sister Bella. What does she want this time around?

Hello b!tch she said, wish made me feel like smacking my phone on the floor.

"What do you want?" Bella I asked, coldly.

"Guess what b!tch your boyfriend I mean your ex is really good in bed, he f!cks like crazy he's so good" she said.

"Are you done?" I asked.

"No not yet, he told me that you're b!tch, I wonder what a pretty lady like you is still doing I thought... You didn't f!ck him, you should have tested him, I don't mind giving him back to you but you don't deserve him, he needs someone like me not a b!tch like you" she said, laughing.

"Bella I don't have time for this nonsense, please enjoy your man and leave me alone, stop calling me" I said, and hang up.

I left my phone in the office, I went to the room I took a seat, when I got there everyone was already on their seat.

"Please continue" I said looking at the screen that was on the wall.

*Forty minutes later*

The meeting was over, I headed to the office. I picked up my bag and my phone.

I unlocked the phone, and I saw a message from Bella.

"I will take everything that belongs to you"

I sighed softly, I left the office, without replying to her message.

Beep beep I checked my phone, it was a message from Maria, aside from my mom she's the one who cares about me.

"Where are you"

"I hope you are okay, please don't do anything stupid"

I called her up to tell her that I'm fine.

"Hello Ashley, how are you doing?" she said.

" I'm fine, I will be at home soon," I said.

"Okay I'm waiting for you" she said, I smiled and hung up.

I got to my car, I entered the car I drove out of the surrounding area.

I turned on the music, seven Rings by Ariana grande.

"I hope that I will find love,if Jack was only dating me only because I am rich, then why did I choose to be with my sister who's not even working" I thought.

"Just forget about him, you will get someone better" my inner mind said.

Some minutes later, I arrived at the house. I walked into the house, I moved to the living room and saw Maria watching a movie.

You're back, thank God that you're okay as you said, Maria mumbled.

I smiled at her, so tell me how was your day, how was the meeting she said with a smile.

It was fine, I muttered as she was leaving the living room for the kitchen I guess, I kept my bag on the couch, and followed her.

She opened the fridge and brought out the orange juice...

I need to freshen up, I said and left the kitchen I rushed the stairs.

I opened the door, it hit my memory that I left my bag on the couch, I walked tiredly to the living room.

"Are you done already?" Maria asked.

"No, I want to take my bag," I replied calmly and left the living room.

I entered my room. I wish my mom was here. I remembered when I was little when I got back from school mom would be the one to take off my uniform. I wish she's here to do that for me now. I'm so tired.

I took off my dress and walked n!ked to the bathroom. It's my house and it's my room so I do whatever I want.

I came out of the bathroom, I headed to the closet and found something casual.

I was about to go to my make-up table to apply the lotion on my body. When my phone rang, who could it be this time? I thought, I searched for my phone. It was in my bag and I brought it out.

"Guess who was calling"....
