He was a handsome being that maidens want to be with. Sadly, he was stuck with her—Blaise thought. She was about to speak when time seemed to stop the moment he fluttered his eyes open, slowly, slightly adjusting to the blinding light with confusion visible on his eye. Blaise caught her breath.
